We should just follow the new McConnell rule: no supreme court picks confirmed during an election year. If it was good enough for Obama, it better be good enough for Trump.

Sure Susan. Just like you did when you voted for Neil Gorsuch. And just like you promised to save health care when you voted for the tax scam bill that included elimination of the mandate. Thanks for all your promises Susan - but I'll pass this time.
As long as the conservative nominee hasn't gotten up on a soap box and said Roe v Wade should be overturned, you'll look the other way and give them a thumbs up and pretend you weren't aware of how they would vote on the matter. In other words she is telling the candidate for justice to simply not make their views known on Roe v Wade so she can go along and give them her vote.

The Biden Rule is for presidential election years. But this whole charade has nothing to do with made up rules that have nothing to with the Constitution or Senate traditions. Harry Reid ditched tradition to stack the DC court of appeals in a fruitless attempt to save Obama’s regulatory dictates. Since the Supreme Court has somehow become the extra legislative branch for the American system of government, what matters is raw political power. It’s why the Dems borked Bork and nearly did the same to Thomas. It’s how they forced Reagan to nominate a squishy judge like Kennedy.
Dems will try the same tactic this time and may get Collins to put up a show of opposing Trumps next nominee. No matter. He has 25 names on his list of potential nominees. Bork one and she will have to be willing to do it 24 more times. It will only motivate Trumps base to get out to vote.
Dems shouldn’t have nominated Hillary. As Obama said, elections have consequences.

Good news. Not so much recently.

Well, at least it's not just left-leaning activism that's being opposed now.
Trump is threatening critics and opposition now:
It's ironic that there are still people who cannot see how bad Trump is. Not just with his SC court appointments or domestically but globally.

Meanwhile, the protesters are marching against the separation of children from the mothers who’ve illegally entered the USA.
The same people saying paying they care about those children yet they’re okay with abortions. Ohhh the hypocrisy!!

As said during a presidential year, this year is not a presidential year.
Anyway since it’s a midterm, the President is moving with his pick which will be announced on July 9th. All conservative and all “Pro Life.”

She did vote for Gorsuch, so shouldn’t be a problem.
He can do that, he said from the beginning and during the campaign that he would elect conservative to the bench. This was one of the reasons evangelicals voted for him.
And get his numbers are rising so I think the people are getting sick and tired of all the threats and bullying and mass hysteria the left is doing.
Globally is not so important.

She could and then there are 5 very vulnerable Democrats that are up for re-election in States were Trump won who’s constituents are very Pro life. So let’s see where they will fall.

Abortion laws only affect working class people, not us rich guys.

That will be left to the individual States, so the left doesn’t have to worry, but the appointment will happen no matter what.
