It is up to Israel to decide how to proceed with its self-defense efforts against the murderous terrorist group Hamas.

Israel is going to do whatever it takes to eliminate Hamas and its supporters, and has been doing so in compliance with international law.

Using precision in its attacks on military sights, Israel has cautiously approached its defensive strategy so that civilian deaths are at a minimum.

Hamas can stop the civilian casualties anytime, by not using civilians as human shields, yet Hamas and its supporters continue to commit war crimes.

The world should be outraged.

Nearly 10,000 dead Arabs from Israeli bombings 80% of them women and children. Bombing of civilians is against international law and is a war crime.

Even US had enough now and tell Israel to stop, Israel can choose not to obey but they'll lose privilege to get supply from US tax payer money if they choose to disobey.

Another things what happened during that "war", women still delivering babies, without clean water, electricity and even anesthesia.

I think for Israel should give a little time to allow Americans and others to get out of Gaza as soon as humanly possible but that window timeframe should be short so that Israel can continue its mission, other than that Israel should push on.

At this point The IDF and Lunatic Zionists are worse. Much much worse. They have killes multiple time more innocent Gazans. And the zionist settlers terrorist actions in the West Bank have gotten out of control. No sympathy for these disgraces to humanity. The international court of law should crush them and force them to pay reparations.

Does 'and others' include innocent Gazan children? Direct answer please.

Even if every member of Hamas were to step out of Gaza and offer themselves up to Israeli justice, Israel would never believe that there werent still some members hiding somewhere in Gaza. What you are asking for is impossible.

Welcome to the two state solution you never wanted Israel. Israel has lost and Hamas gets international state recognition. That is the end game. Israel was trying so hard to start a war they wanted but stuff up big time. Israel as fail it population. Net and his wife will be imprison and Net political party destroyed. What was Israel thinking allowing Hamas to attack. Don,t think 300,000 donut eating soft jewish reservist are going be able to fight a good fight in urban warfare. They will get annihilated against a hard experience urban warfare army of Fanatic Muslin of Hamas. Hoo Hah Hezbollah.

As long as it is acknowledged that Hamas is - daily - committing war crimes that are against international law. The Israel critics do not like to acknowledge this.

Don,t think 300,000 donut eating soft jewish reservist are going be able to fight a good fight in urban warfare. They will get annihilated against a hard experience urban warfare army of Fanatic Muslin of Hamas. Hoo Hah Hezbollah.

Your open support for terrorist organizations in every post undermines anything you have to say.

Soon the US will pass its bill to further fund Israel’s monstrous military killing machine so that they can erase all Palestinians from the face of this earth.

Those of you wishing Israel to “push on” are on the side of genocide.

If they’re smart and Hamas has a single shred of humanity, they will.

That was just the most hilarious and benign thing I have ever heard.

There is no "fighting". It's a one sided bombardment!

Zionists, eh. What are they like?

3 ( +10 / -7 )

Given the Israeli regime's attacks on Palestinian children, including babies, and other civilians PREDATES the creation of Hamas, it is ludicrous to say that the regime is doing so 'in response' to anything Hamas has done.

3 ( +11 / -8 )

To say it is antisemitic to oppose the Israeli regime shows either a determined misunderstanding of what antisemitic means, a determined misunderstanding of what Israel is, or a mindset as warped as the most notorious antisemites in history.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

Israel says it targets Hamas fighters and infrastructure and that the group endangers civilians by operating among them and in tunnels under civilian areas.

Israel shows great care and compassion towards civilians and has given more than two weeks advance notification to evacuate from certain areas that Israel is targeting but Hamas tells people to stay and many choose to stay in those areas. It is Hamas endangering the civilians.

Rocket fire from Gaza into Israel, and daily skirmishes between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah militants, has disrupted life for millions of Israelis and forced an estimated 250,000 to evacuate border towns.

Every rocket fired from Gaza into Israeli civilian areas is a war crime. Israelis are daily under attack.

Israel has established safe zones in Gaza for Palestinian Arab civilians, yet there are no safe zones anywhere in Israel.

Israel must eliminate and eradicate Hamas and its supporters using all means necessary, no matter what or how long it takes.

Yip sort of overlooks that the Israeli regime was firing rockets at the civilians of Gaza long before any rockets were fired back at Israeli regime militants.

If one were to believe the Hamas-manufactured news, but the world knows better than that because it would be a war crime, and no such charges have been made.

The Palestinian Arab regime though has been committing war crimes for decades yet the peaceful, only democratic country in the Middle East, Israel, has compassionately allowed the Arabs to live in Gaza and the West Bank, lands that rightfully belong to Israel.

The terrorists have worn out their welcome and now they will be exterminated, with extreme prejudice.

