I listened to the speech. It was composed of entire sentences -- subject, verb, object -- the whole nine yards. One sentence led intelligently into the next. There were entire paragraphs that made a coherent thought.

Compare that to Chump.

HRC is of course right. And is spending quite a bit of money and time this month driving home the point.

Trump's campaign is broke and just has to take it. Sucka.

A few more weeks, and it all will be over for Trump.

7 ( +14 / -7 )

I don't think too many Trump supporters really know or care what his economic policies are.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Trump was very successful in Atlantic City.

Yes - Trump was very successful in Atlantic City, but his casinos never were. From the beginning, they were leveraged to the hilt, and after interest payments on debt never earned a profit. His company went bankrupt six times (the last after control had been wrested from him and he was kicked off the board). The bankruptcies not only wiped out hundreds of millions in debt and assets belonging to others, they allowed Trump to pay pennies on the dollar to contractors, some of which were forced out of business. Meanwhile, Trump was siphoning off millions to save himself from non-related debts he had personally guaranteed on other, non-related projects.

Read up on this, Mark - the casinos were a scam from the beginning.

FizzBitJUN. 22, 2016 - 07:34AM JST Keep spinning Hillary, Donald will soon expose you for the war monger you are and then it's back to Goldman Sachs and the Clinton Criminal Foundation while don cuts the strings of the establishment.

I guess you're just too alternative to realise Trump's campaign finance manager was a Goldman Sachs big wig (heh, and big Hilary Clinton donor) ...

Not that Trump's campaign has much cash left to finance. Should have taken Laguna's bet, Trump may actually implode before the election.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Trump just announced that Michelle Bachmann will be on his evangelical executive advisory board, whatever that is. I just can't believe this women is not under psychiatric care.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Hillary revealed Trump's business practice better than NY Times or Washington Post.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

This goes back to the list of her being a total charlatan as well as a criminal.

But why would you think a new adjective or two would change much of anything? Are you speaking to the crowd or something?

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Wakarimasen,

No fan of The Hairdo either, but think Hillary represents the worst of the political establishment

The Hairdo represents the worst of humanity. Not even exaggerating.

all this nonsense about "if he/they win then the economy tanks" is just stupid

Everyone running for political office uses the economy as a platform in some way or another. If it's not threats of "if he/they win then the economy tanks" it's promises of "I'll bring back jobs and make the country great again." Some are more right than others.

I'm not a huge fan of Clinton either, but she's right about Trump.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

I'm going to do a big 'butwhaddabout' here:

since you're all warm and fuzzy about Hillary, maybe you ask her to hand over those SECRET speech transcripts.

Since you're all warm and fuzzy about Trump, maybe you ask him to hand over his SECRET tax returns.

2 ( +9 / -7 )

"Clinton’s address in Ohio, one of the most important battleground states, sought to define Trump as little more than a con man, whose ignorance and ego would tank the global economy, bankrupt Americans and risk the country’s future."

There's more than a little sense in that comment.

1 ( +9 / -8 )

@joshus: I like Hillary's economic talks. Comparing money handling ability, Trump is almost broke. Hilla,y knows how to handle Wall Street type people. She never tried to cheat poor people to donate her , unlike Sanders.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The scariest thing is there are still some people who believe in Trump and what he stands for. The guy is an absolute nightmare and the GOP should be ashamed of itself again (think Palin) for letting him get this far. If anything, it really shows that the education system in the US is substandard in many parts of the country. How could so many be so fooled again?

1 ( +6 / -5 )

FizzBitJUN. 22, 2016 - 04:23PM JST Apples and oranges madverts, and that was over 14 years ago. I'm not going to hire a plumber to manage my finances

From the way #trumpsopoor I'd suggest your 14 year cool cooling off period has done little for your Goldman Sachs campaign finance manager. I'd also point out your highly hypocritical position.

Yet you'd have a reality show star who's only "success" in life was to be given a fortune with which to squander?

Trump's candidacy is a joke, the product of a Republican party gone insane. Remember this November, it's not how badly he loses, it's who he sweeps out with him.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Madverts: Oh and nobody is buying that David Duke stuff. He refused to disavow. The controversy earned him some free media and some KKK votes but nobody with any honesty or integrity is going to buy your revisionism.

Trump supporters don't care. Besides, being racist is a plus in the GOP. Their strategy is to triple down on Hillary's "criminal record" and to shout it so loudly and so often that nothing else is heard.

Cue the adjectives.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

What HRC forgets to mention is that she has taken and continues to take millions from the same people who caused the 2008 financial meltdown.

I keep hearing this repeated. I haven't looked into it myself. Can you please provide some supporting evidence?

