All gone pear-shaped for the Republicans.

They were so looking forward to giving the Democrats a spanking but punched themselves in the face instead.

Just not good enough.

Senator Rick Scott as Minority Leader in the Senate?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

@Blacklabel is very quiet. Although, I know his response.... 'but the house....'

Indeed. The end for Trump I believe. Hopefully the Republicans will field a much more sensible candidate in 2024. If not, They will tear themselves apart as it's very clear that Trump is not the person to unify the Republicans.

15 ( +17 / -2 )

They keep control and might increase to a clear majority 51 - 49 if they can win the run off in Georgia. A tiny Blue wave in the senate as opposed to the giant Red tsunami that was predicted.

The house remains a battlefield that could tip either way before it is over. An outstanding result for America and democracy.

Trumps drive to appoint people more loyal to him than to the GOP or America has failed to bring the results he wanted. Another great result for US democracy.

The GOP now needs to plan for 2024 with no Trump and no Trump influence. He had his time in the oval office and failed his country miserably. If the GOP wants to have the best possible chance in 2024 it must divest itself of all things Trump. If it doesnt it will have an internal bloodbath that could see it remain on the outer for many more years.

Once again, democracy is saved and the extreme rhetoric of the MAGA gang has been defeated..

Women's reproductive rights and their social impact were greatly underestimated by conservatives..

If the conservatives continue to mess with women's reproductive rights, civil liberties and minority rights, GOP will continue to be the biggest loser of Unites States..

Thanks democrats, thanks women, thanks minorities and thank you Joe..

"Red wave", wahahahahahahahaha!!!!...

Well, I will continue to enjoy this victory while I prepare to watch the Sumo tournament on TV, bye !!..

Meanwhile at Mar-a-Lago lair....

LOOOOL !!!..

Once again, democracy is saved and the extreme rhetoric of the MAGA gang has been defeated..

Quite strange to hear you say this on one article and then support the invasion of a democratic nation on another.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Seeking reelection in an economically challenged state that has some of the highest gas prices in the nation, Cortez Masto was considered the Senate's most vulnerable member, adding to the frustration of Republicans who were confident she could be defeated.

Another troubling sign for the right is the expansion of AOC's "Squad" this election.

It is in keeping with younger voters support of them and Bernie and interest in democratic socialist policies.

Bad news for the right and neo-liberal corporate masters, but good news for the American people.

Indeed. The end for Trump I believe. Hopefully the Republicans will field a much more sensible candidate in 2024. If not, They will tear themselves apart as it's very clear that Trump is not the person to unify the Republicans.

The Republican Party is at this time unwilling to nominate a "much more sensible candidate in 2024". A much more sensible candidate, like a Governor John Sununu of New Hampshire or a Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan will NEVER win in the 2024 primary and instead will be left with Ron DeSantis who will be bloodied to near death as a result of trump's unwillingness to let go of his narcissistic need to win a second term and be relevant.

The 2024 GOP primary at all levels from local, state and national will be a bloodbath like none ever witnessed as GOP candidates are forced to take sides with either trump or DeSantis and the Democrats will just sit back and and throw their own campaign funds at whomever is the more crazy to help them win their primaries.

“Nationally, VoteCast showed that 7 in 10 voters said the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade was an important factor in their midterm decisions.”

I kept hearing about multiple ‘nails in the coffin’ for ‘the libs’ and all the while kept replying this issue alone would save them.

A lesson learned? I highly doubt it. They are already calling fraud and to raise the voting age. Sore losers.

Red, red whine.

10 ( +13 / -3 )

George W. Bush and Barack Obama will hold back-to-back disinformation conferences following Trump's 'big announcement' on Tuesday - but organizers say it wasn't planned.

Bush, 76, will host his The Struggle for Freedom conference in Dallas on November 16, while Obama's democracy conference will be held in New York City on the 17th.

Trump's big announcement - largely rumored to be his 2024 presidential campaign announcement - is set for Tuesday.

@theResident,

Lille b can’t even say that yet because the GQP hasn’t gotten there yet. It probably will but not yet and if it’ll DOES…..

