Because “credible fear” is the magic word they are given by activist immigration lawyers at the border.

Agreed.

Did I miss the invasion? Did we win or lose?

Did I miss the invasion? Did we win or lose?

The biggest loss was to the US taxpayers who are still paying for Trump's election stunt.

And if Fox 'news' had had a shard of credibility, they would have lost the last remaining bits while they were serving up their scare-avan lies in their role as Trump's private/state (quasi-public?) media.

When you put the military and increase the border patrol agents all along the border, I would call that a strong win for blocking an invasion attempt.

What a bunch of crock. That’s the liberal narrative that they always like to spin.

And if Fox 'news' had had a shard of credibility, they would have lost the last remaining bits while they were serving up their scare-avan lies in their role as Trump's private/state (quasi-public?) media.

Actually, more people have stopped listening to the Democrats feeble attempt to foolishly think they can indoctrinate to the masses that what they see in Mexico and along the border is just a figment of their imagination, no one believes that crap. These people are singing past the grave. The people were rightfully worried about the caravans as was Mexico and the border patrol made 32 arrests just the other day. Mexico doesn’t want them and who could blame them.

Do you fear-driven conservatives feel safe now?

What a bunch of crock. That’s the liberal narrative that they always like to spin.

Nope.

And the idiots have flocked to Fox "News" for indoctrination.

Because “credible fear” is the magic word they are given by activist immigration lawyers at the border.

That claim cannot be substantiated.

What can be substantiated is that Honduras is a very scary place, and people are leaving it for good reason. What can also be substantiated is that the fear of these people by some Americans has largely been instilled by the Trump administration and its propaganda wing, Fox News.

I agree that there's something wrong when people from Honduras end up seeking asylum in the U.S. rather than in Mexico. There should be a way for the United States to work together with Mexico and other Central American countries to work on a better way to deal with migrants and also to alleviate the underlying problems that have led to this mess. The legal framework to deal with asylum should be modified, I think. However, the Trump administration's heavy-handed and anti-humanitarian approach is both stupid and wrong. You shouldn't punish the weak because of a weak system.

I agree.

and people are leaving it for good reason.

Again, I agree, but we can’t take everyone from every country just because they feel their country is dangerous, these people need to fight for their country, imagine what happens to their country of origin if everyone leaves. You will have complete and total energy and a breakdown of the social order of that country and you’re looking at having a potential Somalia rise up from the ashes. No one wants that, believe me.

What can also be substantiated is that the fear of these people by some Americans has largely been instilled by the Trump administration and its propaganda wing, Fox News.

Unlike the Previous administration that used its propaganda wing CNN to hoodwink people that illegal aliens don’t pose a threat to the country financially, economically and socially when that has been debunked too many times to count. Please don’t make this political debacle.

I agree somewhat, but I agree you have to take a very hardline, even Mexico is doing that and good on them, they realize and know the region and know that there are many criminals and gang member embedded in with these mostly undocumented workers, let’s cut through the BS, most of these people are men and it would serve them better to go back, fix their country of origin, fight back and go back home. It doesn’t help the country to import poor people on a massive scale, you want to attract people with a set of employable skills, and people that can help this country prosper and not financially ruin it. The cost alone to help these people would reacclimate themselves to this country which many don’t want to do.

A naked assertion that smacks of being false. Obama deported more undocumented immigrants than any other modern president. Since you seem to think the nonsense you just made up was debunked numerous times, how about some cites?

Not every guy is as tough, streetwise, and intelligent as you. ROFLMAO!

A naked assertion that smacks of being false.

Oh, because liberals think so....ok...

Obama deported more undocumented immigrants than any other modern president.

And Trump is doing that and trying very hard to deport more, but the open borders Democrats want to keep the borders open, want to keep chain migration and want to keep the visa lottery program, if so, then there is NO way on earth that they can have a functioning immigration system. I know they want to beef up their numbers politically, but they need to think a putting the country and the security of the country first before politics.

Since you seem to think

Not seem to think, know

how about some cites?

Everywhere along the porous US border and Tijuana especially see it equally as a big problem, sorry, can’t debunk that one try as you guys might.

Bass:. I would call that a strong win for blocking an invasion attempt.

Nive. Are we handing out medals for those who stopped the invasion of America? War is hell, after all.

"Did I miss the invasion? Did we win or lose?"

It's an ongoing battle with the Democrats. This is fascinating:

It's an ongoing battle with the Democrats. This is fascinating:

Heh, they were just showing his petulance on the news! "If I don't get what I want, I'm going to get angry" he says, while stomping his feet like an angry child.

And this person is president. What a joke. How pathetic.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Oh, because liberals think so....ok...

No, because it doesn't accord with the facts, which you seem to be allergic to.

Democrats aren't for open borders and don't use non-citizens to "beef up their numbers." It would be nice of you argued issues as they are in reality instead of constantly dishonestly representing issues.

Not seem to think, know

Yet can't provide one cite to support your position.

Everywhere along the porous US border and Tijuana especially see it equally as a big problem, sorry, can’t debunk that one try as you guys might.

Yet again we get a hyperpartisanship rant instead of a cite. That speaks for itself.

U.S. border authorities fielded 92,959 "credible fear" claims — the initial step toward asylum — in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, up 67 percent from 55,584 the previous year. The "credible fear" claims accounted for 18 percent of all people arrested or stopped at the Mexican border in the latest period, up from 13 percent a year earlier.

Commissioner Kevin McAleenan noted that most asylum claims are ultimately unsuccessful in immigration court and he renewed the Trump administration's call for Congress to address "these vulnerabilities in our immigration system." Judges granted asylum in 21 percent of their cases in the 2018 fiscal year.

The illegal aliens from Honduras, now in Mexico, are being coaxed by immigration lawyers from the U.S.. If using the term "credible fear" is more likely to get more illegal aliens out of Mexico and into the U.S., unscrupulous/left-leaning/socialist immigration lawyers are more likely to recommend that ploy.

The Democrat Party is more interested in protecting illegal aliens than they are in protecting U.S. citizens. That's why the voters gave control of both houses of Congress, and the WH, to the Republicans. The Democrats concentrated their so-called blue wave on winning the House. The blue wave crashed harmlessly on the shores of the Senate.

If only the Democrats had some way of increasing the numbers of Democrat voters in red states. Democrat voters who think they owe allegiance to the political party which helped them sneak into the U.S.. If Hondurans have a legitimate "credible fear" claim of returning home, they should be happy to stay in Mexico.

There is no invasion attempt.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Toasted Heretic - There is no invasion attempt.

Tell that to the people of Tijuana who currently have to deal with the illegal alien invaders from Honduras.

Tell that to the people of Tijuana who currently have to deal with the illegal alien invaders from Honduras.

They are migrants, not invaders or criminals. This is not the 1930s, despite all the ugly language from that era raising its head again.
