Daimler says it has no idea how Kim Jong Un got his limos

I know! A third party!

Possibly acquired from China.

Possibly acquired from China.

My idea too. Xi isn't too much committed to sanctions.

It would be easy for Daimler and others to find out. Those cars are extremely conspicuous, are produced in very limited numbers and have had customized security upgrades done by a specialized firm or firms.

If the cars have never been sighted in North Korea it's simple. They were leased in the visiting countries and placed his badge on as part of the service.

Oh, sure, stormcrow, just make up stuff and post it, lol

Oh, really. LOL!

Drive it in from China easy

NK probably just own the magnets attached to the doors which are attached to local rentals!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

This is not rocket science.... “someone” sent them to China... they were then driven across the border.

Nice limo. If they are indeed Kim's limos, it was probably bought through third-party proxies and then shipped to NK discretely. No mystery; happens all the time. People in high places have means to get whatever they want.

Now here's another one: Kim attending Kim-Jong-Il's funeral. Note the Lincoln Continental limousine --- an AMERICAN car at that. Wonder how he got that one?

The car is a gift from Trump. Paid for by the U.S. taxpayer.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Exactly. Heard he pocketed a couple of million recently. Have to spend those US dollars on something. Even pimped his ride with the insignia and got all the bells and whistles too. So much for sanctions.

Second hand car for a second hand dictator.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

China or Russia. Same as all the other stuff he's not supposed to have.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Is it authentic or possibly an imitation from a Russian company?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

They probably know exactly which dealer in China sold it too him. These aren’t exactly mass-produced peasantmobiles.

But as usual, money talks, and Benz doesn’t want to lose its China market.

Give this "lying character" a car the shape of a Coffin, rather than a Mercedes Benz!

Trump denies he paid North Korea $2 million for Otto Warmbier

Just like he denied cheating on his wife, and paying a pornstar hush money, or none of his family or political allies had any connections or contacts with Russia before the election. We all know how that turned out. LOL!

@Serrano

"Kim loves me and I love him."

Donald Trump

It's no joke, Serrano. It's for real. Trump loves brutal dictators who murder helpless Americans.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Of course, they haven't a clue...s-u-r-e y-o-u d-o-n-t.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I guess some people don't like Daimler or Benz.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

fully in touch with the rest of the world

Not sure if that was the drawcard for him

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Well, no matter what the reason, Kim is not going to use a Skoda that’s for sure. They should ask him directly, would love to see how he would spin it.

It's amazing how far the resist movement has spread. A German car ends up in North Korea, and the usual suspects can't help themselves and claim that Trump must somehow be responsible. Kim Jong Un prefers to ride in armored trains, and this armored behemoth is the closest thing to that. Having the limo(s) driven over the Chinese-N Korea border would be the least noticed method of transport.

Good taste in vehicles.

May have to do a recall on any armored limousines that show abysmal results on the CO2 emissions test.