It will be a VINO, lol. A Victory In Name Only. Yep, the committee chairs will flip. Yep, there will be too many BS investigations to count. But with a caucus of lunatics, morons, and racists, the “common sense” solutions that Kevin and Youngkin talked up will be nowhere in sight.

hard to think of a better reason to vote blue, next cycle.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

This is great Sunday news !

11 ( +13 / -2 )

There go mtg’s dreams of finally getting a bill past the ‘introduction’ stage. Currently batting at 0 out of 26 bills she’s wasted everyone’s time on.

Why do people vote for this loser?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

It is becoming clearer and clearer that there were two winners on Nov 9th - the Dems and the RINOs...

And one huge loser - Trump and MAGA-world...

All one has to do is look at what's happening at Mar-A-Lago according to Trump's own inner circle...

Former President Donald Trump is in "self-destruct mode" and becoming isolated from his inner circle as he reels over the midterm-election results, sources told the CBS correspondent Robert Costa.

In the last few days, Trump has lashed out at his main GOP political rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, whom he has nicknamed Ron DeSanctimonious, and Virginia. Gov. Glenn Youngkin, whose name he bizarrely said, "sounds Chinese." In both instances, Trump took credit for their rise to power through his endorsements.

"I have never seen him more irresponsible and chaotic than he is today," a Trump advisor told Costa, the chief election-and-campaign correspondent at CBS.

"He seems to be in self-destruct mode. It is irresponsible to attack DeSantis and Youngkin, and it's irresponsible to announce at any time in the near future."

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-self-destruct-mode-becoming-095351065.html

"Self-destruct mode", "isolated", irresponsible", "chaotic"...sure doesn't sound like 'winning"...

Once again, democracy is saved

Getting the House, amen to that. Now the extreme Biden agenda is like the Spruce Goose, just a dream.

Women's reproductive rights and their social impact were greatly underestimated by conservatives..

Yes, as Crime, the open borders the defunding of the police were heavily and irresponsibly underestimated by the Democrats.

If the conservatives continue to mess with women's reproductive rights, civil liberties and minority rights, GOP will continue to be the biggest loser of Unites States..

And if the Democrats continue to ignore the border, continue to demonize the police, indoctrinate our kids with a woke distorted culture, and to continue to ignore crime, inflation as well as our civil liberties, the 1st and 2nd amendment they will be the biggest losers in the US.

Thanks democrats, thanks women, thanks minorities and thank you Joe..

Thanks GOP, thank you hardworking Americans, thank you Trump and definitely thank you, RDS

"Red wave", wahahahahahahahaha!!!!...

Well, you got the Senate and we got the House. Win, win.

-22 ( +4 / -26 )

"Red wave", wahahahahahahahaha!!!!...

Well, you got the Senate and we got the House. Win, win.

Once again, you don’t. Not yet. And if you do, good luck getting ANYTHING done with that band of nut jobs you call a cult, er “party”.

Your cult, “PARTY” (apologies) vastly underperformed both historical trends and expectations. The American electorate had a choice and chose (mostly) “not the nutters please.” (We will circle back to Gun Barbie Boebert next cycle.)

So hop on the Trump Train, b. Your headed to loser-town for some losing, lol.

15 ( +18 / -3 )

There go mtg’s dreams of finally getting a bill past the ‘introduction’ stage. Currently batting at 0 out of 26 bills she’s wasted everyone’s time on.

Guess MTG and Biden won’t get what they want, but at least the Dems have the Senate and the GOP the house

Why do people vote for this loser?

Heck if I know…

-12 ( +3 / -15 )

bass4funk

you must be so disappointed.

The Republicans haven't won the house yet. The gap is closing.

GOP is going to implode in the coming months.

It's not over until the fat man sings.

14 ( +17 / -3 )

Once again, you don’t. Not yet.

Wait! You can predict the Senate’s fate, but I’m not allowed to say the House’s fate? Because you say so? ROFL….anyway….

And if you do, good luck getting ANYTHING done with that band of nut jobs you call a cult, er “party”.

Well, the same goes for Biden, maybe he should buy some of Trump’s Sharpie’s, he’s going to need them.

Your cult, “PARTY” (apologies) vastly underperformed

And the Dems as well, with the exception of the House, we are somewhat back where we started

So hop on the Trump Train,

Ahhh, that’s what you meant earlier.

