For those of you who like to claim that what Trump did was legal, and thus ok: It's also legal to be a racist in this nation. You can also discriminate as much as you want, so long as you find a 'legal' excuse to do so. In some States, they've legalized racism and discrimination. It's also legal to rip off other people's money by creating a fake University. It's legal to hide all your money in the Bahamas. It's legal to get money from the Russian mob, and to promise them that you'll take care of them, wink, wink. All of this is legal.

Yep, Trump is legal. He's just a corrupt, racist, coward. That's all. He should just admit that, and show his returns to prove his point. He's legal, but perhaps not a worth a whole lot as a human being.

23 ( +25 / -2 )

To the people who think Trump is a genius, how do you feel about paying money for a worthless degree from Trump U? Does it make you feel better that you were stiffed by a genius?

To the people who think Trump is not part of, and is fighting the 'establishment' (of which he's a born into member), how do you feel about investing in his bankrupted casinos? Were you able to afford an army of lawyers and accountants to write off your losses like Trump the genius?

To the people who think Trump is a genius, which international financiers do you think he's in the owe to for trying to bail him out of his ongoing financial problems?

To the people who think Trump is a genius, do you really think it's smart or even good business to NOT pay smaller businesses for goods and services contracted for because you're able to afford big, bullying law firms to intimidate little guys who can't afford legal fees?

Genius is an overused word; anyone who actually thinks Trump is a genius is probably confusing that word with lyingconartist.

19 ( +20 / -1 )

Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani called him “a genius at how to take advantage of legal remedies that can help your company survive and grow” on ABC’s “This Week.”

To the people who think Trump is a genius, like Giuliani here, for working the system to get out of paying taxes I also never want to hear you complain about the people who are on welfare and finding loopholes in the system to raise and take care of their families.

Trump should be made to release his tax returns.

17 ( +20 / -3 )

I can't believe that the choice comes down to these two.

A loud mouthed idiot who spouts off before he thinks or a congenital liar.

I can't believe people are still giving credence to the faults of these two being equivalent.

Clinton may have her problems, but on her worst day, she's still infinitely better than Trump.

15 ( +17 / -2 )

The words "genius" and "Trump" in the same sentence should cause people to spit out their food or drink and break into uncontrolled laughter.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

I expect Trump to go down in flames now. How can a man who hasn't paid taxes, even if legally, be fit for a job which relies entirely on taxes being paid? It's utterly disgraceful that the Republican party let this joke become their presidential candidate. Didn't they see this coming?

14 ( +18 / -4 )

Did Hillary just admit to being stupid?

No.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

Trump will use loopholes and find ways to make jobs.

Actually, according to the information available, it seems Trump has successfully used loopholes to find ways that people lost jobs.

Trump is going to win, look at all the polls peoples.

I've been looking at the polls, but I don't see what you're seeing. Perhaps you could specifically show us?

And as mentioned in the article above, 'The Trump Foundation' isn't registered to fundraise in NY state and has been ordered to immediately stop. WTF? Just one more illegal thing he's been doing to add to the list.

We've heard plenty about the Clinton Foundation, I think it would be very interesting to learn a bit more about the Trump Foundation, its donations to Republican attorney generals, its unauthorised fundraising and goodness knows what else.

SerranoOCT. 04, 2016 - 12:06PM JST Assuming Clinton makes it to the next debate, watch Trump tear into her on her myriiad of scandals.

LO... no, it's more of a derisive smirk although there isn't a suitably catchy abbreviation for that. Well, I bet you'd be striking a very different tone if it had been Trump with pneumonia, and taking a very dim view of anyone who mocked him for his health problems. "Myriad of scandals?" Well, there's the emails, Libya, the marital situation, the Clinton Foundation. That's four and I suspect that a trained lawyer and seasoned debater will be more than capable of preparing to address them. Now... how about Trump's $916 million loss and $50 million a year tax write-off, his continual business losses, his affairs, his record of misogynist remarks about women including Alicia Machado, The Apprentice contestants, Paris Hilton ("that sex tape probably made her better"), Trump University lawsuits, inflammatory remarks about Mexicans, friendship with paedophiles (Jeffrey Epstein - "a terrific guy, lots of fun to be with"), illegally spending $68,000 on trips to Cuba, the Trump Foundation and everything to do with it... that looks a bit more like a "myriad" to me.

