In a TV interview seen yesterday before he made the walk, he seemed calm and cool. Glad to see he is keeping his family tradition alive by completing a dangerous walk on a highwire. Always have been a Wallenda highwire fan ... even in the face of death they take on the odds of getting safely to the other side ...

I seem to recall a video of the TV event where his great-grandfather failed and died after falling off the tightrope.