Your headed to loser-town for some losing, lol.

As is this President

-Cheers

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

The GOP civil war is coming. The democrats can grab the popcorn and sit back and watch it unfold.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

“The Red Wave is coming!”

Regurgitating what corporate FOX news says is not very intelligent.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Unlikely, but mathematically the democrats can still win the House. However, the Republican majority will be small.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

The cost of these elections is $15 billion. OMG!

At least when it is over we can watch the World Cup for awhile instead of the American elections.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Guess MTG and Biden won’t get what they want

Biden is the US President until January 2025. Don’t start that ‘lame duck’ nonsense again.

Also, as has been pointed out to you numerous times, the slim majority of the house will itself be divided between the absolute loons and the responsible republicans willing to work together. The loons will just keep wasting time as usual, while the sensible ones who had a short sharp shock this week will be distancing themselves from the more ‘out there’ colleagues.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Once again, democracy is saved

Getting the House, amen to that. Now the extreme Biden agenda is like the Spruce Goose, just a dream.

That's what John Boehner said....then he quit. Then Paul Ryan said it....then he quit...

Now Kevin "Trump should resign" McCarthy can try - with a crazed Freedom Caucus and maybe a single digit majority...

Women's reproductive rights and their social impact were greatly underestimated by conservatives..

Yes, as Crime, the open borders the defunding of the police were heavily and irresponsibly underestimated by the Democrats.

Someone is in deep denial - if that were true then we really would have seen a Red Wave instead of a Red Whimper...

Biggest Loser would be Trump, according to Murdoch's own WSJ...

https://thehill.com/homenews/media/3729130-wall-street-journal-labels-trump-biggest-republican-loser/

Thanks democrats, thanks women, thanks minorities and thank you Joe..

Thanks GOP, thank you hardworking Americans, thank you Trump and definitely thank you, RDS

The two biggest thank you's for this election;

Trump for selecting a whole bunch of kooky, radical, incompetent Repub candidates...

Justice Alito for showing that all women; Dem, Repub, and Independent don't want Big Government interfering with their bodies..

"Red wave", wahahahahahahahaha!!!!...

Well, you got the Senate and we got the House. Win, win.

So a majority of RINOs being re-elected is a "win"? Just another flip from what they were saying before Nov 9th...

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Regurgitating what corporate FOX news says is not very intelligent.

I agree. It’s a serious issue in modern politics. Gets folks all riled up.

Which makes all the backpedaling now (despite posted comment history) all the more baffling. A ‘brutal’ red wave was predicted incessantly by our most prominent conservative posters. Wherever did such an idea come from?

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Unlikely,

Very, very unlikely.

However, the Republican majority will be small.

Doesn't matter, Biden got neutered

-15 ( +2 / -17 )

14 ( +15 / -1 )

Biden is the US President until January 2025. Don’t start that ‘lame duck’ nonsense again.

No, he is a lame duck especially now that he will have to beg money from Kevin….or Jim…

Also, as has been pointed out to you numerous times, the slim majority of the house will itself be divided between the absolute loons and the responsible republicans willing to work together.

It has also been pointed out to you, it doesn’t matter, in the end, it’s not going to stop the GOP’s control and no matter how much flapping around on dry land, Biden is now financially to the GOP. Pass that on please to Zelenskyy.

The loons will just keep wasting time as usual, while the sensible ones who had a short sharp shock this week will be distancing themselves from the more ‘out there’ colleagues.

I see….well, anyway, no money, no Biden agenda. So I’m good.

-14 ( +2 / -16 )

Even the House Election Results show Republicans still strugling to achive majority (118) seats.

Currently at US 11/13/2022 midnight: Dem 204 vs Rep 211 (only 7 seats difference)

correction:

The cost of these elections is $15 billion. OMG!

Yep! And my post the other day

In other words, Control of Congress in the balance between the rich and the rich

still got downvoted by half of us. I guess those are the rich half. LOL

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

A ‘brutal’ red wave was predicted incessantly by our most prominent conservative posters

The fact that you listened / reacted to it doesn’t say much.

Sure it does. It means they were wrong and I wasn’t.

