Ivanka should be treated exactly like Hillary was for doing the same thing.

More republican hypocrisy.

Not clear there is much to say. The stupidity and cluelessness of the first daughter is pretty obvious to everyone

Chip, I agree.

But Ivanka did it until trained differently with no classified information. Hillary did it for years and years with classified data being sent to her by people in the State Department.

Regardless, epic stupidity by Ivanka and she may have broken the govt records act just like Hillary did, though I think Hillary was conscious about the act and manually forwarded emails she thought were related to email accounts inside the Govt to be archived.

Nepotism is a bad thing, even when provided for free.

There's a huge difference. Hillary was a lifetime govt employee, so she should have known better.

Ivanka had never worked in the govt, but for all the complaining he daddy did over HRC's emails, she should have known better.

Someone on Hillary's team should be in jail now due to the classified threads. Someone must have directed that person to send the emails to Hillary's unclassified email account, nobody can prove who did.

And Hillary didn't delete any emails out of malice. The Clinton's migrated email systems just like any other small business would have done. I reviewed the FBI reports about the Clinton email systems and didn't see anything odd performed by the people maintaining them. It all appeared professionally managed to me. I've been running corporate email and BES systems since the mid-1990s. They replaced hardware when it made sense. They moved to different data centers when that made sense. Absolutely nothing nefarious that I saw in the FBI reports.

Yeah, good luck with that, this is a joke, The woman is not on a political stage, she didn’t hide a server in a restroom, she didn’t shred documents or deleted thousands of emails, this is too hilarious, once again our tax dollars are going to be wasted on nothing. Lol

Isn't it amazing the contortions Trumpsters go through to keep their heads from exploding.  Whether it's Trump defending a Republican candidate who supports "public hangings", to his disrespect of our military by sending them to the border on a political stunt, to this - e-mails....

Ivanka doing government business on a personal e-mail server...the mind boggles...

The hypocrisy will be in full overdrive as the Trumpsters here and on Faux News try to spin this one...

Stayed tuned tomorrow - "Don Jr admits to carrying around Top Secret documents in his back pocket..."

Trump is already pissed off, so if they go after he's girlfriend... He will turn... red-ish ?

New revelations about the extent of Ivanka Trump's personal email use in the White House will be getting a hard look from House Democrats when they take power in January.

They have nothing better to do.

Can we just say that nobody who works for the government should be using a private email server. If they are doing the people's business, it must be subject to oversight and FOIA requests. I want to know what Ivanka was doing that she wanted hidden! Hillary had multiple investigations. I want to know if Ivanka was working business deals for her own enrichment, or communicating with the Russians and the Saudis. America has a right to know!

I don't think this will produce much. Republicans won't care that Ivanka did it and they'll never stop talking about Hillary doing it because that's just the way they are. Sure, exposing the hypocrisy is always fun, but I get the feeling there are bigger things to go after.

Should we start chanting Lock Her Up?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

With all her father has done to Hillary about using a personal email server, she should have known better.

Also she has the security clearance.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Thoroughly low-quality individual just like her halfwit father.

If Ivanka destroyed 30,000 classified emails and here’s a server in a bathroom and used a personal Email address for governmental purposes and was Secretary of State, had a history of lying, lying to Congress under oath then I would be the first one to speak out, but that didn’t happen.

Sure, exposing the hypocrisy is always fun, but I get the feeling there are bigger things to go after.

What? Maybe the Democrats should try and come up with ideas for infrastructure to start, you know something useful that the party can say, we did this, they got elected, do something productive.

Whether it's outright illegal and they should lock her up (let's be realistic, they should), or if it's not illegal and she has no legal issues whatsoever, it's shows a complete lack of intelligence in the entire administration, much less just Ivanka. The guy ran a whole campaign on a chant of lock her up, based on using a private email server. Then his daughter, a 'her', is using a private email server, and no one had the brains to realize this could be a bit of a public relations nightmare if it got found out? No one thought that the prudent approach would be to NOT give the other team the ammo to be yelling LOCK HER UP forcing them to defend accusations of hypocrisy?

Seriously, there must have been a long line of morons to let that one get through. And these people are protecting the nuclear codes. Jesus wept.

If Ivanka... had a history of lying, lying to Congress under oath

Um, she has just as much a history of lying to Congress under oath as Hillary does.

Why? The winning strategy has been shown three times in a row now to be obstruction. The pubs did it in 2008-2014, and took both houses in 2014. Then they obstructed even more from 2014, and took the presidency and both houses in 2016. The Democrats obstructed from 2016, took the Senate, got over 10million more votes, and had their best turnout in like 50 years.

Your 'advice' is typically hyper-partisan. You are trying to pretend like you are giving advice, while knowing full well that the strategy you advise is a failing one. Thanks, but no thanks, we don't need your advice. You already showed us how to win, and it's working. Say goodbye in 2020.

I'm sure you'll be back to advocating for obstruction then.

Bass: then I would be the first one to speak out

You? Speak out against Trump?

Odds are against it. In this situation you typically play dumb, say you weren’t in the room, say you don’t know what the emails contained, say that no one really knows how bad it was so we should reserve judgement, you’re on the fence, etc.

But speak out? Not a chance. Trump fans are fans specifically because they don’t speak out.

Ivanka should be treated exactly like Hillary was for doing the same thing.

When did Ivanka become our Secretary of State?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Seriously, there must have been a long line of morons to let that one get through.

Well, it’s not a serious issue as she’s not running for office or a Secretary of State or the Presidency. Once Ivanka starts shredding emails and purposely hiding HD then you have my undivided attention.

Odds are against it. In this situation you typically play dumb,

Absolutely not.

But speak out? Not a chance. Trump fans are fans specifically because they don’t speak out.

I would and have done so in the past and will continue if I see something illegal or unjust.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Yet you haven't called out Ivanka on this thread...

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Well, the House and Robert Mueller will be looking into all of Crooked Ivanka's emails sometime soon.

Heh, it won't be long before the Orange Moron blurts out something that finally goes too far. CNN are really egging him on right now.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Funny how Democrats are suddenly interested in emails, lol.
