But Horowitz also found major errors and omissions in applications the FBI submitted to eavesdrop on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

Donny’s campaign was not surveilled, Carter Page was.

You might want to read up on “2 hop” surveillance. Wiretap Page and he talks to other campaign people who talk to the President. That’s why they surveilled Carter Page for a whole year yet never charged him with anything.

I also enjoyed when Chris Wallace called Comey out for acting like he was just a bystander or observer to all this. Then when he claimed their was no “misconduct” he was reminded that there is a criminal referral in this ongoing case.

I still want to know how an egotistical, maniacal, narcissist like Comey became the head of the FBI. Who is this clown's clout in Washington? Comey's only qualification seems to be the fact that he's tall, and that's not a qualification for membership in the FBI.

The initial reason to start the investigation was not political. On that many people agree. However, the details of HOW the investigation was conducted are another story entirely. "Sloppiness" doesn't begin to describe the wilful misconduct in altering documents to get fraudulent warrants. Not to mention the obvious political bias in many of the investigators themselves, as evidenced by their communication.

Heads should roll at the FBI over this. If Comey wasn't supervising such an important investigation closely, especially during an election campaign, that says a lot about his poor performance as director.