Maybe the "experienced up the wazoo" Secretary Clinton should have spent more time thinking about the decisions she made that cost many people their lives before making them and then making the right decisions. But that's just me.

Running a bit short of things to say about her, by the look of things... isn't that one just a bit re-cycled?

That reminds me of this Youtube comment:

Good you brought it up, I think everyone else had probably forgotten it.

"Nice job Americans for voting Hillary over Sanders... you're all ( effed )."

That's definitely re-cycled.

From a tax perspective, the NOL claim is legally permitted and not such a controversy from a legal perspective.

What is a controversy is that he lost so much money and is not the businessman everyone makes him out to be. In the bankruptcy, the banks took it easy on him by allowing him $450,000 per month in living expenses, but everyone else (the common workers and other investors) got nothing.

Trumph also makes it a controversy by deflecting and saying he pays other taxes. Uhh, so Bill Gates shouldn't pay taxes because Microsoft pays a corporate tax or real property taxes. Trumph's deflections show how he thinks, and it isn't pretty.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

There are two issues with Trump and taxes:

1) If he wins, he's going to be president for a maximum of 8 years. He will be a businessman again after that, and his kids will be business(wo)men both during his presidency, as well as after it. He has way more personal motivation to not change the tax scheme away from his favor, than he has motivation to change it away from his favor.

2) He's made some pretty harsh tweets (the guy loves twitter doesn't he) about people not paying taxes:

@BarackObama who wants to raise all our taxes, only pays 20.5% on $790k salary. http://t.co/bqF26mQf Do as I say not as I do.

The end of that tweet is ironic, considering these recent relevations.

HALF of Americans don't pay income tax despite crippling govt debt... http://t.co/gDAUj0Kt

Looks like Trump is criticizing himself now

Facebook billionaire gives up his U.S. citizenship in order to save taxes. I guess 3.8 billion isn't enough for (cont) http://t.co/xaPBfxlm

I guess he thinks the guy should have stayed and paid no taxes instead

@conservativeJT: @bluejoni @realDonaldTrump Trump is an American that will pay more taxes in one year than you pay in your entire life.

Oh yeah? Seems pretty doubtful now.

@DenZen: Successful people work their asses off to make it, only to be punished by heavy taxes which are then squandered recklessly.

Was he calling himself unsuccessful?

If @amazon ever had to pay fair taxes, its stock would crash and it would crumble like a paper bag. The @washingtonpost scam is saving it!

Fair taxes you say?

You know what is the worst part of @BarackObama's Tuesday speech playing class warfare--we paid for it with our tax dollars.

We? I think not. You weren't part of that group.

Trump IS the Republican party.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Judging by Trumps mismanagement of Trump Foundation funds it would be interesting to see a full breakdown of the losses as well as his complete tax returns. If he hasn't released them at this point it's safe to say he believes releasing them is worse than the spot he is in now.

Last I checked Hillary Clinton lied to the FBI and jeopardized national security. Come on Hillary supporters! Dare you to defend her!

The FBI said she was innocent of any crimes. But yes her use of email lead to the USA being attacked by hijacked planes that were flown into buildings. Check that, this happened under Bush who let the USA be attacked in the biggest security lapse since the bombing of Pearl Harbor. No outrage there from the right wing trolls. Much ado about nothing with Clinton. You main man Christy did the same thing with his mail server as Hillary along with many, many other republican officials. And yet you dare to defend them?

All republicans do is repeat stupid lies. It is like their profession really. And they do so often they then nominate an extreme liar to be Presidential candidate. Lies lead to liars. Franken was so right with his book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them." Of course Franken is smart and the lying liars are not.

@Strangerland

You replied to Bertie stating, "I can't believe people are still giving credence to the faults of these two being equivalent. Clinton may have her problems, but on her worst day, she's still infinitely better than Trump."

I agree with you that Ms. Clinton is better qualified than Trump to hold the office of the President. She has actual foreign affairs experience as Sec. of State. She also is much better at containing herself (she is not as easily baited as Trump). On the other hand, I think people need to remember that some people are not making a comparative statement when they indicate they are disappointed that out of the entirety of the U.S. this is all we have. I also see you acknowledge Ms. Clinton has problems as well. Some of her issues concern me.

