Would be nice if this dinosaur were replaced with someone looking to return Turkey back to civilization.

Good luck with trying to win over the masses in that country.

Yet another terrorist dictator of the 3rd world country blaming others for his own mistakes. Will someone please tell me what the LGBT community has ever had to do with politics? I am a young gay female and I live with my girlfriend..........oh no, the shock!! But I live in the real EU where democracy is at least pretending to survive...at the moment.

Another fascist demonizing gays ahead of an election. What are the odds?

Projectionism is a method used by losers. And Erdogan is acting like a middle-schooler who sasses off the mouth, spreading gossip about other students and calling them 'gay' or 'queer' without knowing what those words mean. It makes him 'feel good' but it only makes him look stupid.

And BTW, the Nazi Holocaust took the lives of 6 million Jews and 5 million others, including homosexuals. That's where the 'pink triangle' symbol came from. And what did those LGBT people ever do to deserve getting exterminated? Nothing.

Putting the blame on people who are 'strange' or that you don't understand is evil and stupid.

“They’re going to take away your ( ) and teach your kids to ( )”

The template used by sociopathic leaders everywhere to rile up the weak minded who of course they couldn’t really give two hoots about.

“They’re going to take away your ("right" to an abortion ) and teach your kids to (safely shoot guns )”

fixed it for ya.

Not a problem, right?

Not a problem, right?

How on earth do you think this is acceptable?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

(I’m) a problem, right?

You ok with that?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Yep I am.

At his rally in Istanbul, the president was appealing to his conservative Muslim voter base.

so I dare any of you to criticize his base. Are they wrong how they feel about LGBT?

if not, how is he wrong to agree with them and speak accordingly? Conservative Muslims have no right to feel as they do?

Depends. Do they disagree with it, want to lock them up or behead them?

You have to stop seeing things in black and white.

Depends. Do they disagree with it, want to lock them up or behead them?

I think you know which they advocate when it comes to LGBT. Their position is pretty clear.

But none of you will criticize it.

No, nope, no.

I think you need to state clearly what you imagine someone is criticizing before you attack them for it.

Do you really think conservative Muslims all think alike? Don’t you get antsy when someone says all conservative 45 fans think alike?

Again, when you ask “Are they wrong how they feel about LGBT?” you need to be clearer.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

you are just scared to say it.

Say what?

Scared to say the thing you are imagining I’ve twice asked you to say?

What?

If you know it say it. It just looks like you are talking nonsense.

says all conservative 45 fans think alike?

And 47.

lol.

it’s said here everyday. Is it a lie?

That all 45 supporters think alike?

I never said that and don’t think that. Find someone else to badger about it.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

I know you know the conservative Muslim position, the people who Erdogan is soliciting their vote.

you are just scared to say it.

I’ll repeat my original statement again.

“Depends. Do they disagree with it, want to lock them up or behead them?

You have to stop seeing things in black and white.”

I’ll also ask you again to be clearer in what you imagine I won’t say. Go ahead, tell me what you think I am too scared to say.

You never quote anything I say but are comfortable to imagine the things I don’t.

That’s pretty messed up, surely you agree.

Depends. Do they disagree with it, want to lock them up or behead them?

All 3 in escalating stages. starting with the first and ending with the last if the behavior doesn’t cease.

but to know this. Have to pretend you don’t so you can avoid to criticize it.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I think it’s terrible to have such views. But if that’s the views of a culture/religion and they elect their leader to continue it, I think it’s their choice and within their “rights” to do so.

maybe liberals believe they should be invaded and have good ole USA “democracy” and identity politics forced upon them.

not Erdogan fault he is representing the views of the voters. If he is wrong, he loses. Simple.

> I think it’s terrible to have such views. But if that’s the views of a culture/religion and they elect their leader to continue it, I think it’s their choice and within their “rights” to do so.

Maybe they ‘rig’ the election too. Still agree with it?

Again, you are speculatin’

What’s your timeline? Will Ergodan be in power whilst the ‘conservative Muslims’ in Turkey are beheading people or will that happen later?

Is it one of those slippery slopes, like when someone several decades ago was gonna take all your guns away?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

It’s their country, let them do what they want. You can’t force change.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Same thing in USA.

if it’s really a “right” no one can take it away.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Same thing in USA.

if it’s really a “right” no one can take it away.

So the ‘same thing’ in some states of the USA. Lots of ‘rights’ shifting back and forth all the time across state lines.

Doesn’t mean any of them are ‘right’.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Still waiting by the way.

What is it I am apparently too scared to say, that you know, but also won’t say?

Don’t keep us in suspense.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

That conservative Muslims are wrong about their viewpoints about LGBT and must change them or else. You wont take an anti Muslim position, surely.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Mr. Erdogan knows that it is not who votes, it's who counts the votes. (Hint: his allies and friends, because he's been in power so long.) He will therefore "win" with about 56% of the vote. If you don't believe it, then you must be an election denier.
