Back to the point. Even if Cohen rigged online polls in 2014 and 2015, and even if Trump asked him to do so, what does it matter?

Nothing at all to you obviously as you appear to have decided Trump is a totally righteous dude no matter what he might have done. Think it would have mattered much if this had become known when Trump was still contesting the Republican Primaries?

WolfpackToday  05:19 am JST

When Trump gets off scott free and is exonerated in the Senate I hope Dems are as angry as conservatives were about Hillary...

But conservatives always act with so much integrity that if really damning proof of Trump's guilt emerges that surely won't happen. Will it? Or are you suggesting they're actually a bunch of sanctimonious hypocrites who will be happy to see Trump declared innocent even if they know or believe he really isn't?

Buzzfeed disputing Mueller now on CNN.com. Is there even one tiny part of our story that is only 95% false? If so please tell us so that we can spread the speculation that it hasn’t been totally debunked.

pathetic just like dossier. Can’t prove any of it just wanna let it sit there and speculate while saying it’s possible one single part might be true. While knowing it’s not.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

buzzfeed NOT ACCURATE. From Mueller himself.

Seems you all would have learned from the “Manafort met Assange” lie. Must have killed CNN to write this article. They only did because they can blame buzzfeed not themselves for believing and publicizing what buzzfeed said.

https://edition-m.cnn.com/2019/01/18/politics/mueller-statement-buzzfeed/index.html

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Nah, if Trump walks we can just make up conspiracy theories about the FBI.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Compared to the more interesting news that Mueller now has evidence that Trump directed Cohen to commit a crime, not a lot. So have it your way.

If true, that would be the first evidence that Trump may have committed a crime. But since Hillary also got away with at least one if not multiple crimes, we just have to call it even and move on.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

When Trump gets off scott free and is exonerated in the Senate I hope Dems are as angry as conservatives were about Hillary getting away with exposing classified information and selling her office as Secretary of State to the Russians. Looking forward to it.

Who will believe this pathologically liar lawyer Micheal Cohen?

He wasn't trust worthy witness for Mueller.

He said "he will take bullet for Trump".

Everything he did was he has done alone to get favor from Trump like puppy licking his owner.

Only anti-Trump's sore losers are wanting to hear another fabricated lie from Micheal Cohen .

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Fake online poll. Does anyone even believe those? Again how did those help Trump steal the election from the anointed and rightful victor?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Cohen was responding to an article in The Wall Street Journal that said Cohen stiffed the owner of the technology company out of tens of thousands of dollars he promised for work that included using a computer script to enter fake votes for Trump in a 2014 CNBC poll asking people to identify top business leaders and a 2015 poll of potential presidential candidates.

If Cohen could prove it (financials, paper trail, etc), rigging polls is the very definition of creating fake news

For people who hate fake news, inventing false data should be at the top of the list that should not be done

Don't call out people for fake news if you're one of those creating fake news

Back to the point. Even if Cohen rigged online polls in 2014 and 2015, and even if Trump asked him to do so, what does it matter?

I thought Russia helped him win, now its 2 year old online polls?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Whatever. You guys call the guardian or any media that isn’t 100% anti Trump “right wing”. So I post your left wing favorites CNN. HuffPost and Vox to prove my points and you still whine.

nothing I have ever posted had breitbart as the only source. But nice try.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The fact that I quote breitbart has no impact on the reliability of buzzfeed. Buzzfeed is nonsense whether I quote breitbart or not.

Breitbart trades in conspiracy theories, birther trash, white supremacy tropes, lies, falsehoods and racism.

The very fact anyone would quote it has an impact on their credibility.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The fact that I quote breitbart has no impact on the reliability of buzzfeed. Buzzfeed is nonsense whether I quote breitbart or not.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

bass: liar, therefore compromising himself as a credible witnesss

Ah, so if a person lies, he compromises his credibility? Manafort lied a lot and you don't seem bothered by it.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

If Cohen fixed polls he did not do a very good job as every one had Hillary a winner. Cohen is twisting in the wind.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

I quote breitbart. That doesn’t make buzzfeed any more or less valid.

