And leftists believe pot is a victimless crime.

It is.

Child slavery has nothing to do with pot.

Horrible news. I am glad this will never happen here in Japan.

Yeah, there's also been a few cases of people being held by members of the Irish Traveller community in the UK, which the usual suspects have then used to condemn all Travellers.

Anyone who engages in any form of slavery and holding people against their will should get a very long sentence.

Sadly capitalism makes slaves of us all.

And leftists believe pot is a victimless crime.

Depends on where it's been sourced.

Terrible about the children being treated so inhumanely, though, isn't it?

What other job can they do? This is just sensational news. People grow cannibis because of chronic unemployment and poverty and demand.kids have to join gangs because of street violence. You can’t blame to victims, just the govt.

Weed is openly smoked in my home city in England and there's some really potent stuff around.

Which is why it really needs to be legalised to get rid of the dodgier stuff.

How is it that these children are being lgiven eave to remain in the UK?

This seems to be a fail by the UK Home Office....

Why has the current British government suppressed it's own damning report on the utter failure of prohibition of weed ?

World governments control the trillion dollar a year CASH industry. There is no other credible reason for the obstinate continuation of prohibition of a natural product.

VAT on weed alone would wipe out the national debt.

And let's not forget the much more dangerous synthetic versions causing mayhem who's creation are also a direct result of prohibition.

Free the weed . And tax it.

Well that appears pretty callous, and uninformed. The trafficked child slave may well be unknown to the Home Office, or as the article says, refused asylum. They clearly aren’t being given leave to remain.

Madverts it’s easy to make rash accusations sans evidence. Governments, democratically elected ones at least, are a reflection of their people. I’m no expert but even I can see people everywhere are divided on the subject of decriminalising drugs. It’s an ongoing moral and ethical debate, not an indication of criminality at the highest level. There are no simple solutions, calm down.