It’s a forum. People read other comments and react to them.

You can react to this one again too. Welcome.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Struggling a bit there Bass?

I stopped when I was in 3rd grade

All your predictions falling around your ears?

No, happy about the house, really. Happy about Florida going beet read, happy I don’t have to hear anymore from O’Rourke or Abrams, happy that the GOP expanded their congressional seats in once stronghold Democrat zones, so yeah, not sure what you’re talking about…

Problem is, when you are so one-eyed you can't see the full picture.

Oh, but I do, I don’t think you guys do.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

A ‘brutal’ red wave was predicted incessantly by our most prominent conservative posters

The fact that you listened / reacted to it doesn’t say much

Did you come across anything from the consp…sorry ‘alternative news’ outlets regarding this election?

Any mass fraud going on?

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Once again, you don’t. Not yet.

Wait! You can predict the Senate’s fate, but I’m not allowed to say the House’s fate? Because you say so? ROFL….anyway….

I’m not predicting anything. It’s a fact. The Democrats won NV, that gets them to 50. The VP gets them 51 (51 without her when Hershel 2-abortions gets dropped by the party like one of his children).

So, not because “I say so”, silly B - because it IS SO., lol.

You, on the other hand cannot yet make any of the same claims of fact.

I suspect after so many (many) years of being wrong, probably wrong, that will not serve as much deterrent in being wrong again.

But your ridiculous predictions are none the less well, ridiculous.

NV goes Blue, Senate goes Blue, America wins, you don’t.

ROFL.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

The Senate's steady confirmation of President Joe Biden's judicial nominees will continue for two more years, after Democrats retained the chamber.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

The red wave turned out to be nothing more than a Republican ketchup bottle. Good for burgers and hot dogs.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

I’m not predicting anything.

Yeah, you are.

So, not because “I say so”, silly B - because it IS SO., lol.

No, you think so

You, on the other hand cannot yet make any of the same claims of fact.

Yes, the Dems don’t have the House. That’s a statistical fact. Irrefutable.

I suspect after so many (many) years of being wrong,

Now that statement in itself is wrong

But your ridiculous predictions are none the less well, ridiculous.

Nope, I said we would get the House, Texas and Florida will remain red and I was right. Total vindication.

NV goes Blue, Senate goes Blue,

House went and going to be red

America wins, so did I. Biden, no money equals happiness, a win for the US.

ROFL.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

The Senate's steady confirmation of President Joe Biden's judicial nominees will continue for two more years, after Democrats retained the chamber.

Should there be a retirement.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

There will be a dramatic split in the GOP with Trump and his supporters on the one side, and the opposing who no longer want him.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Getting the House, amen to that. Now the extreme Biden agenda is like the Spruce Goose, just a dream.

actually not, by controlling the senate Biden can still pick new judges without obstruction by the gop,

Biden has already picked more judges than Trump did in 4yrs, now he can basically double down on liberal judges that follow the constitution, making those Trump federalist judges far more mute. LOL

6 ( +6 / -0 )

The red wave turned out to be nothing more than a Republican ketchup bottle. Good for burgers and hot dogs.

actually its being called Purple rain lol

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Texas and Florida were already red states. Nothing won there.

Abortion is legal in Florida but bans them after 15 weeks, unless for medical reasons.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

There will be a dramatic split in the GOP with Trump and his supporters on the one side, and the opposing who no longer want him.

Not so sure, more left wing speculation

actually not, by controlling the senate Biden can still pick new judges without obstruction by the gop,

Well, that’s only if someone retires. And I don’t think anyone is thinking of retiring now, definitely not while this guy is in office

Biden has already picked more judges than Trump did in 4yrs,

But not for the Supreme Court, he can’t just rubber stamp them in and kick them out. We still have the filibuster. And for the lower courts, Schumer has to beat Mitch’s record….oh, already done that, little over 350 as I recall…

Yeah, good luck with that one, even the Dems know Mitch checkmated them on that one.

-17 ( +0 / -17 )

This just in from Mo Brooks:

“It would be a bad mistake for the Republicans to have Donald Trump as their nominee in 2024,” Brooks told AL.com. “Donald Trump has proven himself to be dishonest, disloyal, incompetent, crude and a lot of other things that alienate so many independents and Republicans. Even a candidate who campaigns from his basement can beat him.”

