Blacklabel, if police need emotional support, they should not be police, lots of these police think they are part of social club, when they are hired to serve the public, not insecure police

He is his own man, so time will tell if he can manage a fiscal budget or maintain a regeme of developing policies to keep people safe. The key will be if he possesses the ability to work with people and provide a bridge between discordant sector's, bringing harmony to the various sometimes diametrically opposed demographic segments that combined make up the extremely large and diverse community that is the city of New York.

Mick- not exactly sure what that means, but NYC has become a cesspool under the old guy. It’s a pretty depressing place.

That describes ever big city I have ever seen and those include some of Europe's and Asia's largest. There isn't a big city in the world that is a fit place to live. The larger the population the worse they are. All the cities on the east coast of the US are worn down, weathered and old fashioned rat holes. New York is just a bigger version of this archetype. Places like Shanghai look glossy and pretty on the surface but once inside the buildings, even newer ones, you see how dirty, cramped, cluttered and often unsafe their homes are with dodgy wiring and leaks everywhere and how poorly maintained and dirty commercial buildings are. I see that all over Asia. That's life in any big city.

New York has committed suicide a few mayors ago. A vegan with head of lettuce is an appropriate epitaph.
