Well if they are "smaller" how can they be "as bad"?

Is he referring to the US farmers getting billions in government subsidies? The largest 15 percent of farm businesses (i.e. corporate agribusiness) get roughly 85 percent of the subsidies. Curious that corporate farms in red states get the lion’s share of that. Look at agribusiness campaign donations made to politicians in those states. And yes, some are Democrats.
Trump, Bannon etal have done their parts in making this the post-truth era. Big lie redux.
If trade has been as unfair as Trump wants people to believe, why has the US had the globe’s largest economy for so many years?
Is Trump trying to sever ties with Europe to make it easier for Putin and his oligarchs to have greater access and control there? Weakening NATO alliances would make it a lot easier.

Coming from him, I take that as a badge of honor !
For the millionth time : american cars don't sell because american cars suck !!! Why would europeans buy the cars with the lowest performances ? If you want to sell, more cars in Europe, work on that first.
If true, how does that make EU bad ? If you want to protect your farmers, protect them !

One of the few agricultural products cheaper in Japan than in the US (generally) is avocados. Mexican avocados are basically banned from the US market to protect American producers, so they wind up in Japan. That's just one example - let's not even get into sugar.

Well, knowing Trump, he probably can't tell the difference between peis and a vaina.

So we need an $8 billion adjustment on $673 billion worth of trade. Trump's methods seem drastic for what amounts to a drop in the bucket, not only with the trade war, but with the low point in our relationship with Canada.

Everyone who does't put American interests above theirs is bad. Such a bad,bad world XD

The US ambassador to Estonia just resigned over Trump's rhetoric and positions. He'd served as a diplomat for 33 years under six presidencies, including three in his current position. Estonia may be small, but it is on the front line of countries Russia is attempting to reincorporate into its sphere.
Also, rumors abound that Trump will legitimize Russia's annexation of eastern Ukraine.
"Winning!" grins Putin.

Doesn’t trump know most Europeans are white and Christian with no border to Mexico?

The trillion dollar tax cuts have fallen flat, U.S. consumer prices are on the rise and the mid-term elections are just around the corner. Nothing new here. Trump is looking for a scapegoat.

More and more Europeans will realise that with such a friend you don't need enemies :)
Hopefully the beginning of an era with less dependance of the US of A.

Yep, when you send in a Mercedes his compatriots realise that's no use to send something in fabricated in the US.
Yep, Europeans don't want hormone poultry rinsed in chloride. The life expectancy in the developed EU nations is way higher than in the US. We like to keep it that way.
US farmers can export commodities like soybeans to the EU but they know that growth is taking place in China and elsewhere. GMO-corn is not allowed so with that knowledge they could grow an alternative.
And yep, the EU has the most advanced farmers of the globe.

US agribusiness with almost a monopoly on certain food and feed supply chains around the Globe own an enormous stake in the European food and feed production.
US farmers know that too as these companies are maintaining the supply chains. In the boardrooms of those companies, filled with republican voters, they are not glad either with the ruling from the Oval office as they like to do business as usual.

Bring it on, geebag. Bring it on.

Actually Ford was the second best selling and GM was the fifth best selling brand in Europe up until last year when they sold Opel. Toyota was the 10th best selling, Honda was 20th and Nissan was 13th. American brand sell better than you think.
