She just single handily lost the election all by herself. Kaine and unable.

The President of the United States of America should represent a broad spectrum of American society - and also should lead - and a problem with leadership is that, if you're too far ahead, nobody follows. Hillary learned that with her and Bill's failed healthcare plan during his first term, a failure that almost killed it.

I understand that progressives would prefer a VP as progressive as possible, someone like Warren. I would, too - but reality gets in the way. Kaine is a good choice because his social views (family planning, racial relationships, immigration) are as progressive as they get, and that is the direction that America is moving; his monetary tendencies (taxes, trade) are much more centrist, and that is where America is.

Kaine should do nothing to alienate Sanders supporters and do much to attract conservatives alarmed at Trump. Given the circumstances, it was a wise choice.

H

e is not going to behave like Pence who talked opposite opinion against Trump on economics. DEM wild, have quieter campaign. GOP is still mad at Cru for squashiiing their Hill, lary bashing convention.

The Bernouts must be going crazy.

It's a win win for the Wall Street bankers.

Hillary nominated: CHECK

Back-up plan selected: CHECK

Media Control: CHECK

Now all we have to do is keep calling the OTHER guy names until it sticks.

To the disappointed liberals out there: Mother Jones, the most progressive of journals, has an article entitled He's No One's Idea of a Liberal Hero, But Tim Kaine Is a Natural Fit for Clinton - a good read http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/07/tim-kaine-vice-president-hillary-clinton-virginia-senate

One thing I noted from the article is that, though Kaine has made his political career in Virginia, he's by birth and inclination from the midwest, so his inherent reactions to issues should jive well with Hillary's, who is from the same area. Incremental.

Yes folks, if you didn't see the obvious writing on the wall before you can surely see it now.

Hillary could ride on a unicorn and announce that the Dalai Lama is her VP pick, I still wouldn’t vote for her.

Tim Kaine is a good, decent, experienced man. An asset to the ticket.

Vice Presidential picks don't really move the needle too much in terms of voting.

Could not agree more. Kaine is a great pick. I am looking forward to doing my share in Colorado to win BIG!!

Generally not, but in a swing state like Virginia it could make a difference.

By picking Tom "Everything's fine" Kaine, Hillary pissed off the Bernie supporters she so desperately needs to beat Trump.

He is not going to behave like Pence who talked opposite opinion against Trump on economics.

There is a long tradition of Democratic presidential candidates posturing against free trade on the stump only to reverse themselves in office and both of these candidates fit nicely into that tradition. At least Pence didn't flip his position on the TPP and other macro trade deals hours after he was selected like Kaine. Strongly support to strongly against within a day....hmmm.....could that maybe be a signal that Hillary isn't serious on her position either ??

Crooked Hillary & Corrupt Kaine - what a team!
