Let the cheating begin.

I see the Republicans are at it again.
TokyoGas
Is anyone really surprised at the shenanigans...

I tossed my Florida absentee ballot, because Ralph Nader was not on it, and I think he would be a great president.
Laguna
Who would want to vote early - specifically on a Sunday following church?
Who would want to hinder this as much as possible?
When you can't get the voter to vote as you'd like, make voting as difficult as possible for him.
I hope the results are clear-cut in Florida or we'll see them swamped in lawsuits.
Serrano
@JapanGal
You could have written in Ralph Nader. Not that he's running or has a chance.
nath
I just can't wait until this is all over. I'm tired of it all. "Yawn"!
JDB829
Here we go again !
Serrano
"Here we go again!"
Yep, another 4 years of Obama, more dependency on the government, more government debt...
Elbuda Mexicano
This mess down in Florida sounds really, really messed up! Stupid Republicans thought that by changing a couple laws in their favor would be able to also bring about voting results in their favor?? Bastards! I hope they find out who is behind this mess and have them arrested!
SuperLib
The "freedom loving" party wants to make sure people have a hard time voting. Imagine that.
bass4funk
This is why we need voter ID when you have a person named John Adolf Hitlervoting for Obama, you know the Dems are up to something, shameless and desperation at its worst!
globalwatcher
This is a part of GOP's well coordinated plan. Voters are on line more than 9 hrs today. Florida is not China, Cuba, and Russia.
globalwatcher
Amazing Fox is not reporting this news at all today. GOP, FL and Fox News are all working together on this.
gelendestrasse
I recall the old Chicago-style type of voting: vote early, vote often. You wonder how it will all turn out on Wednesday...
JTDanMan
Uhm, not really. FL Gov. Scott is a Republican. Democrats have been complaining for a while, and Scott just brushed off the problems and said everything was running smoothly.
Well, it ain't. As we can see. And it ain't 'cause Scott and the Republicans want it to be harder for some parts of FL to vote. Last year the Republican-controlled legislature reduced early voting days from 14 to 8 in a more-or-less naked attempt to discourage voting in South Florida, which is strongly Democratic. Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties are where 32% of Florida's Democrats live.
"So-called" vote supression? Uh, ya got a better word for it?
JTDanMan
Heya Serranno!
You know I just love your contributions here. What JT really lacks is a REAL CONSERVATIVE telling it like it is. But, I gotta tell you, when you say things like:
it kinda worries me. It makes me think you, well, can see the writing on the wall, and the Rmoney is going down.
C'mon, It Aint Over Till Its Over!!! Show us soome fightin' spirit!!!

Why don't you educate us as to how introducing voter ID requirements relate to the issues around early voting in Florida?
And do spare us the juvenile "you are in serious denial or you haven't a clue" " you know the Dems are up to something, shameless and desperation at its worst!" hysterics. Thanks.
yabits
There was nobody by that name showing up at the polls to vote for President Obama. Why are you not portraying this incident honestly?
There was a registration card turned in with the name John Adolf Hitler. Judging by how much conservatives make of this and how much of a stake they have trying to prove something, what was there to prevent a conservative from filling in that name on a registration form and turning it in pretending to be a Democrat? That actually makes a lot more sense than a loyal Democrat ruining his/her own chances to vote. Why would someone seeking to vote illegally turn in such an obviously bogus name?
If the process wasn't working, how did the name above come to light? Were the authorities tipped off by the very person who planted it?
YuriOtani
These election boards are all local and run by democrats. It is the local and not state government that runs these things.
yabits
Really? Miami-Dade County -- one of Florida's largest -- has had a Republican administration for quite awhile. The current county head is Carlos Gimenez -- a Republican.
How is that democrats run the county's election boards?
Serrano
Heya DanMan
Heh, I notice you didn't dispute my contention that there will be more government dependency and debt after another 4 years of Obama.

in 2011, Republican governor Rick Scott and a Republican state Legislature passed a law cutting early voting days from 14 days to 8.
Why?
''We all want everybody to vote. But we want an informed voter.. Voting is a privilege. How easy should it be? Why would we make it any easier? I want 'em to fight for it. I want 'em to know what it's like. I want them to go down there, and have to walk across town to go over and vote''
state senator, Michael Bennett,Republicans shut down community-based voter registration drives. That's how a teacher who brought registration forms into class for her seniors turning 18 was charged with violating the law.
etc.
and...
''It’s part of the mythology now in the Republican Party that there's widespread voter fraud across the country. In fact, there's not.'' Steve Schmidt, a senior strategist for John McCain in 2008

It's not my job to educate you, but you liberals think that this election is decided when it is not. The shame belongs to anyone that disparages both sides. It taters not if you are conservative or liberal, but don't come off as if this is purely a partisan issue, it's not.
bass4funk
@serrano
He can't and most liberals can't. They know that Obama's record has been horrible when it comes to job creation and in particular the private sector. The only thing that they can and always want to argue are side issues, issues that don't take precedent at this point and time.

It's not my job to educate you,
bass, what you have said is not a value of Americans. We say what we believe with good reasonings. You said it, you own it. No kitchen talk please. "It is not my job to educate you", go ahead and challenge me in legal issue. I am willing to take it. Go ahead and proceed, bass.

@global
Did I say that? No, I did not. I said, it was NOT my job to educate you.

Elbuda Mexicano
Florida may get messy, but if the FEDERAL government has to get in as investigate what is going on down there, so be it. Florida is bringing on these problems on to itself, right??
bass4funk
Proceed as in telling you that it's not MY job to educate you? There, i just proceeded. But I will tell you this, don't get your hopes up too high, you never know how the dice will fall on this.
Elbuda Mexicano
Yup!!, and Florida is trying to load the dice??
