due to concerns that Iran has made significant advances since it stopped abiding by the 2015 commitments.

Thanks, Trump.

“The obstacles (are)...something that I think can be bridged,”

No obstacles exist that a few pallets of cash ( that the Iranians can use to fund the killing of US soldiers in the region and a few thousand more Hamas rockets) can’t overcome. The Iranians are focused like a laser on “death to America” and wiping Israel off the map. biden knows from experience that cash will get this deal over the finish line. Jimmy Carter’s second term is well underway.

Well said. Incredible heads-in-the-sand libs would deny this. Don't they want to preserve democracy?

This is especially a time when Trump is missed most.

Iran should only sign if Israel is disarmed. Otherwise they have a right to nukes.

well nobody does actually...,

The thing is that half of the parties see things that way (in public at least) while the others see it slightly differently, seeing the concerning issues to be the failure of the EU3 to fufill their responsibilities under the JCPOA, and the outstanding issue to be America's illegal (according to the ICJ) sanctions (at least in public) .

"Iranians and Americans Support A Mutual Return to JCPOA"

https://www.thechicagocouncil.org/research/public-opinion-survey/iranians-and-americans-support-mutual-return-jcpoa

About six in ten Americans favor US participation in a nuclear deal with Iran and half of Iranians (51%) approve of the JCPOA. This is the highest percentage of Iranians supporting the JCPOA since May 2019 though much lower than levels of support in 2016–2017, before the United States withdrew from the accord in 2018.

Seven in ten Iranians (69%) support their country returning to the limits called for under the nuclear agreement if the United States begins fulfilling its obligations under the JCPOA.

We have a stumbling block in office now.

Do not negotiate with terrorists.

Iran’s regime is as radical as ever, its cries of “Death to America,” that same America that it calls the “Great Satan,” as loud as ever.

Now, this shouldn’t be surprising, because the ideology of Iran’s revolutionary regime is deeply rooted in militant Islam, and that’s why this regime will always be an enemy of America.
