This is good and makes this Jew a happy person today. Thank you.

He's almost dead anyway. The Germans lost. Who cares?

@ihavegreatlegs

This is good

Not if you believe in justice and the principle of "guilty beyond all reasonable doubt". The trial was a farce.

@lucabra: Where are the transcripts of this trial posted that you obviously read and decided it was a farce at?

1)He's already been tried in Israel (of all places) and acquitted after the court found he was a vitim of mistaken identity.

2)We're talking about events of some seventy years ago. There are no witnesses who can positively identify this guy as the camp guard in question.

3) Read the last paragraph, and remember that the FBI didn't inform Demjanjuk's legal team of their doubts.

I'm not saying he's innocent, not for a moment. I'm saying nobody can possibly prove his guilt so many years later. Innocent till proven guilty....

It is very unfortunate that this poor old man had to go through with this again, but not surprising.

This poor man was previously wrongly sentenced to death after various governments fabricated evidence indicating that he was Ivan the terrible. He would have been hung if it wasn't for the hard work of his family and Jim Traficant, who was the only US politician to get involved (all others were terrified to get involved). Even after Traficant had the evidence that he was wrongly accused, nobody in the US government wanted to get involved. So we should be very suspicious of any evidence against Demjanjuk; we know for a fact that they are willing to do anything to get him.

Lately, Germany and it's courtrooms have been getting weirder and weirder. Is it the whole country, or just those with enough wallop to be the ones being heard from outside of the country? What happened.

@sabiwabi

I am certain he is innocent

I don't see how you can say that if you really believe "nobody can possibly prove his guilt so many years later". The point is that after so long, nobody can be certain of anything. And therefore he has to be considered innocent, whether he is or not.

What is amazing is that there was no evidence that Demjanjuk committed a specific crime. The prosecution was based solely on the theory that if Demjanjuk was at the camp, he was a participant in whatever happened there.

That was as a guard at a different camp (Treblinka). They're saying he's someone different now.

Germany wants to pretend that only a few deranged people participated in the holocaust, but they won't admit so many willfully ignored what was going on.

The "they" who are saying he is someone different now are the same ones who previously lied, deceived, and fabricated evidence saying he was Ivan the Terrible.

Looks like Sabi is aligning himself with the Jews on this one. He's probably getting too much of his information from the MSM.
