Why does China even pretend to have a legal system? It is no more valid than their "parliament".

Wang Quanzhang's kangaroo court sentencing is indeed an outrage. It is not just an outrage against the man but against every Chinese citizen and resident alien in the country. It is, in the end, against all of us.
I don't know about the rest of you readers, but I am not buying Chinese products or using Chinese services until Wang Quanzhang Is free and China's human rights violations cease.

The system in China scares me. Too many times have people simply vanished for raising an opinion that gains recognition.

Why does China even pretend to have a legal system?
Because their farce of a legal system requires a fake appearance for the sake of convincing the majority of Chinese it has legitimacy. But really what it does is help enforce strict obedience, attained through force if necessary, for the purpose of maintaining total control by the communist party. A cog in the machine. To do this they must silence the critics and opposition, and their so-called legal system does it's duty locking people up and intimidating the majority. Doesn't look so good when they have to deal with the outside world.

It's a lost cause to work for human rights in Chinese legal system, which denies human rights by upholding absolute power of the Political Party. Only way for human rights to be withheld in China is to dispose the party from the power. China needs a true revolution.

Describe "Chinese products."

The legal system is for all matters that does not contradict with or affect the ruling government. Personal disputes, financial disputes between firms, employment disputes, ...

It's a farce no matter to what it is applied.

Ah oh, those pesky human rights activists. Don't they know they loose social credits for such actions? Winny the Xi has the final say. And 4/.5 years to regain a 0 social credit account probably better than "volunteering" for re-education at a club med camp. You know similar to detention in Japan. Human rights mean nothing to Asian countries it's all about appeasing the individual in charges sence of control. If I was in charge everyone would obey me or suffer. And I would claim they abused my human rights as I too would be a living God. Better than an emperor.