Goes against what you said a few posts back, though.

Buzzfeed? Yeah sure that’s reliable.

Which is it?

The reich is crumbling. Lawyers, liars, rigged polls, liars lying about lawyers and polls. It must be all very confusing for Trump's loyalists.

At least you have Rudy, though.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I quote breitbart. That doesn’t make buzzfeed any more or less valid. When the breitbart article is discussing what was said in Washington Post/NY Times article that is linked in there, what’s wrong with it?

Their sources just as good as the “two federal law enforcement” mentioned in this covfefe.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Cohen also saying he might not testify before Congress because Trunp is threatening his family. No, lying to Congress again that Trump told him to do all this is a bad idea.

thought Mueller team doesn’t leak? So who are these toe sources?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Buzzfeed? Yeah sure that’s reliable.

And you've never quoted Breitbart, of course.

The last gasps of the Trump fanatics. However will you survive his downfall?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

So Trump won the election in Nov 2016 because of a rigged internet poll in 2014? Nah.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Pffft! Who cares?

Oh my.

You seemed to care at the time. What's changed?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Thr last desperate gasps of Cohen trying to stay out of jail before mueller reports nothing on Trump. Buzzfeed? Yeah sure that’s reliable.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Cohen says...

Who?

Cohen.

Pffft! Who cares?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

a lawyer that I always thought was shady way before Trump ran for office, a man who was greedy and would cut anyone’s throat to get what he wanted.

And also, @bass

but I do tend to believe the man, he seemed extremely confident, so he probably is.

Apr. 22, 2018 04:24 pm JST Posted in: Trump says he doesn't think personal lawyer will 'flip' See in context

Really, I don’t think he looks guilty

Hmmm

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Ahem! @bass; it appears you're on Cohen's side here:

Apr. 26, 2018 11:12 am JST Posted in: Trump lawyer Cohen will invoke 5th Amendment rights in Stormy Daniels case See in context

Trump said "he's unflippable!"

He pleaded the 5th, guess he didn’t flip after all.

Funny how his initial Fifth arose due to Stormy Daniels. There certainly exist many cases with far more compelling reasons to so plead. They will dribble out.

Doubt it. Didn’t work on Lous Lerner, her boss, didn’t work on Mark Fuhrman.

Cohen isn't talking tough now. Oh, he isn't even talking. Criminal charges are probably coming soon or are anticipated.

And? Susan McDougal didn’t crack and they treated her like garbage.

Finally, someone in the Trump camp received and (shockingly) followed good legal advice.

Maybe Cohen took Mike Avenetti's advice.

He’s a lawyer or course, he knows the law. Lol! Come on now.....

and

Apr. 26, 2018 12:05 pm JST Posted in: Trump lawyer Cohen will invoke 5th Amendment rights in Stormy Daniels case See in context

Oh I have a feeling that Mr. Cohen will be one of many Trump associates who will be behind bars in the future.

Just so much corruption in his world. It really is stunning.

Looks like Trump will be busy pardoning a lot of people.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The big difference here is, you have a lawyer that I always thought was shady way before Trump ran for office, a man who was greedy and would cut anyone’s throat to get what he wanted. Cohen embodies these traits.

You always thought this?

Know what? I reckon in a few years time when all the dust has settled after Trump has been served justice, some of the Trump hyperpartisans will claim they always knew he was a wrong 'un...

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Never trust online polls that isn't 100% of the population. They are self-selecting and worse than useless.

You can have reliable results with small sample sizes, provided that they're properly randomized. The problem here is the self-selection, not the small sample size.

What our resident Trump supporters will say is too predictable.

They appear to have gone very quiet. I wonder why.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

All the corruption, conspiracy, obstruction, tax swindles, Russian money laundering, and who knows how many more porn stars and playboy bunnies - Melania should brace herself...