0 ( +10 / -10 )

Don't you think it's scary that the choice is going to be between Clinton or Trump? Is this some kind of nightmare, or what?

0 ( +5 / -5 )

@domtoidi... as I keep saying, we always have to end up voting for the lesser of two evils these days. American society is suffering from an illness that I don't think we'll ever get over. Well, I guess it will be over soon. We'll die from it anyways. Thank you politicians (on both sides) for your foolishness an arrogance. You could have done better but didn't.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

The Trump casinos were making millions! Trump sold when the casino's started to loose the business. He could have lost his shirt, he left at the right time. Good business judgement!

Since he can just sell his stake in the United States of America and get out of the being-president business whenever he senses things are about to turn sour (likely shortly after taking office), this experience obviously makes Trump ideally suited to the presidency.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Trump is a freak show and not fit for the office of POTUS both in terms of experience and character. Pathetic that the Republican Party not only couldn't put forth a realistic candidate but let this nutbag get this far. And yes, I agree that the scariest part of all this is that there are Americans who actually support this unqualified candidate, which in turn shows just how much of this country is truly "uneducated". So now I have no choice but to cast a vote for Hillary -the crook and liar. The only bright side to this is that China HATES Hillary with a passion, while Trump would pretty much hand the world, both economically and strategically to China, intentionally or otherwise.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Whatever you think of Trump he does recognize problems, is up front about them and corrects course in very short order

And if Trump is the problem?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Mark, the news of how much Trump has been paying himself out from campaign donations is just emerging. It's a scam, just another in a long line of scams from Trump. Pertinently, it's also quite possibly illegal.

Oh and nobody is buying that David Duke stuff. He refused to disavow. The controversy earned him some free media and some KKK votes but nobody with any honesty or integrity is going to buy your revisionism.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

And Trump will have reamed the financial crisis like all the other gazillionaires as many Americans were kicked out of their homes.

Why do you think both he and Rmoney refused to release their tax returns?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Trump had two campaign managers and both of them acted like they hated long time GOP big doners. Trump himself pretended he has two billion dollars and will spend one billion to his campaign He hired two men as managers and the guy fired do not have national campaign experience. Hillary examines contents of his speeches but Trump does not. He probably need new eyeglasses to read teleprompt but he likes barking.

Right now, Congress ha sit-in.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Super, I just don't get it buddy. Sure the idiots will always stay the same and all nations have their own yet those that seem to be capable of cognitive thought supporting Trump's insane candidacy remind me of my similar compatriots screaming in parallel for a Brexit....

It's like committing suicide because you don't like the neighbours instead of simply moving house.

All moot anyway, Trump's latest diatribe on Clinton shows how unhinged the man is. This should be fun to watch...

0 ( +1 / -1 )

They are competing which one can rip off others better. Hillary has to tell Warren to shut up in order to con centraye on world situation.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Do you think Hillary would disavow supporting the BLM

Why would she? Contrary to your belief, it's not a racist organization. This is proven by the fact that every time I've asked you to show what exactly is racist about them, you haven't had any answer whatsoever.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

http://www.allenbwest.com/analytical-economist/ridiculous-blacklives-matter-co-founder-now-says-this-is-racist

There is nothing in there that shows BLM to be racist.

So again, why would Hillary denounce an organization that is not racist?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

She (Hillary Clinton) noted that many of Trump’s products are made in countries like China, Mexico, Turkey, India and Slovenia. - Trump just created some more jobs, far, far away.

it was just yesterday a day after firing his campaign manager that Trump promised to start "doing things differently" from now on and we are seeing the fruit of that already. Lou Dobbs even made mention of more info being passed out to the press from the campaign on his show last night. Whatever you think of Trump he does recognize problems, is up front about them and corrects course in very short order.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Well Hillary "it takes a village" to expose your lies. We saw how well Bill can do it and I'd trust him more!

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

You neglect to mention Trump has not taken any money from special interest groups. HUGE difference. Especially he has not accepted monies from oppressive regimes. Some paint Trump as a KKK supporter for not denouncing David dukes support fast enough yet Hillary can accept millions of dollars from the ME oppressive regimes who are anti equality and severely punish gays!

Quite a skewed opinion against Trump for certain. So shallow of a comment from anyone making that comparison. Cognitive thinking absent.

I'm an independent and II don't support Trump in least

I am an independent who doesn't like Pepsi, but in no way could ever drink a Coke, because Coke does have a drug history, y'know, just saying.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Hillary's pretty funny, Obama and she have already bankrupted us in a manner of speaking. We have a soon to be $20 trillion debt and about a $135 trillion unfunded liability obligation. That is the progressive record. Add 95 million not working, 43 million on food stamps, a growth rate under 2% and Obamacare sending health costs through the roof and one has to conclude that many Americans are already in bankruptcy either legally or practically.

