Why would they want to go back? I wouldn't want to after being bombed, poisoned and chased like they have been.

It's like a hungry cat trying to invite frightened mice back home.

We've learned that the longer any refugees stay in a new country, the more likely they are to begin new lives, put down roots, continue raising families and need/want to stay. They will still have ties back home, but if they've left a depressed or dangerous part of the world for a better situation, they will want to stay.

Home, family, culture. The same for Haitians in the US. They came after a huge natural disaster, legally. Invited. Since that disaster, they've gotten married, had children, and don't want to give up the better situation for their kids to return home. Certainly they miss the culture and the people, but that isn't enough.

A large number of refugees are rebels and terrorists. Why would they want to back? They lost and now Syria is becoming safe again...if you don’t count Israeli missile stokes.