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

So some say Israel or more likely Netanyahu is not out to do genocide!

Well nothing. Yahoo is very careful what he says in English, but here's what he says in Hebrew translated in a tweet

You must remember what Amalek has done to you (the bible)

Now go smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay mam, woman, infant, and suckling, ox and sheep camel and ass"

This is a direct quote by Netanyahu! so don't ever come back and say that the killing of women and children is by accident!

-1 ( +8 / -9 )

Israel is going to do whatever it takes to eliminate Hamas and its supporters, and has been doing so in compliance with international law.

Actually NO

Israel is in violation of international law and it has been in violation of international law for decades. It is ignored international law. It is has annexed the goal on Heights. It is refused to return to to the pre-47 pre67 battle lines and has refused to allow the return of Palestinian refugees. All of this plus more have been against international law against UN resolutions. Israel is the country that has more resolutions against it that hit refuses to abide by. So don't say Israel will respect international law. It never has!

By what "Right" the right of force?

Allowed? They were there first! The democracy of Israel is the same democracy of apartheid South Africa and the argument that the land belongs to the Israelis and not the blacks, Oh sorry I mean the Arabs is also the same apartheid racist regime that existed in South Africa and now exists in Israel.

I'm just waiting for Netanyahu and people like you to talk about the "final solution" for the " Palestinian " problem!

2 ( +8 / -6 )

This is a direct quote by Netanyahu!

But you attributed the quote to the Bible. Which is it?

Israel is in violation of international law and it has been in violation of international law for decades.

Nah, but murdering 1400 civilians and kidnapping more than 200 is a violation of international and other laws.

Allowed? They were there first!

No, because Arabs and Jews lived in Gaza and the West Bank during the Palestine Mandate. Oh, and then Egypt took over Gaza, and Jordan took the West Bank. No problem with those countries occupying those lands?

I'm just waiting for Netanyahu and people like you to talk about the "final solution" for the " Palestinian " problem!

You already are.

Pro-Israel Western leaders and politicians are finally getting round to wondering how they should frame a cease-fire - a "pause" seems to be the word "du jour", something they are tentatively mooting and might go for if Netanyahu gives the nod. But the usual suspects are still united in their support of the "shock 'n' awe" - after all, they have nothing to lose but votes (a dread prospect that has a way of concentrating the mind of most of their ilk).

“War is hell.”

Yes, indeed.

Best not to start one in the first place, especially if you’re unprepared..

4 ( +7 / -3 )

The loss of civilian life is truly heartbreaking. Despite opposing a ceasefire, I still do not like loss of innocent life on either side of the conflict.

First off, this is neither a genocide or ethnic cleansing. Please stop using these terms. This is war. Using these words is quite irresponsible. If Israel wanted to to commit genocide or ethnic cleansing, they could have done it many times over.

I hear many people talking about how Israel is committing war crimes by bombing civilian area. This would be the case if Hamas was not conducting attacks from civilian areas...but they are. And before anybody says it is the most densely populated in area in the world, it's not. There are miles and miles of open beach they could attack from. According to the much vaunted UN, using civilians as a human shield is a war crime. I wonder why people are not calling them out for this? Furthermore, Hamas is openly proud of using their citizens as Martyrs. They said this just yesterday. “[The attacks are] just the first time … Will we have to pay a price? Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.” From the mouth of Ghazi Hamad, Hamas spokesperson. Hamas sees their people as expendable to their cause. So then, who is the one commiting war crimes?

The talk of a cease fire is ludicrous. After Pearl Harbor, did people ask for a ceasefire? 9/11? WW2? Many civilians died in the aftermath, but the people who were attacked stayed the course. Why? Because they knew it was the right thing to do, despite the massive loss of life. They knew that doing nothing would be worse. In Israel, they are fighting an enemy who has said, “Israel is a country that has no place on our land,” and “We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do this again and again,”.Ghazi Hamad. These are real quotes. These people do not want a 2 state solution. Israel was doing quite fine by intercepting the odd rocket attack from Gaza, but this attack pushed them over the edge.

Gaza, with the billions in aid that they have received over the years, could have turned their country into something like a Singapore. Instead, Hamas chose to wage war because they believe Jews shouldn't be there. Israel left Gaza...it hasn't been occupied since 2005. Israel left all their greenhouses, (it was a major exporter of flowers and vegetable around the region), forced every Israeli out of Gaza, sometimes by gunpoint. They even dug up their dead and brought the corpses back to Israel. What did the people of Gaza do? They destroyed the greenhouses, (this is so dumb), they destroyed all of the temples, (this is actually against the Koran) and voted in Hamas. And then they started attacking a country that wanted nothing to do with them, which resulted in a blockade of weapons. Any sane country would do the same. And don't get me started about the number of land deals that have been rejected. This is not about land. This is about pushing Israel out and they have every right to defend themselves, especially against an enemy who cowardly hides behind civilians.

