DeSantis' embrace of federal help is a shift from his early days as a congressman, when he voted against a federal relief package for New York and New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy. That drew criticism this week from some New York-area officials and other Democrats who described the turnaround as a move from cruel to hypocritical.

DeSantis is nothing but a craven political hypocrite....

He voted against any federal money for other states when they were struck by major storms - saying it was a waste of funds.... Now, he's completely flipped and is welcoming federal help when he's Governor....

And when there's no emergency, he does nothing but engage in pure political theater designed to manipulate and fool the MAGA-masses. Then when the hurricane hits, he turns all nice and rational...

He's as big a swindler and fraud as his fellow Floridian at Mar-A-Lago....

Translation: the left Hits another snag at trying to turn the state blue.

Yes, happens all the time in politics, he thought he didn’t need the funds, probably looked and checked the States emergency finances and assessed the growing damage and thought maybe the estimation of the damage was far worse than predicted, and now needs the funding. That’s good, at least the man just didn’t blindly take the money without batting an eyelash the way Dems do.

Thinking methodically on using funds and how to properly appropriate them is the right responsible way to proceed on these tragic issues, it’s our money after all.

And when there's no emergency, he does nothing but engage in pure political theater designed to manipulate and fool the MAGA-masses.

To counterattack the barrage of political asinine attacks being hurled at him, he should. When someone punches you, you punch back.

Then when the hurricane hits, he turns all nice and rational...

Democrats will play for the cameras as well, if you like your doctor you can keep him or mark my words, we will not close down any coal mines, yeah, it’s not just one side that plays nice.

He's as big a swindler and fraud as his fellow Floridian at Mar-A-Lago....

The left continue to try and sell that garbage line, thankfully, no one is buying it.And his popularity will win him thankfully another term.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has whipsawed his way through the national conversation this month, first by putting migrants on planes or buses to Democratic strongholds and then shifting to a more traditional role of crisis manager as one of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the U.S. barreled into his state.

President in training.

This guy is great.

He has done more for Florida than Biden has ever done for the country in his entire political career.

The other states should just send busloads of broken telegraph poles. Seems only fair.
