Shame on the Israelis -- this is totally unacceptable. They should have cornered him on a public bus and detonated a suicide bomb that killed or maimed all the other passengers.

If I predicted this event in December, complete with the stolen passport parts, I would have been written off a "conspiracy theorist". Conspiracies and spy stuff do exist, and I hope that lesson has been learned.

Here we have yet another article with absolutely no specific evidence pointing to Israel or Mossad. However, we do have three Palestinians, who are said to be Hamas members, arrested and being held in Dubai in connection with this case. So, so far, if there is any conspiracies or spy stuff, it seems they are connected with Hamas and the Palestinians.

Until further real information comes out, that is all there is.

It's great to see the media doing what it does best i.e., endless babbling about a story without providing any substance or critical analysis. Let's see....On CNN International the daily chant is how many assassin suspects there are now, why they carried out the assassination in Dubai, how sophisticated Israeli intelligence is, and even interviews with ex-intelligence agents who feel that there's nothing the least bit wrong with assassinations carried out in other countries, and how Israel doesn't discuss their assassinations, etc...What is noticeably missing from the media, and is almost ALWAYS missing from the media, is to do what most first year journalism students all learn, and that is to try and see the story from both sides so as not to bias the story, at least to the least possible extent. Well, let's take a look(sticking to the small list above) Let's imgine that we're living in the occupied territories, or any other country for that matter, and we're watching TV. The journalists sort of casually start talking about how Palestinian intelligence, perhaps 27 or so, managed to assassinate a high ranking Israeli military officer without getting caught. The assassination took place in, say, New York. A few of the assassins are thought to have escaped to Canada, where they're sure to be "safe" from any sort of U.S. reprisal. On Al Jezzera TV there are interviews with ex-Hamas intelligence officers whom proudly boast about there being nothing wrong with it. They also don't feel compelled to discuss what their intelligence agencies are up to, regardless of any sort of international laws which may consider it illegal. I could easily go on, but the picture is quite clear, or at least should be. The western media is an embarrassment to journalism and everyone should let them know.

Watch developements over bthe next few days where the Palestinians are shon th be controlled by their Mossad paymasters. This is another black mark on Israel, ho perform illegal terroris acts whenever they wish, utterly disgusting, they are as bad as Hamas.

stevecpfc,

Maybe. Anyway, what I'd really like to see is one name of an Israeli politician, of any religion in case you are worried, you claimed admitted Mossad was involved in this case and then further claimed was broadcast on TV. Still have not seen any such thing. Which leads me to believe it is not true.

BTW, still no evidence of Israeli/Mossad involvement. Rumours and random blaming don't count.

kinnkiu, believe what you like mate. You shall see everything unravel very soon.

stevecpfc,

It is not a matter of belief. You made a claim of facts and you cannot back it up. Why not just admit you were mistaken and that absolutely no Israeli politician has admitted Mossad was involved and that no such admission was broadcast on TV? Anyone can make a mistake.

As far as things unraveling. You have been saying basically since this killing happened. Yet, all we have is three Palestinians, said to be Hamas members, who have been arrested and are now being held in Dubai in connection with this case. We have no solid and specific evidence of Israeli/Mossad involvement as of yet. We just get the same repeated information and speculation neither of which point in any real and specific way to Mossad/Israel.

Here we have yet another article with absolutely no specific evidence pointing to Israel or Mossad.

The Dubai police (those who have been investigating the murder) is almost 100% certain its them, and some senior Israeli intelligence officials are convinced its them. This is much more than speculation, rumours, or random blaming. Just because they are not making all their evidence public does not mean there isn't any.

They have absolutely made no evidence public linking Israel/Mossad to this case. It is not a matter of not making all of the evidence public as they have made none public. This leads me to believe that, at this point, they don't have any evidence pointing to Israel. They do, however, have plenty of evidence linking Palestinians, seemingly Hamas members, to this case in the form of three Palestinians arrested and being held in Dubai in connection with this case. There are plenty of Israeli intelligence officials saying it is not Mossad. Despite many being 'convinced', no one has actually brought any evidence into the equation as of yet.

So, again, all we have so far is three Palestinians being arrested and held in connection with this case and, so far, no evidence pointing to Israel or Mossad.

No, we only have people saying what they think with absolutely no evidence. Dubai has made no evidence public implicating Israel. In fact, the only evidence points to three Palestinians arrested and being held in connection with the killing. These three people are said to be members of Hamas. Dubai police just saying they think it is Mossad, which they have been saying without showing any evidence whatsoever that it could be them, is not evidence of anything. Right now, all that has been made public is the three Palestinians and speculation, rumours and blindly blaming Israel. Until they have more than this, there is absolutely no reason to think Israel was involved and lots of reason to think Hamas was.

Dubai's finest have also announced more idiocy. They plan to look at people's faces and listen to their accents to determine whether they have duel citizenship with Israel. Good luck with that!

Dubai's finest have also announced more idiocy. They plan to look at European people's faces and listen to their accents when they arrive in Dubai to determine whether they have duel citizenship with Israel. Good luck with that!

Sounds like someone is upset at having their beloved spy agency exposed.

If Mossad did it and it is shown they did it, so be it. I will sleep just fine either way. However, this plan of looking at faces to try to determine who has Israeli duel citizenship is in fact idiotic. Those are really wonderful police/immigration authorities there in Dubai! They actually think they can tell who is an Israeli duel citizen even if they were born in Europe. Yeah, right. Good luck with that!