That said, I still do agree with Bertie; it is not good that out of all people eligible to run for President we are left with these two.

Regarding Trump's taxes. He should release his recent tax returns. I would prefer to see those. Carrying losses forward is legal and it is in the tax code and I am not sure I agree with Ms. Clinton's statements on this as I actually think the real dirt exists in his recent tax returns. It speaks volumes if he does not release them prior to the election.

Finally, not sure what Assange has up his sleeve but tomorrow should be interesting. Not sure how I feel about him personally but his leaks have generally been accurate. I do not like Clinton but I hope nothing awful comes out as the thought of Trump as President scares the s&%t out of me. My biggest concern, by far, was highlighted in the last debate where he was so easily baited. This trait would be dangerous if he is in the White House.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/trumps-tax-mystery-points-toward-the-dealings-around-his-rst-bankruptcies/2016/10/03/6e217ba4-8975-11e6-bff0-d53f592f176e_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_trumptaxes-745pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory

In 1995, Donald Trump was in the midst of a spending spree. He had recently bought a 727 jet for personal use, added a skyscraper to his Manhattan real estate portfolio and snapped up properties in Telluride, Colo., and Palm Beach, Fla., financial records show.

That same year, he said he had negative $916 million in “federal adjusted gross income,” a claim that gave him the prospect of avoiding federal income taxes for years to come.

So how could he be thriving and avoiding taxes at the same time?

That’s the central mystery behind the state tax documents filed in New York by Trump for 1995 and disclosed this weekend by the New York Times.

wtfjapanOCT. 04, 2016 - 06:15PM JST Trump is trying to play the "buddy buddy" card with Putin because he know Russia is one of the few countries that doesnt fear the US and can basically say F off and the US can do nothing about it. LOL

From the BBC about the letter given to Trump about his dodgy Foundation:

"Friday's letter directed the foundation to provide the legal documents required of charities that solicit donations from the public, including audited financial statements and annual financial reports, within 15 days.

"The failure immediately to discontinue solicitation and to file information and reports" with the charities bureaus "shall be deemed a continuing fraud upon the people of the state of New York", Mr Sheehan wrote.

Mr Schneiderman's office has reportedly been investigating the Donald J Trump Foundation since at least June when it formally questioned a 2013 donation to a group backing Republican Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The $25,000 payment came at a time when Mrs Bondi's office was reportedly considering whether to open a fraud investigation into Trump University. The fraud investigation never happened, though Mrs Bondi denies the decision was influenced by the donation she received.

The Washington Post also reported this month that Mr Trump used more than $250,000 of foundation money to settle lawsuits that involved his businesses. "

Come on Trump supporters! Dare you to defend him!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

If the Post article is right that leaves far more questions than answers.

It looks like Trump may indeed be a tax evader - whilst he certainly made that gargantuan billion dollar loss, it would seem the debt simply disappeared - something most of us are going to find hard to believe.

It was no error that 1995 was the leaked year that is for sure....

What in the name of snorting ROFLs is a "bogus fictitious lie"? Does that mean it's not a lie?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

And the funky left making that bogus fictitious lie about Trump doing coke when it was an audio mic decompression problem.

You're right, it's probably a lie. But I've got it on good authority that he actually was doing a lot of coke. Me? I don't know, but I'm just hearing that he was doing a lot of coke. You know, that's what people are saying.

We never got any answers about Hillary and her emails or servers

Sure we did. The FBI investigated it deeply.

or any of her speeches made public.

Why would she make private speeches public?

How do you make over a billion dollars as a public servant for just speaking???

Hillary is only worth $30 billion. And the speeches she made were as a private citizen, not a public servant, so your question is loaded with lies from start to finish.

A trip down memory lane. Last February in a CNN interview, Trump expressed bewilderment at why he was being audited:

The one problem I have is that I'm always audited by the IRS, which I think is very unfair. I don't know, maybe because of religion, maybe because of something else, maybe because I'm doing this, although this is just recently. ... Well, maybe because of the fact that I'm a strong Christian, and I feel strongly about it and maybe there's a bias.

Pressed on this by an incredulous interviewer (incredulous obviously both due to the accusation that Christians are targeted by the IRS and that Trump is at least known as an adherent to that religion), Trump responded:

Well, you see what's happened. You have many religious groups that are complaining about that. They've been complaining about it for a long time.

