Pretty exciting. I like Sanders supporters new slogan -"feel the burn." There even seems to be a few rowdy element. We all saw what happened in Nevada.

Guys go get ur popcorn. Looks like Hillary id hobbling towards that finish line.

I don't get it - haven't the other Republican candidates dropped out? Who did Trump win against?

Sanders supporters went to the restaurant the NV chair works for, attacked her, and gave death threat. Harry Reid tried to make Sanders to stop death threat but Sanders refused all media TV channels could display the message. the restaurant closed business. Sanders said. His supporters are protesting against DNC unfairness with message and chair throwing against Nevada Dem members. Reid could not persuade Sanders to stop death threat.

Recent polling indicates Kentuckians are most concerned about healthcare! - NOT jobs or terrorism - but healthcare! --- after electing a Republican governor last fall - promising to abolish their healthcare! sigh

Supporters of Sanders tossed chairs and made death threats against the Nevada party chairwoman at the event in Las Vegas, arguing the party leadership rigged the results of the convention in favor of Clinton.

This is being reported everywhere without any video evidence. What there is a lot of video evidence of is the chairwoman completely ignoring convention voters and voting results. Now why would the media report on something there's no evidence for, and remain silent about something there's a lot of evidence for?

The majority of the mainstream media is biased against Sanders and his supporters and always has been. I hate to sound like a sore loser, but that kind of coverage has an effect on many primary voters.

Oh my bad. Nevermind. You're right, he hasn't won against anyone since Cruz flopped. Guess they're just racking up more "wins" to keep up morale.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Headline should read, "Sanders wins Oregon while Kentucky too close to call."

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Oregon has a vote by mail system so people there have been voting early and for weeks.

Smells like victory

just because candidates drop out, it doesn't mean that their names are removed from the primary ballot. that's how kasich and cruz, and all the other candidates, are still receiving votes. still a hefty 31% of republicans refuse to vote for trump.

Regardless of how many candidates are left, states still will run their primary elections, even if it's as nothing more than a rubber stamp.

Thanks Nakanoguy, that clears it up.

Wonder how much Sanders' wife bankrupting Burlington College while she was there from a large land purchase and expansion plans will have an effect of his campaign. I'm sure some will say this is what will happen to the country.

Like I said, Oregon is a mail in state. Other candidates got so many votes because those candidates were still running when the ballots were sent out to voters starting Apr 27.

Sanders clearly has momentum. Too little too late though which is a shame. The longer people get to know him the more they like him something that can't be said about Hillary.

Her calling the Kentucky race before results are known again reeks of arrogance.

http://results.enr.clarityelections.com/KY/61323/168222/Web01/en/summary.html (Massive landslide win for Rand Paul)

Democrat super delegates and delegates can switch their vote at the Democrat National Convention. If momentum (popular vote) changes the pressure to switch can and will become great. = this election is far from over.

On the other side Trump has steamrolled his competition and it is a landslide now. The Republican "pathetic alliances" are failing and many Republican leaders are turning away from the corruption. All the pathetic negative ads and media are not working.

Kentucky primary was weird, Sanders was leading by near 1,000 votes with roughly 97% counted, then Hillary gets a surge of votes to propel her into the lead. Interesting to see what county those votes came from. Sanders and his supporters will not go quietly as Hillary and DNC would prefer. Philadelphia convention better be stocking up on replacement chairs.

Sanders supporter action videos. Nevada stations showed Nevada medias are not left or right. The chair throwing scenes, all local station showed. Just like half naked girls dancing shows, there are many TV scenes that are not shown in other areas in USA. Death threatening note? Sanders people demanded to display on TV. So,, even it is not like hikers fond skeleton in desert, local TV stations showed. Not all have news but our cable channels are 400 plus local channels.

I wrote about Las Vegas area channels that has been kind to Sanders.

Dem members used their videooocoder I phones to take picks.

Now why would the media report on something there's no evidence for, and remain silent about something there's a lot of evidence for?

The death threats were very real and so vicious that Nevada officials filed a complaint with the DNC.

Kentucky was a "closed primary". Only democrats who registered before the end of 2015 were allowed to vote, Independents were not allowed to vote, and Hillary spent about $300,000 on ads, compared with about $100,000 for Sanders, giving her a huge advantage. Yet she appears to have barely beat Sanders. If Independents could have voted, Sanders might have won by 2 + percentage points. Without the pre-registration requirement, he would have won by even a larger margin.

Kentucky was not a victory for Hillary. It was a defeat for the democratic party who used every trick in the book from the start to insure Hillary will be their candidate for President. Sanders supporters can only hope Hillary gets indicted so the DNC’s plan goes down in flames with her.

Polls showed her ahead in both states by large margins just a week ago. The lessons are going to be around for a very long time. IMO what happened is that Hillary was advanced as the nominee because the party expected that she would be going against a traditional or legacy candidate like Jeb Bush which would have been a much more even fight.

"Sanders pointed to polls that show him in a stronger head-to-head matchup against Trump than Clinton."

Doesn't matter that Hillary is tied with Trump in the polls, is in the pocket of Wall Street and has an indictment hanging over her head, the Democrats want their beloved Hillary.