She has a lot of nerve threatening us with what Trump might do considering what she and her boss have already done.

-2 ( +10 / -12 )

@dom: Why are you scared? both of them never said they will put you in death sentence.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

we are heading to a recession regardless of who wins. Kind makes me want the dems to win so everyone can see that they aren't all knowing when it comes to the economy.

Read up on this, Mark - the casinos were a scam from the beginning

Maybe you should do some reading as well.

3 Trump Casino Executives Killed, October 11, 1989 Three casino executives who worked for billionaire real estate developer Donald J. Trump were among five people killed Tuesday afternoon in a helicopter crash in New Jersey about 40 miles north of Atlantic City. The three officials, including Trump's top two gaming industry executives in Atlantic City, were returning from New York, where they had been promoting an upcoming boxing match between junior welterweights Hector Camacho and Vinny Pazienza. The three casino executives killed were Stephen Hyde, Mark Grossinger Etess and Jonathan Benanav. The two remaining victims, who were not immediately identified, were believed to be the pilot and co-pilot of the helicopter, police said. Hyde ran Trump's two operating casinos in Atlantic City, known as Trump Plaza and Trump Castle, while Etess was going to run the Taj Mahal, the $1-billion casino and hotel that Trump plans to open in Atlantic City next April. Benanav was senior vice president of Trump Plaza, where the Camacho-Pazienza fight is to be held Feb. 3.

Losing your top three guys in one crash might have had something to do with it no? Trump is a scammer you say, so what does that make Hillary, a greedy corrupt warmonger I guess.

Crooked Hillary IS a hypocritical liar. Her speeches are boring, her energy is boring and most of all she bores a very large percent of the American population. Her new slogan should read "Bored with the details? Vote crooked Hillary"

-2 ( +6 / -8 )

"The scariest thing is there are still some people who believe in Trump and what he stands for."

Nah, the scariest thing is there are still a whole lotta people who believe in Hillary and what they think she stands for. All she really stands for is getting elected POTUS.

"Trump's candidacy is a joke," I dunno, he's done pretty well so far without the support of the GOP establishment...

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

I'm an independent and II don't support Trump in least, but Clinton gladly takes money from the same folks who tanked the economy--so what does that say about her?

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Clinton used Trump’s own statements to undercut his economic credentials, citing remarks he made that that U.S. could sell off assets, default on its debt and that wages are too high. She also repeated a comment he made that pregnant employees are an “inconvenience.”

If nothing else, Trump has provided more than enough rump to roast ad Nausea.

Sick. Too bad Cleveland. Another Trump desert, or just dessert or just desert, on and on.

That Old Trump thing? Chasing Disabled Vets or Deaconizing Duke? Please.

If Trump has only been associated with bankruptcy, how then that Trump should run a country?

Cart before the rump, that.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Clinton just rambled about on in this speech with no details and everyone loves her. She wants to raise taxes and spend on illegal immigration etc. Shell drive the debt even higher and create a government dependent society. Soon a speech will be delivered by Trump thatll destroy Clinton. She was a total thug while she was a public servant and continues to be one. The mindlessness of Clinton voters is incredible.

I wonder how many thousands of people Clinton put through school, helped to purchase houses, pay for family vacations, and put food on the table and clothes on backs? 0.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

It was Trump that initially stated that the USA was heading for a recession. It was he that also said that he can help to prevent if not improve it better than anyone else. He also blamed it on Obama for allowing "unfair" trade deals and Hillary for "selling out America" for her own personal gains.

Regardless of what they both say or who gets elected, the US economy is definitely on the decline again along with the rest of the world. Japan, China and the Euro nations which economy is tied in so closely to the US economy has not done well at all.

While the rich and wealthy got much richer and wealthier (especially those tied into drugs, armaments and communication), the economic engines of the world have not improved. When Islamic movement created disasters in infrastructure and resources by destruction and massive migration of unproductive populations in Europe, Middle East and the Mediterranean. Actual productivity declined to a point where consumption can no longer support massive overproduction by countries like China and Japan.

Other natural and man made disaster also added to the decline. Most nations are on a recovery mode much too slow for highly developed and wealthier nations to absorb, since the costs of maintenance is much too high. And further draining of funds and resources for the so called humanitarian aid by UN adds to the strain.

