“But the Trump supporters are out there, and they’re still intense.”

Especially intense are Trump's 'elite' supporters, those supporters who give two rat's for the general population suffering from the pandemic bungled by Trump's admin (and leadership at all levels) plus a collapsed economy that has little if any chance to recover the stability seen during President Obama's terms.

The 'elite' know under Trump's watch they've never had it so good.

While the general population suffer.

Good! We can't be over-confident about Biden winning the election.

Let's face it--given the last few years, whatever the polls say, whatever happens, is going to make the democrats nervous. And that is healthy--it will help maintain the momentum to November.

Even the bombshell about Russia paying bounty on dead American soldiers , trump knowing about it and still pushing for Russia entering G7 is not enough.

The GOP will stand behind trump because they don’t have the courage , even if it means American soldiers getting killed.

So this time Russia is the enemy and China is the helper? Has this narrative been set or will it keep changing?

Dems only hope is election fraud. Which is why the polls need to show these large leads to get people to think a Biden “win” is even possible.

More gaslighting from the team of gerrymandering and voter suppression.

You don’t expect us to believe what you say over what you do, do you?

I'm ignoring the current polls. You can bet even money that on the evening of November 3, Wolf Blitzer will go on CNN and tell his viewers that exit polls show it's a dead heat. This ultimately gives the losing side a chance to say the winner cheated. Ho, hum -- here we go again.

Trump can clearly still win this. This is the message that must go out to ensure everyone votes Democrat. Please vote. The country and the world is counting on you.

So this time Russia is the enemy and China is the helper?

Russia and China were friends only to the right wing haters.

Their leader trump pretended to hate China while taking both knees to plead to trump.

coronavirus deaths are way down. unemployment rate is also down and dropping as people get back to work. The "reckoning over racism" is done, as both Pelosi and Schumer already forgot the name of George Floyd.

the left is reduced to arguing over who voices cartoon characters and renaming buildings named after racist Democrats.

Only thing left on the "racism" side is to rename Yale, Princeton, Stanford and New York City. Also "Clemson" University on the "confederate" side.

a public health crisis, mass unemployment and a reckoning over racism

And a series of national and battleground polls suggests growing obstacles to Trump's reelection.

The Trump era is drawing to a close. The Democrats will have the worst mess in US history to try to clean up. And given the sorry state of the US now, who knows whether they'll be able to do so.

What should worry the Democrats - and the handful of Republicans who still care about the country and the general population - is what the lame duck Trump admin might try to get away with before their swamp is drained.

Yes, even in the unlikely event Trump loses, the previous administration has already set the blueprint for what is allowable.

Do all the similar Obamagate activities, set up their incoming transition team for later investigations, pardon every single Trump supporter who has been wronged, then come back to clean up the Biden mess in 2025.

Its a win/win.

CIA Director, National Security Advisor, and the Chief of Staff can all

not be believed - they are Trump appointees and like Trump unafraid to provide 'intentional misinformations'. Trump fractals.

Big turnaround reading Trump followers now use US intelligence agencies as a source.

In China probably, definitely not in the US.

Biden is doing just fine with voters. The accompanying photo with this article is proof positive that a guy who's been a fixture of Washington D.C. politics for nearly a half century has no problem drawing hoards of enthusiastic supporters to his rallies. Providing those rallies are held at a Starbucks during the lunch hour.

I keep seing posts which say "When Trump loses in November" or "When Biden wins by a landslide".

I think it isn't a good idea to set yourself up for repeat of 2016. People have moved further into their own bubbles since then, and they don't hear/talk/know or understand what goes on outside of it as much as they used to. From an outsider's perspective, Trump looks certain to win at this point.

The Democrats are overconfident in that they believe they automatically have the Black voters in their hip pocket. But there are many law abiding Blacks who do not subscribe to the BLM goals and are disgusted with their riots, defamation and vandalism of historical monuments and statues.

On the other hand, Biden also has to be careful in picking his Black VP. If he picks Harris or Deming, who are part of the law enforcement establishment, he's going to risk the wrath of BLM and more riots. Hank Newsome has stated, "When a Black joins the police, they're no longer Black; they are Blue." He also said, "If the U.S. does not give us what we want, we will burn down this system."

And if he backpedals and picks a white woman VP such as Elizabeth Warren or (heaven forbid) Hillary Clinton, he risks losing the Black voters altogether.

Biden is pretty much on a thin ice, backed in a corner, caught between a rock and hard place trying to placate everybody.

The Trump era is drawing to a close.

Can Dems be patient until 2024? They just might get chance.

The Democrats will have the worst mess in US history to try to clean up.

And the Dems will do as they usually do, nothing....

And given the sorry state of the US now, who knows whether they'll be able to do so.

What should worry the Democrats - and the handful of Republicans who still care about the country and the general population -

But when will Democrats start caring, that’s the question everyone should be asking.

is what the lame duck Trump admin might try to get away with before their swamp is drained.

Maybe if the Dems didn’t try so hard to defend the swamp, Trump could drain it.