Uh, Don, I don't wanna call you stupid or anything, but maybe claiming a $916 million loss had something to do with it.

The peoples source besides Hannity and others, common sense an understanding of working in the public service and the lack of transparency, those sources.

As I thought, you have no true source, only rhetoric.

You can believe that garbage if you like, most people don't, that's mine and other peoples opinion.

Ahh! A true Trumpster! You're even mimicking your messiah by resorting to using unsubstantiated phrases like "most people" as some sort of official verification of your personal opinion. Regarding "opinions", I'll just refer to the well-worn adage, "Opinions are like rectums... everyone has one and they all stink." As far as my comment about Trump being the only billionaire, I must admit that I'm taking a leap of faith here that Trump at least has SOME of the money he claims he has. I gave the source of my data (unlike you) and so even though I doubted he was worth even THAT much, it was the amount listed so it was what I quoted. I did not rely on my personal opinion. You should try it.

Sure they did and they also made a career at making millions by....ahem...speaking ROFL.

Is there something wrong with making money by speaking in front of audiences? Motivational speakers have been doing that for decades. Tony Robbins has a 2016 net worth of $480 million and while only part of that worth comes from speaking engagements, it's still a major source of income for him. It seems to get your goat that a former U.S. Senator and Secretary of State can charge significant speaking appearance fees. Even Trump would be quick to point out that if the fees requested were outrageous, Clinton would not have been invited to speak. Supply and demand. The price will adjust to match the demand. Always has and always will.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

bass: so what's the justification at letting her slip the noose?

Most of that stems from the investigations the FBI and Republicans have done where they found nothing to prosecute for. You can read them if you want. I think not putting the noose on someone with no conviction is pretty ordinary for our justice system.

You might remember the FBI because during the investigation you gushed how impartial and incorruptable they were. When they released their report and it was different from what your fringe media promised, you instantly flipped a switch and brought in an unsubstianted conspiracy theory, and thats where you are at now. I don't think I have any duty to assist with your frustration over being duped.

Trump, on the other hand, is refusing to release his tax returns as Clinton and previous presidents have done. You and others support Trump keeping you in the dark, even with serious questions. Most people would probably describe that as "slipping the noose" since your policy denies an investigation of your guy entirely.

Now, to wrap this up, give me some bombastic freak outs about Obama, a couple of wuddabouts, something about public life speeches that no one understands, and then let's move on.

Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, is the very definition of why lawyers can comfortably morph/cross over into the world of mainstream politics.

A Wellesley College, naturally gifted student politics debater with the ambition to rise to senior class president. Near on half a century of honing/unpinning the requisite skills that encompass the ability to master their art. All necessary to maintain composure under pressure, displaying unwavering confidence essential for public speaking that proves Clinton, is a politician at the top of her game.

Every time Clinton unpalatably slides into evasive deceitfulness, Clinton has dispassionately fallen back on a lawyers ability to present argument under the intense fire of media scrutiny, ultimately sliding under the radar, even when being grilled by fellow politicians.

Certainly Clinton is infinitely better than Trump.

However Clinton validation as commander in chief, ultimately tested within the cauldron of global geo politics characterized by genocide in Syria, and fragrant acts of criminal disrespect for international law in the South China Sea has yet to be proven.

Can commentators honesty present a case, with evidence that Clinton can match the political chicanery of President Putin, or the fragrant duplicity of Xi Jinping?

For the US electorate, is Clinton, out of a dysfunctional political landscape the only default to Trump on offer?

Mr Trump is deeply in debt to the Russian gangster Putin. And dodgy Chinese banks. Trump's murky financial dealings are a national security issue, he should be forced to disclose them immediately.

Did you feel the same when Obama was trying to get all fuzzy with Fidel and Raoul or the Mullahs?

When extreme rightists offer up deflections like this it gives me hope because it's obvious they know there's a problem with their candidate and also with their reasoning. In this case the problem is Trump owes hundreds of millions of dollars to international financiers.

The partisan extremist knows he can't defend his party's candidate this time. He can't use reason to defend Trump's actions nor provide plausible explanations for them. Instead he deflects, a sure sign he's doubting, questioning his previous beliefs. He knows there's a problem.

