DeSantis doesn’t care about more people dying as long as he can advance his career in the MAGAverse.

Evil man.

How many hospitals has DeSantis visited lately? Pretty sure FL is going to start having a severe shortage of nurses and doctors soon. Overworked, overwhelmed, exhausted both mentally and physically to the point of quitting to keep their own sanity and health. Good news is 54% of the population there is reported as FULLY vaccinated, and 64% total population has had at least one shot. The remainders though are going to be helping to drag out the pandemic if they're knowingly not getting the vaccine.

BTW, we now have "Covid Karens" going around and coughing on people. Not teens or young stupid adults... but fully grown "adults" in their +35s.

It should read... Judge upholds DeSantis ruling “ To Let Parents Decide what’s Best For Their Child” on wearing a mask policy. I feel any government overreach is a detriment to all Americans that value the freedom of choice. This is sole reason why so many people are moving to States like Florida and Texas, it’s the freedom to make the choice and decide for themselves.

If people don’t like it, it’s ok, they have the right to be judgmental or voice their personal opinions and concerns, however, they don’t have the right to dictate, lecture or force me on how to raise my kids or what is best for them.

DeSantis isn’t a judge,

No, but the Florida judge ruled in his favor.

Unless it’s to tell a woman what to do with her body of interfere in the market on behold of “conservatives.”

Ok, so the child has to pay for the parents wrong decisions? Gotcha…

Incorrect. The main reason people are moving to those places is the cost of living is significantly lower than in a lot of blue states.

As well as freedom of choice and the freedom to be and do as they please. That’s why a lot of my family members went there as well as Texas, because freedom is extremely important to us as Americans.

This isn’t completely accurate. The government can step in and interfere with how you raise your children as long as the government has a compelling interest in doing so and does it in the least restrictive means possible.

And I have the right as a parent to say, No, back off and this judge seems to agree with DeSantis about government overreach.

Directing the upbringing of your child is a fundamental right protected by the Constitution, but no right is absolute.

That last part I disagree. This is why Biden can’t get through Florida, that’s there wall and the Dems just have to deal with it.

Men, women and children are going to continue to die of Covid-19 and its variants. Sad.

bass: I feel any government overreach is a detriment to all Americans that value the freedom of choice.

Your choice to clog up the medical system where I can't get the care I need because your choice is filling all the available beds?

Yeah. I'm going to have to pass on your choice. My choice is to keep myself alive. Your choice that takes that away doesn't really work for me.

Keep walling off the anti-vaxxers. Force the consequences of their choices on them, not us.

DeSantis won the case as expected once it proceeded past the local Democrat judge. Florida is a great place to live.

What a shame! My freedom to enforce the actions and mandate behavior of others via coercion under my own bureaucratic authority is a god given right!

Don’t worry, Biden DOJ will be weaponized again same as every time the White House doesn’t like a state decision.

“civil rights” case probably.

Your choice to clog up the medical system where I can't get the care I need because your choice is filling all the available beds?

I am not clogging anything

Yeah. I'm going to have to pass on your choice. My choice is to keep myself alive.

Same here.

Your choice that takes that away doesn't really work for me.

Your choice doesn’t work for me.

Yeah, let them try and watch the litany of lawsuits hit them upside the head. Not going to happen. Even some Dems are like…whoa Mr. President…..

Keep it up Ron - keep denying these children basic medical safety measures, keep defunding and closing schools that keep the mask mandate, keep shouting "Mission Accomplished" as COVID ravages through your state...

You're doing more to turn Florida Blue than any Dem...

A dumb ass First District Court of Appeals in Florida and a dumb ass Florida governor.

The two were made for each other. Just ignore what the majority of people want and ram your idiotic views down our throats regardless of the dangers to social health and what the evidence clearly says.

It is just outrageous to even think the government has the given right to dictate what parents should do and how they should conduct themselves,

Outrageous? I think not. There are plenty of things the government requires parents to do; vaccines and attending school, for example. The rights of parents are indeed expansive, but not infinite.

They can try and push and have their liberal governors and mayors fall in line, but Texas and Florida are thankfully not liberal.

1,200 Floridians died just today, but at least you got to stick it to the libs, right?

How many were elderly? How many had pre-existing medical conditions?

Weird, I thought all lives mattered. Do the elderly matter a little less or something?

For some reason we can’t get the detailed data on this

Are you suggesting a conspiracy? Why do you suppose that might be?

Repub Governors putting people in the ICU and their graves....

Putting school children at risk by mandating no masks....inexcusable...

Americans will remember when they vote in 2022/24....