So both Clinton and Trump may be correct in saying a major decline or a recession may be around the corner, not just for the USA but the entire world, regardless of who becomes President. But is it only political rhetoric on the part of Clinton to accuse Trump now. She knows that it is on the way and it is better to blame Trump than herself or the Islamic mess.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

A recession is coming to the USA regardless of election outcome, after 8 years of anemic economic growth and rebound from the last recession. This is plain business cycle the next president has to deal with.

Hillary Clinton is part of the administration responsible for weak quality growth and weaker homeland security and global rise of Islamic terrorism that is becoming a bigger threat to EU citizens safety. Securing border and controlled selected immigration are necessary to minimize and mitigate ISIS penetration and prevent more deaths. Under Clinton the USA will become more and more like EU. However, liberal politicians are willing to sacrifice citizens' safety for building up more liberal voting population from immigrants and globalization ideals. Globalization has both good and bad effects. Branding people as racist for being concern of safety above political correctness does not hold water.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Trump the next US President.....democracy prevails!

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The interesting thing about liberals is their ability to deny everything, even when the non-partisan with facts, experts analysis state the exact obvious. Hillary knows the economy, of course, she's a Clinton, they know everything. Lol. Obama is right, because he is the all knowing anointed one and Hillary is his all knowing prodigy, omnipotent and flawless, which we mere mortals are. As she did a horrible job as a NY Senator and a Secretsry of State, but of course to the liberal elite, her record is not important, because as a liberal, the requirement to be an affective leader is to be a liberal. The economy, immigration, social issues, racism, scandals, it could never, ever happen to a liberal, because they are born perfect and although Hillary with her inability to have created a single job and her unwillingness to denounce a racist group clearly in the minds of the average troglodyte, she's unworthy to be president, but I'm sure the immortals would disagree. ROFL.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Here we go again. It is "all" campaign rhetoric on the part of old politicians. It is all an effort to displace and mislead the listeners away from his/her own personal failings and present the other as being worse or bad.

Did you notice that Hillary has not give out even a single personal accomplishment in any public position other than the fact that she had held the position?

Her biggest accomplishment was that she and her husband got extremely rich at the expense of the people they were supposed to have helped, the American public. Trump has said it often and she has not and cannot counter that. The public may or may not know of it because the media would not expose it. (One reason why Trump and many other politicians do not like the media.) That makes one wander why the media does not expose Clinton as they try to expose Trump?

Mistakes, failures and bankruptcies are all a learning experience for both that are and are not on the "inside" or with political and financial power to succeed. To have that experience is of major benefit for any organization, including a nation. That is called "wisdom" and not "expertise" or "knowledge" or even "certification" and "degrees" in business and life.

While I may not like the "style" he is portraying during the campaign, I can trust his judgement ability once he gets ALL of the information available to the US Congress and the President. He is working with less information than most candidates so far that had access and experience in the "inner workings" and information available.

Other politicians including Bush, Obama and the entire congress "failed" to bring the USA together as a nation because they failed to use the information and the resources available properly and wisely. Give the choices including everyone of the legislators in US Congress, I can look forward to sound decision making by Trump.

Logically and rationally, no leader like Putin, Xi, Kim, Abe or Trump would risk destroying his own country. The wealthier and stronger one's country the more powerful and wealthier the leader can expect to become. That is, unless, that leader has an ulterior motive for self-destruction such as to "redesign" the country to socialism or communism or even totalitarianism.

By the rhetoric and actual actions taken, if Sanders wanted to redesign the USA to socialism, Clinton would probably go beyond that and turn it into communism. That is exactly what Obama appears to have been doing so far by disrupting the "unity" within the country. This heated election is a result of that trend.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

I can't stand Hilary. Her public manner, her hypocrisy, her track record. No fan of The Hairdo either, but think Hillary represents the worst of the political establishment. and all this nonsense about "if he/they win then the economy tanks" is just stupid. same happening in Brexit campaigns.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

http://www.allenbwest.com/analytical-economist/ridiculous-blacklives-matter-co-founder-now-says-this-is-racist

Hillary Clinton isn't in any position or Obama for that matter to make ludicrous allegations that Trump is a racist without looking into their own racist backgrounds. I would like to know where did Hillary ever create a job or where or when did she ever hire a person for anything. What records does she have about the economy or making money? Sure, she has a record of taking money to fatten her pockets, but what else do we know about her and dealing with financial matters? Oh, silly me.....she got rid of all the HD. So I guess, we'll never know. How do you spell transparency? CRIMINAL

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Oh and nobody is buying that David Duke stuff. He refused to disavow. The controversy earned him some free media and some KKK votes but nobody with any honesty or integrity is going to buy your revisionism.