Being able to recognize there's a problem is usually the first step in finding ways to solve it. I'm feeling fuzzy all over.

According to the news Mr. Trump claimed a large loss on his income tax. Under the tax laws isn't this amount deductible from taxes? and perhaps that is why no tax was paid. Were the losses incurred over a period of time . . . and reported only for that year? Perhaps to be forgiven?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Simply, Clinton could wipe the state clean, set a president, pun intended, release where appropriate to protection of national security, all the emails. Declare all offshore/international donations to the Clinton Foundation. Make a cast iron promise to close the tax loopholes on a multilateral global agreement/declaration.

Promote unreservedly inclusive open government. Present a policy of unwavering leadership to challenge both the Governments of Russian Federation and People's Republic of China.

In return the electorate must understand Clinton fallibility in reflection to life experiences over six decades as embraced by Thomas Hobbes moral and political philosophy, especially ajudgment of ethics and human nature. In short start afresh.

Bertie...I would tend to agree with you on that one. The Shadow Government needs a representative (or representatives). The world is run by money, corporations, etc. which pull the strings of both parties.

The song "Union Sundown" by Bob Dylan explains well the way the world works and can be applied above and beyond the intent of the song.

Well, you know, lots of people complainin’ that there is no work I say, “Why you say that for When nothin’ you got is U.S.–made?” They don’t make nothin’ here no more You know, capitalism is above the law It say, “It don’t count ’less it sells” When it costs too much to build it at home You just build it cheaper someplace else

I think Hillary Clinton will be OK as president. Most modern day candidates weren't around long enough nor exposed enough in national politics to be dragged through the mud like Hillary has been. She is probably not as bad as they make her out to be and she has some very relevant experience. We have had back-to-back 2-term presidents with hardly any experience and the painful consequences are plain to see.

Trump’s Tax Leak to the New York Times Caused an Unexpected Ripple Effect of Smart People Explaining Taxes to Their Dumb Friends

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

They are both terrible choices, but it's funny how many people don't understand that not paying taxes does not necessarily indicate deceit, fraud, or any kind of illegal activity.

A man bragging that he had PAID almost a billion in taxes would indicate he was a good businessman. Trump may not be that (I don't know) but the fact that he may not have paid taxes for several years because of a newly billion dollar loss doesn't upset me in any way. It doesn't reduce his character in my eyes (except that I doubt his claims of being a good businessman). That being said, I will not vote for him. And THAT being said, I will not vote for Hillary either.

The FBI said she was innocent of any crimes.

Comey NEVER said, she was innocent.

But yes her use of email lead to the USA being attacked by hijacked planes that were flown into buildings. Check that, this happened under Bush who let the USA be attacked in the biggest security lapse since the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

If Clinton wouldn't have gotten cold feet in 1998 maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

No outrage there from the right wing trolls.

In that regard, the anger definitely falls on Bubba's lap

Much ado about nothing with Clinton. You main man Christy did the same thing with his mail server as Hillary along with many, many other republican officials. And yet you dare to defend them?

So they're all running NOW for the highest office in the land?

All republicans do is repeat stupid lies.

Both are guilty of this, it's just Democrats are much, much better at it. Hillary is the biggest con artist EVER. Comey took a complete dive in order not to have the guilt and stigma of hauling off a presidential candidate and tipping the election, he would have never wanted that burden on his shoulders, that's why he ruled the way he did. It's obvious, we all get it. People are sick and tired of this woman who is a public servant and used tax payer money to amass billions, lying to people and taking money from foreign leaders with shady human rights records. Amazing!

It is like their profession really. And they do so often they then nominate an extreme liar to be Presidential candidate. Lies lead to liars. Franken was so right with his book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them." Of course Franken is smart and the lying liars are not.

You mean, the people did, NOT the establishment, they hate Trump. You're quoting now Al Franken? Why not quote Matt Damon? LOL

Most of that stems from the investigations the FBI and Republicans have done where they found nothing to prosecute for. You can read them if you want.

They did, but as long as the FBI won't ask for an indictment and the DOJ won't issue one and you have a liberal presidential candidate being protected by a Democratic president, any logical person would conclude that any hope of getting an indictment is next to zero!

You might remember the FBI because during the investigation you gushed how impartial and incorruptable they were.