He's a roasted tangerine...

Toasted? How? Ok and then what? Trump gets a slap and then?

@bass, that's lincolman you're quoting. But sure, one way or another he's going to face up to his many crimes and misdemeanours. Via the investigations, law suits or through the will of the people. Except the slapping part. He enjoys that. Allegedly.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

And now its being reported that Trump instructed Cohen to lie to congress about the Moscow project. Hmmmmm....Who do I believe? Trump or Cohen. ;)

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/01/17/politics/buzzfeed-trump-cohen-lie-congress-moscow/index.html

Want to see a text book example of hypocrisy?

Rudy May 18: Giuliani defended Cohen as an “honest, honorable lawyer.” Giuliani said he trusted Cohen’s honesty. “I have no concern that Michael Cohen is going to do anything but tell the truth,” Giuliani said.

Trump Apr 18: Trump accused the New York Times of “going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will ‘flip.'” He called Cohen “a fine person with a wonderful family” who is a “businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected.”

It's always like this for Trump and his supporters - everyone is "the best", "great", "a winner" - until they're not...

Cohen is slime, just like Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Zinke, Price, Papadapolous, Porter, Stone, on and on....you know, all of Trump's associates...

And Trump is the Slimeball in Chief...

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Bass digging deeper:  The big difference here is, you have a lawyer that I always thought was shady way before Trump ran for office, a man who was greedy and would cut anyone’s throat to get what he wanted. Cohen embodies these traits.

And the POTUS had him as his personal lawyer and fixer.  Right.  Got it.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

What our resident Trump supporters will say is too predictable. They slobber over those that support Trump right up until those people stop. Once they stop, Trump supporters don't hesitate to do a screeching 180 and start condemning.

It's hilarious to watch Trump supporters constantly cough up theor integrity.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump has also been labeled as/proven to be a liar. Yet you're still here, being hypocritical.

As well as the media, especially CNN, and the Democrats, take your pick, so what’s your point?

The point is crystal clear. You don’t trust people or organizations with a track record of telling lies, yet you trust Trump who has a track record of telling lies.

This is a glaring contradiction.

Surely the non-partisan thing to do is not trust any of them until the evidence is in.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

a lawyer that I always thought was shady way before Trump ran for office, a man who was greedy and would cut anyone’s throat to get what he wanted.

So now you're claiming you knew something Cohen's employer Trump himself didn't realize. You oughta get yourself a job working for the big man himself.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

@plasticmoney

I'm surprised you did that! I was thinking there is probably a post about Trump's rant shaming the FBI for raiding Cohen's apartment with Bass supporting Cohen and Trump but alas, I'm too late. Nice 1.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

@bass

What's YOUR point? That if media can spread fake news, its OK for you to be hypocritical?

How much do you love Trump? You've been following him and his lawyer before he even began running for office? I doubt very many people even had heard the name Cohen up until all these allegations started coming out. Seems pretty strange that you were checking up on Cohen and his practices years and years ago. And this man you call greedy and cut-throat was great friends with Trump. In fact, held very similar morals as Trump and obeyed his orders with diligence. There is no difference in their capabilities to be pathological liars. Trump has always been a greedy slime-ball who reeks of gluttony and self indulgence.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

you have a lawyer that I always thought was shady way before Trump ran for office,

That doesn't seem to be what you thought in April of last year, right after the FBI searched Cohen's office. What you said about Cohen then:

thankfully, the President can pardon anyone he wants.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Bass again:  When the judge presiding over your case calls you out as a habitual liar. You have some serious problems.

Any other habitual liars you know off spring to mind?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Bass: That would depend, but given the history and greediness of Cohen, then with a doubt.

So when did you come to conclusion that Cohen had a long history of lying?  Was this a long held view of yours or did it develop only after Trump said he was a liar?  I'm just wondering, during the ten years that Cohen represented Trump did you wake at night thinking: Trump has to drop this lawyer of his because he is a liar.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Trump has also been labeled as/proven to be a liar. Yet you're still here, being hypocritical.

