While normally a labor voter, I do not think Albanese would make a good leader. Morrison is a bit hit and miss but he is on the right track with defense and dealing with China. While people like me end up paying more under Liberal governments, it is worth it for a better defense force in these times.

Neither is really concerned with dealing with climate change responsibly, and they seem to have more similarities on issues than in the past.

Albanese is not well prepared and has made a few gaffes early in the lead up by not knowing information he should know.

It will be interesting to see the final outcome, but my vote will be for the incumbent. It will not make any difference as I live in a solid Labor seat.

They both look the same and nothing will change.

Yes I understand your view. I just do not think the labor "team" is capable of doing what is needed with the people it has right now. I have voted liberal exactly once before, the rest labor or greens throughout my life. I have no particular love of Morrison or the Liberal coalition and I despise Joyce, but my number once concern right now is defense with everything going on in the world and Labor just cant get it right on that portfolio.

Everyone has their own concerns and whats great about Australia is you vote for what YOU want and the chips will sometimes fall with you and sometimes not. Power changes hands responsibly and without issue and we set a great example on how democracy works when the institutions are solid and backed by all involved. Either way Australia will continue to be one of the best places to live on the planet. Climate issues not withstanding. I am absolutely glad I live here and have never wanted to live anywhere else.