Many of us thought that, but many Americans thought Obama would be somewhat decent as well, but now we're in the ditch and in bigger debt than before.

When they released their report and it was different from what your fringe media promised,

No one was promised anything, Comey took a dive, we get why he did. I know he can't stand Hillary, maybe I would have done the same. I want to enjoy my life after retirement and not have to either look over my shoulders, give constant speechs on why I let her off the hook. I get it, doesn't mean what he did was ethical.

you instantly flipped a switch and brought in an unsubstianted conspiracy theory, and thats where you are at now. I don't think I have any duty to assist with your frustration over being duped.

Liberals are the last people on the planet to talk about conspiracy theories. Lol

Teflon Don 2016!

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Well I suppose the clown socialist Democrats have to try something. Hillary is bashing trump for filling out a tax firm thecwsy 100 million Americans do, including Hillary herself. As she implies some sort of fantasy trump is evil because supposedly that money could go to help the poor, Hillary as she tosses stones in a, glass house might want to recall she squandered billions in Haitian rebuild donations, including US taxpayer money to line the pockets of friends, herself, her foundation, allies and cronies while leaving Haiti destitute. That is Hillary, just a parasite.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Sorry, bud, but Clinton's not the one crying and saying she might not attend any more debates because she can't take the criticism. As for health, don't forget it was Newt Gingrich and Hannity who got into a coughing fit while -- no joke -- talking about Clinton's coughing fit!! You can't make it up!

And the funky left making that bogus fictitious lie about Trump doing coke when it was an audio mic decompression problem. I'm still wondering when the apologies are going to come. Waiting.....

B-b-b-b-b-b-butwhatabouthillary?

Exactly or are you saying because she's Hillary, A woman, she should be exempt because the left has utter contempt for Trump. You guys, April 1st is already behind us, now let's stick to reality, just this once.

The last cry of those with absolutely no defence and no ability to answer questions. You still didn't answer any of the questions posed to you on other threads about Trump losing so much money and not paying taxes and leaving it on you instead. I know it's hard for you, though.

We never got any answers about Hillary and her emails or servers or any of her speeches made public. How do you make over a billion dollars as a public servant for just speaking??? How is that even possible?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Has HRC pledged to close the tax loopholes Trump used? Other loopholes as well which we lower income people can't even afford to find out about? Liars people say? We have a fine selection this time. When Slick Willy's back in the Lincoln Bedroom - providing it's not rented out - at least it's certain that we'll have a congenial liar in the WH to balance the congenital one. But, it depends on what "it" means, don't it now?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

All the complainers out there, you can do the same thing. No risk no reward.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

The controversy only makes Trump stronger. Only one month away for Trump to win and make the world fear US again! Bend the knee liberals, bend the knee!

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Maybe the "experienced up the wazoo" Secretary Clinton should have spent more time thinking about the decisions she made that cost many people their lives before making them and then making the right decisions. But that's just me.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Psst, hillary troops, any day now wikileaks is going to reveal some news that will probably keep you spinnin till November. Stay tuned!!

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Strangerland,

Clinton may have her problems, but on her worst day, she's still infinitely better than Trump.

Well, she's certainly more devious. The Trumpet doesn't have the brain cells to be devious, unless he's doing a Bush, pretending to be thick as a plank, but as bent as a nine bob note!

If I were American, I wouldn't vote for either of them!

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

WikiLeaks is not known for tweeting lies, and Clinton's campaign manager is refusing to deny that in reference to Julian Assange, she said, "Can't we just drone this guy?"

It's really not hard to believe Clinton would say this, though it's still somehow shocking.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Sure we did. The FBI investigated it deeply.

Comey took a dive knowing that Lynch wouldn't hand down an indictment. He did his job just short of wanting to put all it all on his shoulders to indict a sitting democratic candidate. I get it.

Why would she make private speeches public?

Why would 63% of the public even have reason to trust her?

Hillary is only worth $30 billion. And the speeches she made were as a private citizen, not a public servant, so your question is loaded with lies from start to finish.

She never left the public life. So let's take it from the top.

news that the New York real estate mogul may not have paid federal taxes for years

What Trump may not have done is not news. It is speculation.

But it is also politics, and if Trump were smarter he'd address the speculation and then refocus on issues that matter.

Clinton mocked: “What kind of genius loses a billion dollars in a single year?”

