More fire to my point that religion has no place in the modern world. We have been somewhat successful in pushing Christians out, Jews are all about gone except virtually a few, and now Hindus have basically conceded.
There's one more to go....

You stole my comment! That is near exactly what I intended to say. I will see you in court.

What utter nonsense to compare gay sex to murder.
Murder is not a consensual act. An adult choosing to have sex with another adult is a consensual act.
If you want to argue the morality of gay sex you're going to have to do better than rubbish like that.

Lovely sapquest. I was just waiting for the resented anti-gay statement to show up, and you made it happen in a record number of 3 posts. Congratulations.
So then, you believe homosexuals have a "problem" and therefore should get 10 years of prison for trying to live their lives as they see fit? Please explain how two consenting adults engaging in a same-sex relationship is comparable to hurting and killing others? Perhaps you are the kind of person who sustains that all homosexuals are pedophiles too?
I think the only one with a problem here is you.

If the majority of people in a society wants to satisfy their unnatural desires, it does not mean that it is right. If a society is full of anger and everyone wants to express their anger by hurting and killing others, it doesn't make it the right thing to do. They need to find a way to deal with their inner problem, and yes, it is a problem. In the same way, homosexuals and lesbians need to find a way to deal with their problem and not try to make it accepted.

"But some religious leaders quickly criticized the ruling. “This Western culture cannot be permitted in our country,” said Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali, a leading Muslim cleric in the northern city of Lucknow."
Typical religious leader. No idea what the heck is going on. So funny that the next paragraph identifies the old law against gay sex as being distinctly "western". Duh.
"Sex between people of the same gender has been illegal in India since a British colonial era law was issued in the 1860s classifying it as “against the order of nature.”"

Good job, India. About time.