I am reading that IDF forces have encircled what remains of Gaza City, unlike football, no halftime break/pause to take a breather.  No ceasefire.

Gaza ground invasion revealed, inch-by-inch: Incredibly detailed satellite image shows precise movements of Israeli tanks and every crater left by artillery strikes

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12701553/Gaza-ground-invasion-revealed-inch-inch-Incredibly-detailed-satellite-image-shows-precise-movements-Israeli-tanks-crater-left-artillery-strikes.html

IDF has the Gaza strip in a choke hold, both Hamas, the government of Israel, at least appear to refuse to agree to a ceasefire.

What then?

Ask the families of the 1400 slaughtered that brought about this war? The release of the hostages?

IDF/Israeli government have indicated/offered foreign nationals trapped in the mayhem a route to safety.

The IDF/Israeli government also insisted that Palestinian civilians can flee/evacuate, to where is the question,

In London there is talk of a million-person protest on Remembrance Day.

When the country commemorates it fallen, the devastation of world war.

Well, Gaza is a world away, this hatred will not just fade away, it has to be fought out to the bitter end.

Blacklabel - if Russia goes home, then fire will cease. Not until then.

How much more until enough is enough?

I am sorry but references to biblical scriptures, the excuses/interpretation to excuse what is becoming a unprecedented human, hate filled massacre just goes to prove the impotence of UN security council, neck deep in it's members political agendas.

All that is left is the marching, flag waving street protests. Is any one really listening or actually taking any

notice?

I doubt it, other than to complain about the inconvenience.

“We got out today 74 American folks out that are dual citizens,"

If the IDF is so retrained and precise, why does the US feel the need to evacuate its citizens?

Why did Netanyahu encourage the Gaza Arabs to vote for the Hamas and give the Hamas $1 billion?

If you check out multiple UN resolutions you would find that Israel has already been found guilty of ethnic cleansing in previous situation!

Even the Israeli own reports that 55% of Palestinian refugees fled because of "ultimatums" by the IDF in the past!

But it still proceeded to confiscate Arab land .

And then there is this leaked document reported by Israeli media

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/israel-gaza-palestinians-concept-paper-1.7015576

An Israeli government document suggesting the mass relocation of Gaza's 2.3 million people to Egypt's Sinai Peninsula is fuelling concerns about the possible ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Welcome to reality!

Now for the lastest Netanyahu tweet

You must remember what Amalek has done to you (the bible)

> Now go smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay mam, woman, infant, and suckling, ox and sheep camel and ass"

Though he didn't have the guts to do it in English only in Hebrew.

Tell me what does "spare them not" mean? What does " slay man, woman, infant, and suckling " mean? Given them a place to stay?

No it means kill everyone and his dog whistle wasn't so subtle!

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

The IDF/Israeli government also insisted that Palestinian civilians can flee/evacuate, to where is the question,

We know where!

Yip yip and Netanyahu and his gang have made that very clear other Arab countries because they're not going to ever be accepted even in the two-state solution!

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/israel-gaza-palestinians-concept-paper-1.7015576

This article makes it very clear. Netanyahu and his gang have been preparing on how to rid Israel of Arabs and take over the land.

This is ethnic cleansing 101 and people can say stop saying and this is ethnic cleansing but the facts are on the ground. There is a plan written up by the Israeli government on how to remove the Palestinians from Gaza permanently. Oh yes, they say it's not policy but the fact that they even drew up such a plan tells us what is really going on!

1 ( +7 / -6 )

First off, this is neither a genocide or ethnic cleansing. Please stop using these terms. This is war. Using these words is quite irresponsible. If Israel wanted to to commit genocide or ethnic cleansing, they could have done it many times over.

"This is war"

Are you serious? That sounds like something someone would say who is committing genocide, but doesn't want to admit it in public. The plan is to push all the Palestinians in Gaza into the Sinai, then create "mini Gaza's" in the West Bank and gradually drive them into Jordan. If that isn't ethnic cleansing, I don't know what is.

This is about pushing Israel out and they have every right to defend themselves, especially against an enemy who cowardly hides behind civilians.

Where does it say that Israel has a right to defend itself? Where does it say that? Is it written somewhere?

The Palestinians DO have a write to resist occupation through armed struggle. Its written here:

In 1982, UNGA Resolution 37/43 affirmed the legitimacy of the struggle for independence, territorial integrity, national unity, and liberation from foreign domination and foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

What's the citation for any of those resolutions? I'm interested in taking a look.

Here Yip!
