Against the nuclear deal: Saudi Arabia (a medieval theocracy), Israel (an apartheid ethnocracy), the American branch of the Likud party aka AIPAC, plus the worst president in the history of the United States.

For the deal: the rest of the world.

They can say whatever they want. In the end, if U.S. sanctions come back, European companies will have the choice of doing business in Iran or in the U.S - they won't allow both.

That may bite, but that's how it is.

In Washington, only the opinion of one country matters.

Now that gave me a hearty lol!! Good ol do as I say and do or else attitude. The times are changing fast. By the time you wake up to this fact, it will be all too late.

The US, Israel and Saudi Arabia: the new Axis of Evil. What on earth is happening to the world?

The US slowly matters less and less, people of the world it's time to let the US aside.

I’ll tell you what with that botched deal (not a treaty) that Obama quickly wrote up puts the entire Middle East in future jeopardy and once the sunset clause expires The Iranian will go right back (and legally) to continue their proliferation and pursuit of nukes and I can guarantee you, the Israelis and the Saudis will never allow that to happen and rightfully so.

ROFL as if the last 8 years was a paradise. Lol

Oh? Can you go into this in more detail?

Simply put...

One of the most frequently mentioned concerns the so-called sunset provisions, under which time limits (of varying lengths, such as 10 or 15 years) apply to some of the restrictions in the JCPOA. The first thing to point out is that this argument is just as disingenuous as others in that if the JCPOA were killed, or if it had never been negotiated in the first place, the resulting alternative would be worse than the JCPOA according to the very criteria on which the opponents’ argument is based. If there were no JCPOA, then instead of Iran being free of some restrictions on its nuclear activity 10 or 15 years from now, it would be free from those same restrictions right now.

The deal should have never been made and Trump was right to call foul on it. The thing he needs to do is kick it to congress and have them make a “treaty” that is binding. Had Obama done that the way this lousy deal was written, it would have never passed Congress, sneaky.

It seems the left are perfectly content with Iran being wiped off the face of this Earth if the Iranians are not put in check and to be honest, Trump is not the real issue in this, if anything, Israel and the Saudis life are on the line and if that means the Saudis have to nuke up and go with Israel and Jordan to prevent this country from destroying them, you can bet your boots Iran will be the biggest loser in all of this.

Super wanted some clarification, I did just that, it doesn’t matter the source, not that the left would care either way, but seriously, focus for a moment, do you really think that these European leaders care about the existence of Israel and Saudi Arabia? They don’t, they’re more concerned with selling them products and goods and airbuses and all the nifty little things the Europeans have, they care about their Euros and Israel and the Saudis care about their existence and if that means they will have to destroy that country to ensure their survival, they won’t hesitate, not for a second.

Heh, you seem to be under the mistaken impression that Trump is competent. How cute.

I agree with Mr.Shultz. Iran is not as important as the US market wise.

The EU will drop Iran as soon as the US put back sanctions.

In that case, Burning Bush is also correct. Only one country hold the bag.

@ Paul R. ("bass") Pillar -- very simply put indeed.

Yes, well, but he’s the president and thank God, he made sure not to go along with this crap deal. Let congress make a binding treaty that’s approved by them and if the others don’t like it, too bad.

It will make other countries form stronger ties which will ultimately hurt the US.

They did already, it’s called the EU and look how that’s working for them.

The EU doesn't matter.

In Washington, only the opinion of one country matters.

Yeah, that's kinda the opposite of how international diplomacy works, brah.

I love how every article claims that the USA doesn't matter while at the same time decrying the USA refusing to join whatever they are up to.

Good luck convincing Russia and China to return to sanctions