OOD, that’s harsh. Accurate but harsh.

14 ( +14 / -0 )

I see….well, anyway, no money, no Biden agenda. So I’m good.

doesnt stop the executive order, or the veto pen.

Biden has passed more legislation in congress in 2yrs than Trump did in 4

12 ( +12 / -0 )

As Wallace points out, TX and FL were already Red. Silly B predicted both Houses, and we all know it.

Its also the only one that doesn’t know that the Senate is confirmed Blue, the House is not confirmed Red yet (although a tissue thin majority is more likely than not), and that Kevin and his “leadership” will amount to a wet fart in a hurricane in terms of his ability to impeded Biden’s agenda.

There are a few Republicans who still are interested in getting things done. They know Kevin is a short-time seat warmer. There will be enough votes there to accomplish things. Just not the things the goobers are hoping for.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

There will be a dramatic split in the GOP with Trump and his supporters on the one side, and the opposing who no longer want him.

> Not so sure, more left wing speculation

Already informed you many times, including yesterday, I am not leftwing or rightwing. It is my posted opinion.

If Trump fails to win the nomination for 2024 and instead DeSantis is selected, Trump and his supporters will be on the warpath. Many Republicans are blaming Trump for the election failures.

But nonetheless, my speculation is just as valid as the many you also post.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

doesnt stop the executive order, or the veto pen.

Yes, that’s what I want, more executive orders from this administration

Biden has passed more legislation in congress in 2yrs than Trump did in 4

Good, more to be undone when Trump or DeSantis is president.

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

bass4funkToday  03:04 pm JST

Nope, I said we would get the House..

"We"? You've given up pretending to be an independent who hates both parties equally, then.

House went and going to be red

Not very red, though.

12 ( +12 / -0 )

freedom through fascism! Remember, Putin is a Christian nationalist while Ukraine tolerates woke ideology! PLEASE run on this in 2024.

Lol, I don’t even know what that means.

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

Already informed you many times, including yesterday, I am not leftwing or rightwing. It is my posted opinion.

Hmmmm

If Trump fails to win the nomination for 2024 and instead DeSantis is selected, Trump and his supporters will be on the warpath.

I doubt it.

Many Republicans are blaming Trump for the election failures.

And there are many that are not.

But nonetheless, my speculation is just as valid as the many you also post.

No one said or eluded that it wasn’t. Huh? Lol

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

you neglected to add the pejorative RINO, Bass. Already slipping up, I see.

Not slipping, Rubio and other Republicans, less establishment are putting him in their crosshairs

yeah, that’s becoming increasingly clear

The left not making sense is not my fault

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

"We"? You've given up pretending to be an independent

Nope.

who hates both parties equally, then.

Yes, but the Democrats even more.

Not very red, though.

Red enough to stop Biden’s agenda, there’s only so much you can do without money.

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

Although reluctant to feel victorious, the results offer a tiny glimmer of hope for the future of democracy in the US and beyond.

A fundamental christian nationalist movement led by a man without a single human quality has proved too extreme for the majority of Americans. Their campaign of denying legitimate election results, denying women control over their own bodies and voter suppression is alienating even moderate Republicans.

Their insistence on portraying the Democrats as 'radical left' is projection at its craven worst. By world democratic standards the majority of Democrats would be considered moderate conservatives at most.

The maga movement is an extreme expression of impotent rage that offers nothing to the moderate voter. It is a political dead end. Trump-endorsed candidates were a ragtag jokers gallery of conspiracy theorists, rapture-craving christian fundamentalists and whoever he found waiting at the bus station who would proclaim fealty to his ego.

I am not feeling victorious because it has not gone away. DeSantis is just as bad.

But as they say, Florida is to America what Russia is to the world.

"We"? You've given up pretending to be an independent"

Nope.

Really? Then who's "we?" You and...?

"who hates both parties equally, then."

Yes, but the Democrats even more.

And the Republicans not very much at all, apparently.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Already informed you many times, including yesterday, I am not leftwing or rightwing. It is my posted opinion

emmm yeah, if you don’t follow the NEW left corporate war narrative you are a right wing racist conspiracy theorist.

