Biden has vowed to keep up pressure on China,

Still far right media and their followers continue to say Biden's owned by China.

But then far right media have openly admitted their audience is NOT reasonable people.

Fortunately far right media's followers remain a minority in the US.

I don’t get your point. But just name me only one on that planet, that nowadays isn’t owned by China. Hint: that someone should be very very virus resistant. So, do you know any?

Surprised but pleased, good move by the Biden administration. Hopefully they turn the screws further.

Seems like Biden is taking some Trump pointer cues after all on China.

But then far right media have openly admitted their audience is NOT reasonable people.

No, they just want Biden to be as tough as he can be on China and use whatever leverage it takes bring them down a notch and stop stealing our intellectual property and filling our country with all their junk and playing fair when it comes to trade. If he can do that and commit to that unapologetically unabashedly, conservatives will support him.

Fortunately far right media's followers remain a minority in the US.

I wouldn’t say that, we just don’t make a lot of ruckus to get our points across unless someone tramples on them.

Good on the Biden gov't for doing this, one step closer to fully recognizing Taiwan. The USA needs to lead the way on recognizing Taiwan, then other democracies like Japan can follow suit.

Now, its time for big corporations to start the complete pullout of China, TESLA, GM, Apple, Toyota etc. Doing busuness in China simply rewards a Communist regime guilty of the worst genocide since the Holocaust. They should be taxed to oblivion in their home nations if they do not start withdrawing.

Let the Commies in China have a tantrum over this move by the USA. There is nothing they can do.

I agree.

The United States will still consider only Beijing as China's legitimate government, consistent with its switch of recognition in 1979, but will do away with some of the convoluted rules that restricted dealings with Taiwan.

Promising first step, but subsequent steps really must follow the wishes of Taiwan. To say it's a delicate situation is an understatement.

Sell them any weapons system they can afford and give them the rest for free. And any transfer should include force projection systems. Hold the main land at risk and see how Beijing likes it.

China. . . The mess that just keeps on giving.

GREAT move by Biden.

Another example of the adults being in charge and the kindergartners excused...

Notice you have yet to hear Boden say something like;

“China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”

Still far right media and their followers continue to say Biden's owned by China.

Don't think so - Don't see Biden giving the CCP millions to make his Collection clothing line in their sweatshop factories...

Biden missed the call.

Look, Biden is not going to do anything to rock the boat with China, if it means China over Americans, that’s exactly what he will do. If the NBA, Disney, Google and the other big tech and corporations give in to China, Biden will as well. Liberals always capitulate when it comes to appeasing our adversaries. Help for Taiwan will be limited at best, hope we don’t see another Crimea.....

US is seen to be more prone to antagonize China in every possible way. Nonetheless, don't overdo it to court for unnecessary trouble, lest regret too late..

When Myanmar Military made a coup against civilian government, Biden warned military dictatorship as The World is watching. After two months with more than 600 civilians deaths, it has been correct. The world is only watching.

Bring back the distant memory of Obama slogan of Do not cross the red line during syrian civil war.

The land of free, proud and brave has lost the spinal cord under Democrats.

...or to put it bluntly behind the scenes: we can’t rock the boat, too much money is at stake, not to mention we need that money for our social welfare entitlement program, if we show the Chinese appeasement maybe they might tone down their rhetoric and be a team player....we hope.

Bass: if we show the Chinese appeasement

More of the same.

You're very relaxed about appeasing Israel and Saudi Arabia. They're not much better than your adversaries and the Saudis are about as bad as anyone gets.
