demanding the government step up action insulating homes.

How is this connected to global warming?

Can somebody explain this please? (without mental gymnastics)

It’s very simple. Home insulation requires less heating, which reduces the need for fossil fuels. Fossil fuels create greenhouse gases.

But some kinds of insulation, the popular foam boards, may do more harm than good. So, better and greener insulation is essential.

A spokesman for this group was on GMB a few days ago, where he admitted his home wasn’t insulated and got very shouty before storming off.

The French and Spanish police would have come down like a ton of bricks on these people. Nice motivation, but wrong time and place for the public’s mood. Looks to everyday people more like kicking a man when he’s down, and aiming for the vitals.

Still, the police had no suitable law on the books against this and were forced to bring in a special injunction. And thus does the wall grow.
