Please don't lump all "Americans" into one group OK?? There are plenty of naive/misguided people in many countries who refuse to get vaccinated simply because they don't like being told what to do.

And we know where most of these recent deaths are occurring....

Red State governors - if voting restrictions don't work, they'll put their residents in the ICU or the morgue...

Anything to keep them from voting in 2022/24....

With the huge amount of rabid anti-vaxxers, refusal to wear masks or practice even basic hygeine and social distancing, and a cold winter coming, things are going to get much, much worse in the U.S. Most of these deaths could be avoided.

They haven't seen anything yet.

While millions have died worldwide from the pandemic, Putin has his minions busy making false information videos and posts for distribution to the gullible and ignorant, in an effort to weaken the democracies.

Many tens of thousands of misinformed and misguided Republican supporters who danced to Trump's fiddle and followed his example have left the building. We must never forget his catastrophic legacy of the Big Lies because it won't be carved in stone, unless you look carefully at the inscriptions on the grave stones of those felled by the preventable pandemic.

So many people on this site prove that Mr. Trump was the greatest real estate developer in the history of the world, because he continues to live rent free in their brains.

But as for Mr. Baker, his weight of 300lbs (140kg) means he was obese, which is a significant comorbidity for COVID19. If you don't want to get the vaccine, then please lose some weight and get healthy. He was NOT a healthy 28-year old struck down in the prime of life, but a cardio problem waiting to happen.

I got the jab less for me than for those around me. While the vaccinated may still be infectious (that's why I still wear a mask), they're much less so than the unvaccinated. Don't be selfish. Get the jab and save your neighbors.
