Entertainer Rolf Harris charged in UK with 13 child sex offenses

It is a load of old crap and it won't be long before they are arresting people for having photo's of their naked toddlers bathing. Don't think that is true, it has already happened in UK, though there were no charges. Divide and conquer, scapegoat and make fear, that's what it's all about.

I hope they don't find anything on Benny Hill. He's about the only one of my favorite British entertainers from the 1970s and '80s left who hasn't been investigated.

Before giving their verdict, will the jury say "can you tell what it is yet?"

I'm not very sure how this works. The woman goes to the police and says this famous guy grabbed my ass 33 years ago, and then the police arrest the guy and prosecute him?

Indeed, our childhood icons being destroyed one by one. Savill i get. Hairy Ciornflake too. But Rolf? Two Little Boys takes on a whole new meaning. And the wobble board song? His version of Stairway to Heaven reset the bar.....

One of the sad things about life is that as you get older you find out that people you trusted were not worthy of your trust. I don't just mean in this kind of way either, there are many lesser things equally disappointing I have found.

People shouldn't be named until they are convicted of child-sex offences. And teenagers should not be called children, because they're not.

Despite that this has been a witch hunt, and a nice easy one for the old bill at that, I don't have a problem with sex offenders being in the dock.

Yes, count me in. In the past year or so I have been feeling very heavy-hearted reading the news about some of my favourite childhood entertainers. The news about Rolf almost feels like learning the truth about Santa.