-13 ( +0 / -13 )

Really? Then who's "we?" You and...?

What? Lol

And the Republicans not very much at all, apparently.

Well, killing Biden’s radical progressive agenda and starving it is a huge thing. Ever tried to do a job and not get paid? Trust me, it sucks.

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

Ever tried to do a job and not get paid? Trust me, it sucks.

That wall thing from a few years ago? Oh yeah, I remember that. Bipartisan opposition, wasn’t it?

If I remember correctly you were quite cheerful about veto power back then. Do you remember?

Funny how life is a circle, isn’t it?

10 ( +10 / -0 )

That wall thing from a few years ago? Oh yeah, I remember that. Bipartisan opposition, wasn’t it?

Until the illegals move into their neighborhoods, then “it’s but wait!” Martha’s Vineyard, what, one day? So liberals are racially tolerant when it doesn’t encroach on their territory, when it’s a conservative community send them there all day long, just not in my backyard, please!

If I remember correctly you were quite cheerful about veto power back then.

Yes, and when it comes to freedom, democracy for everyone and that includes the 1st and 2nd amendment, all day long.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

There is another side to this coin.

The timing of this mid term and the high turn out for young voters had an undeniable influence on this election outcomes across battleground states.

The decision in Dobbs v. Jackson shocked the electorate, swung the vote in the democrats favour.

There is another more pressing and ultimately troubling shock yet to be fully appreciated and felt.

What? Lol

You and not as many other people as you would like to make out, is my guess.

Well, killing Biden’s radical progressive agenda and starving it is a huge thing.

Yet the Republicans haven't exactly pulled off "huge" victories this time round, have they.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Bass4,lots of Republicans that voted to impeach Trump got re elected

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Yes, and when it comes to freedom, democracy for everyone and that includes the 1st and 2nd amendment, all day long.

How about the 26th amendment?

Do you fully support it?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

You and not as many other people as you would like to make out, is my guess.

I disagree. I think both sides underestimated this midterm, Dems didn’t take crime, the border and inflation seriously and the GOP didn’t take the abortion issue seriously, so most people decided they will decide to trust the GOP with curtailing spending and cutting crime and the Democrats with reproductive rights, so not everyone got what they ultimately wanted, but both sides come out as winners. The GOP got the House and the Dems retain the Senate

Yet the Republicans haven't exactly pulled off "huge" victories this time round, have they.

Actually, they did, in Florida, Texas and even chipping away at California's liberal firewall.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

Bass4,lots of Republicans that voted to impeach Trump got re elected

No, only 2 out of the 11

-14 ( +0 / -14 )

Ron DeSantis will be the Republican candidate for Pres in 2024. Hopefully by then Donald Trump will be "locked up".

6 ( +7 / -1 )

A guy cant even be traveling without being smacktalked in his absence.

ah well we still have the House. If that is taken away too, then we still have the Supreme Court. If not we have 2024.

Meanwhile people in blue states get what you voted for. Continued crime and crippling inflation and a president that doesn’t know Cambodia from Colombia.

if “Republicans” are actually fine with what happened (again), then they deserve what they got. Trump can save them again, but they don’t want him to- so let’s see how it goes for them.

Where they were never actually in any danger of losing, right?

and even chipping away at California's liberal firewall.

Doesn't sound nearly as impressive as "knocking it down."

ah well we still have the House. If that is taken away too, then we still have the Supreme Court. If not we have 2024.

A far cry from your statement just a week ago. Allow me to quote you:

“next week- oh we knew that was gonna happen, totally expected that we would lose! it was "only" 30 seats, thats not a "red wave"! we knew we were losing the Senate and the House but Trump had no impact on it. His candidates would have won without his endorsement! the tears and election denialism (under a new name like "concern for democracy") is gonna be glorious.”

30 seats? Senate and the House? His candidates? Election denialism?

Oh my. How glorious.

No, only 2 out of the 11

It’s gonna be only 1 once the guy who is ahead in California loses next week on day 11 of vote counting.

Only 53% of the votes in his race have been counted as of day 6.

There's always 2028 to look forward to.