There are two Las Vegas City channels beside local and national news channels that sent crews to convention. All of them took video of invader throwing chairs but reluctant to telrvise but Sanders campaign workers demanded to televise. Then they wanted to arrange showing of death threat note. That is why we could read death threat note letter by letter.

Boy, this Sanders dude just continues to be the fly in the ointment, the monkey in the wrench and the pain in the ass for Hillary!

Trump's suing TheOnion for their hilarious "Admit it: You want to see how far this goes, don't you?" article, hee hee:

"... And might I remind you that the longer this goes on, the closer I get to selecting a running mate. That realization kind of delighted you in a way, didn’t it? You absolutely want to know who I’d pick. A defeated GOP challenger who hates my guts? Another lunatic billionaire? Maybe my own son, Donald Trump Jr.? Whatever your wildest expectation is, I promise you I will surpass it."

Hee hee!

Nobody threw a chair. People were screaming "take your seats!!" So he did. The MSM will lie every time to protect their corporate war mongering slob Hillary.

Hillary won KY. @fizz: You have to ask Sanders. He was living on her income. He became too old to live as ziggoros, he became a senator.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Hillary won KY.

Sanders has until May 31st to seek a recount in Kentucky. It was "that" close. He should. Just to trip up Hillary as she hobbles toward the finish line.

Heh-heh . . .Its good to see Sanders / Clinton bickering. Now there is some discontentment among the (D). They've just stolen the limelight from Trump and the (R).

Agree with you there, Wc - it IS good to see real debate on the Dem side over issues that will guide America over the next half-century. I for one am glad to see the Bern keep on burnin' - though I differ on him with political strategy, I agree with his long-term goals, and he has been very useful at stimulating the debate and energizing the party as a whole.

The fact that Hillary "let's shut down coal!" Clinton could tie Sanders in a coal state is a victory in itself. Sanders restricts himself in his messaging, but then, that is a luxury of an insurgent campaign. Coal is dead, no matter what incentives or prohibitions are set by government; it simply cannot compete with more modern forms of energy, and forward-looking people in coal country understand this. (California now derives far less than 1% of its electricity generation from coal.)

I hope Sanders continues, but also that he begins to prepare his supporters for a Clinton candidacy. They share the same goals, but by different paths.

Last night, there was a gunshot sound in Sanders' Nevada office A Window pane had a hole and glasses were shattered on outside. Investigators could not find bullet inside and concluded no one was outside shooting.

Here's an amuture video of CNN and wolf blitzer scrubbing 5000 votes off of Sanders's total in Kentucky. Not sure yet why it happened but ole MSM lackey Blitzer didn't even bat an eye at the the disappearing 5000 votes. Amazing.

Like handing out more "free" EBT Cards? Or pushing for Trannies and their "rights"? Or even better -Gun Control- when all those using them (illegal immigrants included) in crimes are the ones grabbing those EBT Cards.

The Blacks & Hispanics supporting the Dem side and thrashing police vehicles on national TV.

They share the same goals, but by different paths.

More like overlapping Ven Diagrams of goals. See convenient chart here:

http://www.businessinsider.com/hillary-clinton-vs-bernie-sanders-on-the-issues-2015-9

In total, excluding the culture war piffle and questions of federalism (centralization of power), Sanders is a lefty (socialist, internationalist) and HRC is a centrist (mixed economy like Germany, not Sweden, and a hawk).

As for me, I'm with Sanders/FDR/LBJ/Hamilton on the economy and Clinton/Obama/FDR/Truman on America's place in the world.

Here's an amuture video of CNN and wolf blitzer scrubbing 5000 votes off of Sanders's total in Kentucky.

I heard that the votes of Pike County had all been zeroed out due to a card reader error which put Clinton ahead by 1 percent but once they were recovered she is back at a .5 lead. A recount is probably not likely since it wouldn't change the delegate numbers.

You're all over the place. Multiple-Personality Disorder? Tell us how you really feel about the US-Mex border and illegal immigration. People getting / expecting "free" shit. Radical Islam. Our military and Vets. How about the trannies? Or the BLM vs Police?

Why can't I find any chair throwing videos online? In this day and age, we don't need to rely on news stations for video when everyone has a smartphone.

And how many news stations are talking about the chairwoman calling votes for the "ayes" when the "nays" were clearly louder? There's ample video of that online. I think the establishment obstructing true democracy is a more important story than couple imaginary chairs being thrown.

The mainstream media is part of the establishment and the owners of the news organizations stand to lose if it's dismantled. There are still some honest journalists within the mainstream media, so I'm not saying we should ignore it completely. Just view it with that background information in mind.

@Bum:do you live in Vegas area in Clark County? Cox cable and other cable TV network serve residents. News like that, we watch but we cannot give out to other people as there is a law called copy protection, but you can watch clicking remote controller to get desired channels. Just subscribe. If you have many TVs, all can be connected with one subscription. I think it is only $ 5,000 a year. That is how we get to see chair throwing, scenes while waiting new TV ads by Dem. I think you can pay monthly. Cheap now. You can connect to your computer and copy on a file and save in hylur flash drive if you want to watch later.just use channel switcher to see any channels. You can select other languages by selecting language buttons. Good lick.