That would be a genius who wants to legally reduce or defer taxes. People do this all over the world.

Clinton is a political master though, and even though some people understand how tax codes work, most probably do not, and it's a political winner to make Trump out to be a fool for this. And it may be that Trump is in fact a poor business man, he hasn't shown anything to indicate otherwise. Politically he is losing.

Meanwhile, apparently the US government added more than one TRILLION dollars of public debt last fiscal year, and the total will soon crack 20 TRILLION. What kind of genius is that?

“If not paying taxes makes him smart, what does that make the rest of us?”

I don't think Clinton, who charges 250,000 K for a speech, can talk on behalf of "us".

Bertie: "I can't believe that the choice comes down to these two.

A loud mouthed idiot who spouts off before he thinks or a congenital liar.

Can't you do any better than that, U.S.A?"

That reminds me of this Youtube comment:

"Nice job Americans for voting Hillary over Sanders... you're all ( effed )."

"Come on Trump supporters! Dare you to defend him!"

Check this out: "Women who know Trump defend the GOP candidate's character " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVAbUVB_9H0

Last I checked Hillary Clinton lied to the FBI and jeopardized national security. Come on Hillary supporters! Dare you to defend her!

Deflection. The NYTimes isn't running for president.

No, but they dodged taxes, how does that sit with you?

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Or Mr Trump is deeply in debt to the Russian gangster Putin. And dodgy Chinese banks. Trump's murky financial dealings are a national security issue, he should be forced to disclose them immediately.

Did you feel the same when Obama was trying to get all fuzzy with Fidel and Raoul or the Mullahs?

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Oh, and despite never ever ever ever reading your posts, I give you thumbs UP every day. I just wanted you to know that.

Lol, so that means, you do read them, good to know. I'll be there as the light and the rod.

When extreme rightists offer up deflections like this it gives me hope because it's obvious they know there's a problem with their candidate and also with their reasoning. In this case the problem is Trump owes hundreds of millions of dollars to international financiers.

What deflections are we talking about exactly?

You mean like when the wretched NYTimes failed to pay taxes?

http://regated.com/2016/10/new-york-times-pay-taxes-2014/

Apple as well. Who'd have thunk it?

The partisan extremist knows he can't defend his party's candidate this time. He can't use reason to defend Trump's actions nor provide plausible explanations for them. Instead he deflects, a sure sign he's doubting, questioning his previous beliefs. He knows there's a problem.

I think Trump should get this out of the way and while he dies that, let's move on and get out of the mud slinging liberals are so famous for and get off the partisan bandwagon.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

The lying war criminal vs. the lying shady tax evader: a script right out of Hollywood. Only problem is that there are life and (lots of death) implications for whichever is elected as the head of the US imperialist project.

-9 ( +7 / -16 )

Hillary Clinton tore into Donald Trump’s tax history, business acumen and trustworthiness

You are going about this wrong..... So he's a good business man, it's that a valid point for running a country.... How about your 30,000 missing emails... which is more illegal?

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

I can't believe that the choice comes down to these two.

A loud mouthed idiot who spouts off before he thinks or a congenital liar.

Can't you do any better than that, U.S.A?

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

Everything he did was legal. All the people crying about him not paying taxes have no knowledge about how to run or grow a business. He took advantage of all the tax loopholes and came out pretty much unscathed. On the other hand, Hillarys e-mail fiasco is clearly ILLEGAL! Yet she is protected from all her media and corporate minions that are afraid if Donald gets elected they will all be out of jobs. Hillary should never become President, she has been in stealth mode for years slowly corrupting the beautiful idea that is called America. She is a hippie gone rogue.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

Clinton campaign: “If not paying taxes makes him smart, what does that make the rest of us?”

Did Hillary just admit to being stupid?

-11 ( +7 / -18 )

I think you mean teflon Hillary. A protected criminal.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Assuming Clinton makes it to the next debate, watch Trump tear into her on her myriiad of scandals.

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

Trump is going to win, look at all the polls peoples.

TRUMP,TRUMP,TRUMP,TRUMP,USA,USA,USA,TRUMP

-18 ( +1 / -19 )

Trump knows how to get the job done!!

Back trump and make AMERICA AGAIN.

Trump will use loopholes and find ways to make jobs.
