EU leaders plead with Hungarian PM to back Russian oil ban:

Not all leaders of EU countries speak on the same frequency.

Hungary is adamant in siding with Russia. Its leader refuses to support the Russian oil ban.

Some others remain indifferent. So much of EU's unity for now..

A smart one of the bunch who doesn’t wanna see his economy destroyed over the US’s proxy war. If I was vacationing in Europe I’d choose Hungary.

Hungry has many neo-Nazis many fighting in Ukraine, so hungry is definitely not pe Russian. They just don’t want their economy nuked by US led Unprecedented sanctions.

Hungary is adamant in siding with Russia.

No, Hungary does not side with Russia at all.

Its leader refuses to support the Russian oil ban.

The bulk of its oil comes from Russia, without an immediate alternative supply it is not able to operate without Russian supply. If it had an alternate supply it would kiss Russian oil goodby without delay. That is not supporting Russia, far from it.

Ban Russian oil and then what??? Make the life of every single citizen in their country more difficult through high price cost and shortage. The politicians are rich and can afford this while the majority of common people will suffer!

I'm sure if the US asked Venezuela, Iraq and Iran to increase their output they would be happy to help...

Oh wait..... There might just be a slight problem with that..

Yes let's all pay more for our oil... It won't hurt Russia as China and India will happily buy all they have.

But it's the thought that counts.
