Democracy is in decline, especially in the USA, which mistakenly believes democracy can be spread by military intervention. Iraq is a picture of success, isn't it?

There “is a critical need for leadership from the United States and other democracies,” the “Freedom in the World 2013” report said, arguing in favor of a greater U.S. engagement with civil society in oppressed nations.

Truely funny !

"There “is a critical need for leadership from the United States and other democracies,” the “Freedom in the World 2013” report said, arguing in favor of a greater U.S. engagement with civil society in oppressed nations."

It is precisely BECAUSE of their kind of activity that democracy is in decline!
