A prosecution for the mishandling of classified material is going to be easy to prove. Proving that Mr. Trump removed official government documents that belong to the National Archives will be easy to prove. Harder to prove would a conspiracy to hide those documents, but there seems to be enough evidence of deliberate efforts to hide government documents including classified documents to gain a conviction. Harder to prove would be charges related to alter electon results, but even that seems possible to do.

Based on the last paragraph, one has to wonder why no one from Georgia was subpoenaed. They have recordings of Trump talking to either the governor or Secretary of State, or both that should do the trick.

Does a prosecutor need to drop a subpoena if the parties in question are happy to talk, be witnesses and provide documentary evidence?

Unlike Durham that came up with nothing, Smith is going to nail Donald to the wall...a wall that's already built..

And Donald better like looking at built walls - they have plenty at Rikers Island...

ROFL...

The fake elector scheme is clearly the thing that is most likely to "get Trump", other than his theft of state documents.

It was a clear conspiracy to illegitimately overthrow the 2020 election and the evidence is in black and white. And the idea that Trump wasn't aware of it is laughable.

What puzzles me is how long it has taken the Justice Department to act at a state level on this given that the news emerged about it ages ago.

Jack Smith isn't messing around. Dotard better get his extras absorbent "man-pants" on, lol.

Bitter and terrible end coming for the MAGA gang..

The subpoenas, some of which were first reported by The Washington Post, are the clearest indication yet that Smith’s work will include an examination of the fake electors that were part of Trump’s efforts to subvert the election count and certification. All of the states where requests were sent are states that Trump and his allies targeted as they tried to overturn the democratic vote.

This isn't going to end well for Trump and his cronies.
