On Thursday, the political action committee of the Congressional Black Caucus endorsed Clinton.

This is the kind of politicking the Clintons are quite good at. Problem is, her Team doesn't seem to have learned the lesson from the defeat at the hands of Obama 8 years ago. Sanders is a different candidate, to be sure, but this is in many ways the same fight ad 2008. The Democratic party establishment v the more left, more liberal base. In 2008, Clinton lost the black vote, and lost the primary run. She's counting on that not happeneing again, because Sanders is not Obama.

Probably, that will pay off. Probably meaning anywhere from quite likely to more than 50%.

I don't understand this strategy. Were I she, I would want much better odds than more than 50%. (Gamblers have her at much better percent chance, but still).

The main problem with Clinton is this is not 2008. The Democratic base is more liberal, more progressive, more fed up with business as usual, and we have a candidate who is talking about that loud and clear.

Just one example of how out-of-touch- her campaign can be. I got en email ('cause I donated $10 to get a H Poster) lamenting how well Sanders is doing (!) and inviting me to upcomming fundraisers in her area. Minimum seat cost $500! But you don't get a picture with her. For that, you got to pay $2700.

Need I say more?

Apparently, minorities don't look at political issues and make judgments for themselves, according to Clinton and the MSM. They are just a number on a checklist in the Clinton campaign. And, just like Clinton's terrible underestimation of how Iowa/NH would go, I think she is in for a big surprise when she tries to collect on her votes. I like Sanders because he's not so negative like Hillary.

Why are minorities in a category anyway? Unless your racist and chose to segregate them they are USA citizens.

I wonder if Hillary is stopping over in Flint Michigan AGAIN for a 15 minute speech to get some more photo-ops with the black population like she did on the day of the NH primaries?

Can't wait to get home and watch this.

@MarkG: Have you ever heard the term "identity politics?" If you haven't, then you just can't understand how the modern American Democratic Party works these days.

If you're a woman, you vote for women first and foremost, because no matter their policies, "They represent you most." That's why Clinton has Madaline Allbright out there screaming her old canard that "There's a special place in Hell for women who don't support women!" (aka Hillary.)

Similarly, if you're gay or from the South, a Hispanic, or African-American, or Asian-American, and you're a Democrat, your party expects you to do the same and vote for "one of your own" more often than not....because supposedly, "They represent you most."

And since Democrats and especially African Americans like Toni Morrison have long labeled Bill Clinton, "The First African American President," (since 1992) and since he comes from the southern state of Arkansas, well, in South Carolina that supposedly makes Hillary under identity politics, "one of our own" and she demands and expects allegiance from "her" identity groups (in this case, over-65 voters, women voters, over 200K a year income voters, Southern voters, and (honorarily) African-American voters) certainly much more than an outsider Northerner like Bernie Sanders should expect from the same system.

It'll come down to the SuperDelegates selecting the candidate that the DNC decides.

Strange that Bernie Sanders gave Winston Churchill the nod as his most admired world leader. Not that I have a problem with that, Churchill being a great man and all, but that would have been the kiss of death to the UK left. It kind of highlights indelibly right there how much further to the right the American left are. The comparisons between Sanders and that commie crank leading the UK's sinking opposition Corbyn are just simply untrue, if not almost offensive.

Mr Sanders seems to have a crazy amount of support from young voters. Interesting times, it almost seems like Clinton will be edged out by an underdog again, she must be seething.

If Black Americans are going to cast their vote for a democrat, they should support one who supports them, and that person happens to be Bernie Sanders.

There is nothing more urgent and important than education, and Bernie wants to invest in all our children by offering them the same opportunity everyone has if they do the work and that would be free college and trade schools: a barrier that has stagnated many Blacks, poor Whites and all persons of color. Investing in free secondary schooling is investing in Americans for a better America. Mrs. Clinton is an establishment democrat who wants to keep the status quo intact which has not served anyone, regardless of skin color.

The choice for democrats is not difficult. It is about who has the best interests of the entire nation at heart. . . .
