Dang, this is not an easy situation. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I truly hope the president does the right thing. I will be deeply ashamed of the US if he was to be betrayed. :(

America stop meddling in other country's domestic affairs. I haven't heard of the Chinese Premier commenting on the Trayvon Martin/Zimmerman case or the occupy Wall Street Protests. The US has 10.9% real unemployment, 16 trillion dollars in debt and an entitlement system on the verge of collapse; do you think our government has more important things to worry about than some minor issues in China. Earth to Chen: if you really cared about these so-called "injustices" in your country why don't you stay and try to make some meaningful changes within the system instead of trying to run away. Suu Kyi did it in Myanmar....

Well when Martin or Zimmerman's families are being rounded up and beaten wake me up.

I hear Chen wants to fly out of China with Hillary when she returns from her trip. This will be a severe test of Hillary's skills as a negotiator.

They guy has a wife so it's not an easy fix. You can't just put him on a plane. The Chinese will get revenge against her.

I think the Chinese were pretty darned angry about this, and told the US to practice what they preach in legalities. Stay out of other countries' internal affairs. China is not a weak country like Iraq or Afghanistan or Libya. How long has China been around?? How long has the USA been around??
