Sorry to say this, but this guy has it coming to him. He couldn't have got it more wrong.

The whole world will be watching to see how the US deals with its own, when it so often takes the moral highground, eg condemning massacres elsewhere. Go easy here, and who will take the US seriously again? A tough case indeed.

Quote: "Bales has not entered a plea. His attorneys have not discussed the evidence, but they say Bales has post-traumatic stress disorder and suffered a concussive head injury during a prior deployment to Iraq."

If this is true, should he have been allowed to handle weapons again? Did none of his buddies worry about him?

What did anyone expect? These men are placed in a situation where some of the locals are friendly by day and murderous by night.

So called Blue on Green violence is not limited to phoney recruits in the Afghan military but spills over to the local fellow selling kebabs by day who then murders people friendly to the Americans by night.

I couldn't stand it either.
