I would have rather of had Clinton as president. Okay that being said, I'd rather have Hillary Clinton handling foreign affairs. There's not going to be much fruitful negotiations with Iran, unfortunately, but I'd rather have her than anybody else. She's not going to coddle these guys. < :-)

Whereas America has become a corrupt kleptocracy with a middle class standard of living that's receding faster than the Himalayan glaciers....

Clinton: Iran is becoming a military dictatorship
And yet her boss wants a sit-down with Iran without any pre-conditions.

I also read about this on BBC, but they included the following very important detail often (always?) lacking from AP articles:
"He added that efforts to rid the Middle East of nuclear weapons must also apply to Israel."
BTW, speaking of dictatorship, how well is democracy doing in Saudi Arabia?

That's so old. Come up to today.
goddog,
http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/israel/nuke/
In early 1968, the CIA issued a report concluding that Israel had successfully started production of nuclear weapons. This estimate, however, was based on an informal conversation between Carl Duckett, head of the CIA's Office of Science and Technology, and Edward Teller, father of the hydrogen bomb. Teller said that, based on conversations with friends in the Israeli scientific and defense establishment, he had concluded that Israel was capable of building the bomb, and that the CIA should not wait for an Israeli test to make a final assessment because that test would never be carried out.
Prove they don't have nukes. < :-)

"Prove they don't have nukes."
This sort of negative cannot be proven and I think you know that. That said, thinking they don't is to be wearing one's tin foil cap too tightly.
And some of you might want to realize that becoming a military dicatorship is different from already being one.

Military dictatorship?
Of course, it's always better when the U.S. installs the military dictator as we did when we helped overthrow the democratic government of Iran and installed the Shah's brutal regime.
Iran's nuclear program began back in the late 60s and 70s when the U.S. led the way in transferring nuclear technology to the country.