Do you think Hillary would disavow supporting the BLM or how about owning up that she violated the constitution of her office by taking foreign money? Will she ever own up to it?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Didn't the Clintons leave the White House broke? So she claimed anyway. Fools paid hundreds of thousands for speaches. What else has she done to earn money? The law practice didn't leave much evidently.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

You can't tell this croud that bass. Hillary is the next emporer with no clothes. Just like the current one. The difference is she won't be next!

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Whoa. So it's gonna be a double recession? Is she on the planet earth. She can't even admit the USA is already in a recession because that would make Obama look bad and he's got those sweet emails to idiot her on. Now play nice Hillary.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

I guess you're just too alternative to realise Trump's campaign finance manager was a Goldman Sachs big wig (heh, and big Hilary Clinton donor) ...

Apples and oranges madverts, and that was over 14 years ago. I'm not going to hire a plumber to manage my finances. But since you're all warm and fuzzy about Hillary, maybe you ask her to hand over those SECRET speech transcripts. Kind of funny actually, she guards those Goldman Sachs speeches and transcripts better than her State Department e-mails.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Hillary is in thrall to the massive corporations that are leeching the planet dry! She is a stooge,a puppet, someone that is being willingly manipulated into mass destruction! Ask the unhappy people of Libya what Clinton's meddling has done! What have Obama and Clinton done to reduce the massive waste and destruction in the US? Why does Ameica have the most pernicious war based economy?

Maybe because of puppets like Clinton maybe?

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

"Don't you think it's scary that the choice is going to be between Clinton or Trump? Is this some kind of nightmare, or what?"

No worries, Hillary is going to be indicted for her crimes involving her private email server which jeopardized government secrets, Sanders is going to be the Democratic nominee, and he'll beat Trump in November.

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Good point Joshua! With a 2% per year growth for the past 7 years, suppressed interest rates and the stock market bubble that can bust anytime that can trigger the recession.

Trump was very successful in Atlantic City. That is until neighboring states allowed casino gambling. Kcjapan neglects to tell the whole story as liberals tend to do. The Trump casinos were making millions! Trump sold when the casino's started to loose the business. He could have lost his shirt, he left at the right time. Good business judgement!

Kabuki death gives factual numbers and gets thumbed down. Goes to show ya, you can lead them to water but cannot make them drink.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

She wants to raise taxes and spend on illegal immigration

Screw illegal immigrants. None of our money should be spent on them. It should be spent on Americans first. Let me make a 'shoutout' to all the Illegals, Catholics and Hispanic (voters): "NO SE PUEDE."

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

Not only did they leave it broke, they stole the fine China as well. There is NO WAY the Clinton's can accumulate that kind of wealth by speeches alone. There is a reason why Hillary is not transparent on anything.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

So if Hillary has nothing to hide, why doesn't she make her speeches available? Especially the Goldman Sachs speech? A person that's transparent would do....oh, I forgot, we're talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton, my bad....

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

Clinton the taker! Trump the maker!

D Trump is going to be the next Potus- no doubt about that!

-8 ( +3 / -11 )

There is NO WAY the Clinton's can accumulate that kind of wealth by speeches alone.

Well, book advances and sales also. They had to keep working "really hard" you know, because maybe not dead broke but not as well off as other wealthy people we knew. (Only 150 million from speeches and speaking fees...).

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

I don't think too many Trump supporters really know or care what his economic policies are.

They so, but they also know that if Hilary is in charge of the economy, less money will go into the voters pocket and more will go into her pockets. Whatever you say about Trump, he's built businesses, he's created jobs. HIllary has NEVER created a job, although she has built business relationships with foreign dictators willing to take their money, which under the constitution she is not really allowed to do. This goes back to the list of her being a total charlatan as well as a criminal.

Trump just announced that Michelle Bachmann will be on his evangelical executive advisory board, whatever that is. I just can't believe this women is not under psychiatric care.

hmmmm....Some may same the same about Obama. Anyway, if you go through her resume of political accomplishments, the woman is quite impressive.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

Trump's campaign is broke and just has to take it. Sucka

Broke? Aren't most of the EBT voters and people without a lot of money the ones voting for Hillary. She's got the Black & Latino vote. Do the math. Sucka-

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

Wait what?!

I guess Hillary hasn't seen those recent employment numbers of unemployed, plus the OTHER numbers of those not seeking employment. Keep spinning Hillary, Donald will soon expose you for the war monger you are and then it's back to Goldman Sachs and the Clinton Criminal Foundation while don cuts the strings of the establishment.

Go Donald! Go Donald! Go Donald!
