Sounds like he didn't really perform it hewas just treating someone who was already a victim of it. Good to know that its banned in the UK and banned for British people to seek it out abroad that is very good policy I hope the same is true for the Americans

The UK is too scared to prosecute parents who inflict this on their children as that could be seen as "racist".

Good that he was found not guilty. The ignorant and twisted mindset behind FGM is that the woman isn't supposed to feel pleasure during coitus. What kind of sick mentality would come up with that kind of thinking? Probably men that couldn't please their wives in bed so decided to make it as bad as possible for women. I think women's labor pains more than make up for getting pleasure from making babies 10 times over.

Stop violating the rights of people, male or female, by mutilating their genitals when they are defenceless infants.

The story is confusing. How can FGM be carried out multiple times? I thought that is not anatomically possible. What exactly did he do?

The court case, like this article is made for cheap effect only. The man repaired the damage as good as he could, of course another clitoris did not grow back.
THis article is not about that court case, this article is simply about the stupidity and insanity of this procedure and of some do-gooders....
