Just what democrats need, another centrist who'll set bankers' minds at ease and tell us how we should be realistic and accept incremental change. After all, 30 years with neoliberals in charge has played absolutely no role in century-high inequality or creating Trumpism.

Bernie, Warren or and if we have to accept a more moderate figure, Harris.

She said, "He's not too far left, as some people are, and I think he could appeal to a lot of voters."

In other words, same old same old. Safe, centrist and sell-out.

Wake up, Democrats.

I'm ready and waiting for the usual suspects who had never heard of this guy 3 months ago to tell me how utterly useless he is and that he doesn't stand a chance.  Just like they did with Obama.

A whooping crowd of 120?

Headline says “big crowds”? So I guess he is the candidate of the week now.

A whooping crowd of 120?

Almost as big as Trump's inauguration.

*A whooping crowd of 120?*

Almost as big as Trump's inauguration.

Its funny because its true.

Uh not exactly. I’ve been to birthday parties with more people than Beto had.

To bad they weren't celebrating you...

So many candidates but you can only choose one. Sooner rather than later each one is going to start attacking each other.

There is not a Trump like candidate that everyone can attack at the same time so the damage to each candidate will be significant.

Will be a pleasure to see who isn’t diverse enough or progressive enough as they are eliminated one by one. Old, white, male, against Green New Deal. One by one eliminated.

Beto has a serious DUI conviction in his past. As much as the media tries to gloss over this, it's probably going to be a deal breaker for many voters, especially those with kids.

I'm not saying that a DUI disqualifies you from ever having good ideas or leadership, but just think about the level of narcissism and shamelessness you would need to willingly put yourself up for the highest office in the land knowing that your shady past would be exposed to the world. It's a massive red flag as far as mental health is concerned.

Trump got elected under suspicion of having groped a bunch of women, and exposed for walking around in the miss America dressing rooms unannounced. And he got elected.

I don't think America cares about the things it used to. Trump threw that all out the window. If a groper can be elected president, so can a drunk driver!

He is a capitalist. That will disqualify him more than any DUI ever will.

Wake me in a year.

as he tries to translate his sudden celebrity into a formidable White House bid.

Obama 2.0!

Oprah thinks Beto is wonderful.

And?

And Beyonce thinks Beto is wonderful! She also thought Hillary was wonderful!

Hey... if Beto can't even beat Ted Cruz, howz he gonna be the Trumpster?

Can't wait for Trump to live tweet the Democrat debates.

Beto seems like he’s high 24/7. And that’s basically it, he’s like a 46-year-old pothead who decided to run for office.

Me, I'd vote for the next Mafia boss over Donald Trump, but I'd rather wait until the debates to sort out the real candidates from the pretenders.

One of the other ways they'll separate themselves from the pack is how they react to articles like this. We know how Republicans react-----they try to kill the messenger. Democrats can't be doing that.

I have a feeling that "Tear down that wall" won't exactly work for Beta the same it did for Reagan.

And Beyonce thinks Beto is wonderful! She also thought Hillary was wonderful!

And? You're not really expecting the rest of us to be ignorant enough to think any conclusions can be drawn from this m, are you?
