A quarter pound of marijuana would be the limit for personal use?
Could we legally grow marijuana for personal use on our land and in our homes?
Pot should be treated just like alcohol. We brew beer at home and make prune liquor using old family recipes. Having 3-6 pot plants would be good for personal use.
Too bad this will never pass.

Awesome. This is a huge first step.
People are going to use it regardless; why spend the resources penalizing an act that hurts no one?

As long as it is illegal, it does hurt lots of people due to drug cartels and illegal shipping. Making it legal would drastically change the US/Mexico border dynamics - and taxed at least like tobacco.
Have a portion of the taxes go towards successful drug treatment programs and social awareness campaigns.
It needs to be handled better than alcoholism is, that is certain.