As well as the media, especially CNN, and the Democrats, take your pick, so what’s your point? The big difference here is, you have a lawyer that I always thought was shady way before Trump ran for office, a man who was greedy and would cut anyone’s throat to get what he wanted. Cohen embodies these traits. When the judge presiding over your case calls you out as a habitual liar. You have some serious problems. If the judge is that concerned, why now would he be credible....other than the fact, he fears prison, he worries about his young kids, in that case, most people that are in the position he is might make a deal and as a father, he feels his family needs him, so he’ll do whatever Mueller wants and that could mean anything.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

@bass

Trump has also been labeled as/proven to be a liar. Yet you're still here, being hypocritical...

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Just one of the litany of bombshells Cohen will drop - all those except those he is sworn to not divulge because they are already being investigated by Mueller.

Ok, so now he’s telling the based on.....

And they’re going to prove it by......

and then what?

Think of it - Trump's right-hand man, his "fixer" letting it all out of the bag...

The man who was labeled by the judge of the Southern district as a problematic liar, therefore compromising himself as a credible witnesss. Hmmm...

All the corruption, conspiracy, obstruction, tax swindles, Russian money laundering, and who knows how many more porn stars and playboy bunnies - Melania should brace herself...

He's a roasted tangerine...

Toasted? How? Ok and then what? Trump gets a slap and then?

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Only the gullible or partisans would trust what Cohen or Trump says. It’s no accident these shady characters and compulsive liars were working together for so long.

As stated earlier, look for the corroborating evidence on anything these people say.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

I forgot to mention Trump's history of lying, cheating, stealing, losing.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

So much winning...

Rudy Giuliani, told The Associated Press that the president "had no knowledge" of any effort to manipulate polling data on his behalf. He called Cohen a "liar" and a "thief"

Rudy, a message to you - pot, kettle, black?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@bass

Trump has made more than 6,000 misleading statements/lies since his inauguration. But you still take his word for it. Are you just trolling us all, secretly hate Trump but wanna stir up the pot?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

John Gauger admits to manipulating the poll results of polling companies. Are these polling companies still in the polling business? Who would hire a polling company who's data is so easily manipulated?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Just one of the litany of bombshells Cohen will drop - all those except those he is sworn to not divulge because they are already being investigated by Mueller.

Think of it - Trump's right-hand man, his "fixer" letting it all out of the bag...

All the corruption, conspiracy, obstruction, tax swindles, Russian money laundering, and who knows how many more porn stars and playboy bunnies - Melania should brace herself...

He's a roasted tangerine...

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Ah, I see. So only if there's a history of lying do you bring up credibility issues.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

And? Do you doubt the credibility of people who lie?

That would depend, but given the history and greediness of Cohen, then with a doubt.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Bass:. So the man with a long history of lying

And? Do you doubt the credibility of people who lie?

9 ( +11 / -2 )

ROFL! Uh-huh, based on what? So the man with a long history of lying, even stated by Mueller the master witch hunter himself expressed about Cohen’s credibility and now we have to take his word for it? Yawn...yeah, right.

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Never trust online polls that isn't 100% of the population. They are self-selecting and worse than useless.

Clearly.

And scummy people can easily manipulate the numbers.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

So, just to be clear, the president of the United States, who took an oath to "faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" would not cooperate with a counter-intelligence inquiry into whether a foreign government sought to influence one of our elections.

Is that where we are now? Is that what Mr. Trump's voters expected?

Remember when all of our previous Presidents weren't intel assets for hostile foreign powers?

That was a pretty sweet period between 1789 and 2016.

Seems like so long ago now.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

So those polls were like "fake news"?  Oh my.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

If their is corroborating evidence, Cohen's testimony is as good as gold despite him pleading guilty to lying. That's the beauty of the law, it considers all available evidence.
