The notion of 'in it for the long haul' is not one many Americans understand. We're a McDonald's culture, one where instant gratification takes too long. And are paying a ridiculous price because of it.

Not this year.

Warnings of what? Warning of numbers on the tv screen being bigger than the previous day, that’s about what it comes down to

It could actually be a direct assault by people like a certain poster here who said it was a good thing that the death rate is increasing because they can now blame Biden.

The infection and death rates are rising faster than ever in the U.S. and in fact, setting new records, yet Americans are outright ignoring it.
This will not end well.

In the US, at least they have space to maintain distance, in Japan, people just aren’t able to.

Believe it or not, as you sit in Japan believing that the U.S. is divided on verge of a civil war, most people aren't wrapped up in politics. California votes blue but very few people sit at home listening to Gavin Newsome's guidelines. He gives these guidelines as last week he attends a large dinner party inside a restaurant with no social distancing and no masks. My family and friends voted for Trump and Biden but nobody is disowning or defriending anyone. Just because people vote, it doesn't mean they eat, drink and sleep politics.

Thousands, even a growing list of police chiefs in California and New York refuse to enforce orders of arresting or stopping people to gather on Thanksgiving and I applaud them and these police chiefs are sick and tired of these Democrats and their oppressive draconian laws and you’re going to see more rebellions from the police as we go further when it comes to draconian rules concerning this virus.

The competition for this winter's Darwin Awards in America is going to be unusually severe. Thank you very much, Mr President! The country will always remember what you wrought (while you played golf).
