As loathsome as the Muslim Brotherhood was, they won the election. The military coup and the mass arrests and trials were illegal.

There is more than one way to get rid of political opponents and El-Sissi's henchmen know them all.

Crazy Joe:

As loathsome as the Muslim Brotherhood was, they won the election.

...which is precisely why authoritarian secular regimes are the only way to prevent Shariah regimes in the Middle East. Obama/Clinton threw secular Mubarrack under the bus and opened the gates for the Morsi and the Muslim Brothers (aka ISIS in fine clothes).

But don´t expect the talking heads and CNN to point that out.

Unfortunately, Morsi messed it up - the first thing his Party did after the protests that opened the door that allowed him winning a democratic election was....................... to close the door behind him..................

That was so stupid of him to do

And that's why those same mass protestors didn't stand by him when the military staged a coup against him, and thus allowed the military to retake power

Critics accused the Brotherhood of using violence against opponents and seeking to monopolize power and Islamize the state. Massive protests grew against their rule

Morsi and the Islamic Brotherhood sucked big time.
