Well done, Obama. You were so eager to get the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Egypt... now that they have it and are abusing it, what you gonna do about it? The silence from the White House about this disaster is amazing.

You always blame everything on US. The best thing we can do is let them decide what they want to do. Getting involved at this moment is a bad idea. Your friends may be your enermy, your enemy becomes your firends.. Egypt is not ready to use chemical weapons against its own people.

This could be a good opportunity for ElBaradei.

Giving billions to Egpt is consider getting involved. Why is the USA giving money to Egypt or any country in the Middle East?

The outcome is Morsi and the MB stay in power.
In a democracy country, the leader would have resigned under pressure instead of empowering oneself to power.

You may want to check the fact. When did US/IMF give this financial assistance to Egypt?

Maybe you should re-read the articles again.

Well done, Obama. You were so eager to get the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Egypt.
Morsi was democratically elected by the Egyptian people. Are you implying Obama rigged the vote?

akkk1:
""Are you implying Obama rigged the vote?""
No, I am implying that Obama threw Mubarak under the bus, full well knowing that a majority vote in Egypt would sweep the islamists into power. Now he got the result.
I am also implying that during the anti Mubarak protests, Obama chimed in immediately on the side of the protesters. Now, while he is dining and wining with the islamist dictator Morsi, we do not hear a peep from the White House against the total power grab by the Muslim Brothers.
Look up hypocrisy.
Madverts
Heh, what you're actually implying willi is that the West should have supported Murbarak's firing on what was millions of protesters.
We've all seen how that played out in Syria.

"The outcome is Morsi and the MB stay in power."
With tanks no in the streets I doubt this. Morsi will back down orhere will be the secretarian carnage willi has been hoping for.

What I meant was the timing of financial commitment. I believe the day money was given to his hands, Morsi declare his total control of power.
saidani
That's not how it works. The commitment was made but that doesn't mean the money was in Morsi's pocket. And, yet, we haven't heard about the money commitment being withdrawn since Morsi went all dictator on Egypt. Your blind defense of Obama becomes more evident every day.
