Come on Japan government hurry up and roll it out here, why are you always so slow to act.

These are great news!

The entire Belgian population , where I am from, will have been inoculated by end of 2021.

in Japan we will hardly have started. Abe and Suga have a grave responsibility to live with. Incredible that the world’s 4th largest economy and a welfare state is so far behind the rest of the world on this.

This will be one of the most shameful shortcomings of a government in recent decades.

Hurry 3rd largest economy Japan!

Every second, minute, day you wait people will die!

Lamilly

Look, at Japan - under 3000 fatalities.

Now look at Europe. Look at America. Very different picture wouldn't you say.

Yeah. While many European countries and US states practise massive lockdowns and Corona Karens are running around pressuring people to wear masks, Japan stays reasonable and is restricted to recommendations, not draconian Big Brother rules. I am going to a Karaoke bar tonight.... I put on the mask in the subway if it is crowded, otherwise it stays in the pocket. Your point was?

Love the picture in the story. After getting shot in the left arm, tomorrow her right arm will hurt. Dont believe it? Just listen to Fauci:

@Lamilly, 3000 deaths, I am sorry to say I dont believe this figure, in truth it is much higher, we all know the true figure will never come out as its been covered up for public moral and propaganda reasons, the testing for C19 is a joke, in the other countries you book you self in for a test if you have the symptoms, and you go and get tested strait away and the results are quick, but Japan has a process of 3 or 4 people you have to speak to before you get a test, by the time you have spoken to all of them your getting better. If some one dies they dont test for C19 virus, so if that person did die from it the death is not logged as a covid related death, so it goes unregistered.

Weird how gung-ho people are for the vaccine when comparatively the data to properly assess efficacy isn't available: https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4037

Sorry, i just follow the science! Too much 'scientism' around

But then your link says something completely different from your conclusions, The primary goal of the vaccine (to prevent complications and likely deaths) has been already proved satisfactorily, the secondary don't because it would be unethical to wait and let people die unnecessarily in order to confirm it, but even if the only effect would be to make people asymptomatic that is guaranteed to decrease transmission.

If you think an article from 2 months ago is following the science you are completely mistaken. Try at least something that takes in account the final results from the phase III trials.
