Clashes, arrests at anti-Islam protest in England

It's members have chanted anti-Muslim slogans? This must be the worst crime for this politically corrected nation. And made Nazi salutes. This must be the second worst crime in Britain. Why are the British so racist? I can't understand it.

Well its not like people in Muslim nations would be too pleased with masses of Christian immigrants flooding into their countries.

If you watch some of these protests on YouTube you will see that it is usually these so-called "anti-fascists" who commit most of the violence at these protests. They not only attack the "fascists" they also throw rocks and bottles at the police. They're worse than the anti-globalism rioters, just anarchists and hooligans. I don't know why they aren't banned in Britain or at least infiltrated and tracked by domestic intelligence.

And we do want our country back - trouble is the British police are now the the armed wing of the Labour Party who are determined to rub our noses in multi-culturalism.

I think the English Defence League has been set up by the government as a honey trap for people who have thoughts and opinions which differ from the government line.

You can be sure that everyone on that march will now have their details on a government database. At some point in the future they will be arrested to demonstrate the folly of free thinking and freedom of expression in the police state that the UK has become.

Don't forget, expecting, and demanding the same rights and privileges enjoyed by their neighbors. Maybe everyone should just ban proselytizing Islam. Make it punishable by an automatic jail term, in isolation so they can't preach their religion, followed by expulsion to a majority Muslim country. That would be similar to Saudi Arabias laws, but oh so much nicer.

This is incoherent. Islam and nazism are natural allies; you can not be for one and against the other.

It's rather silly how Muslims would demand Christians to allow them to observe their religion and customs in a predominantly Christian soil, while Christians cannot request the same liberties in a Muslim country.

Actually the Swiss are incredibly conservative. This is a country that didn't grant women suffrage until 1971, I believe.

Tolerance should beget tolerance, I agree, and the Muslims at one time did allow non-Muslims free practice as long as they payed their taxes, didn't evangelize, or in any way try convert Muslims. They were far more tolerant than say Europe in the not so recent past. But seeing how they have been treated by Judeo/Christian countries recently... well one can see how tolerance is so easily lost.
