you gotta love the entitlement some of the migrants have you dont get to decide were you settle in and calling Greece a poor country shows that you are not a refugee but a migrant and your best bet is to get back on the boat and wait your turn in Turkey like everybody else like I said before bieing from a poor country does not mean you have a right to asylum.

And the student needs to know that you gotta have job to pay for higher education the state does not owe you a higher education so even if you make it doesnt entitle you to free schooling on the tax payers money we have plenty of students already.

Tje father needs help yes famillies need help not the single yonug men that seem arrive in droves because of fake stories of free money for migrants.

Also I have to laugh at the notion of that we deserve human rights you would not even give simple human decency to minorities in your own country and you spit on them as well what makes you think you deserve it?

Under EU convention the 1st country of landing should be the country in which asylum should be sought. There is no right of movement within the EU for non EU individuals.

I used to be quite sympathetic towards refugees cause but that was before. The more I read or see them talk the more I feel many are just taking the P.

Few weeks ago I saw that some 'refugees' in the north of France (Calais) turned down the offer that was made to them by French govt to resettle in France. The reason they gave: "Britain is much better than France, there is more work and I have friends there. I don't want to stay here, I want to go to Britain!'. Right.

Europe has been too soft for too long. Merkel and co were naïve enough (well stupid) to think only legit refugees would seek asylum! How naïve was that! Its human nature to take the whole arm when you give someone a hand.

Canada has the luxury of picking and choosing who it takes in. Migrants have just been sailing/walking into Europe, so it's not that simple. I'm pleased to see borders finally tightened, it had become an invasion.

I feel sorry for the families that really are in need of help but sorry, the thousands of young men who are not refugees who are rioting, attacking women and all that crap have ruined it for those who are really in need. Canada, IMO, has done the right thing with taking families from refugee centers. Europe should have done the same.

I m all for supporting REAL Refugees, but the majority that come Europe are !migrants(most economic). And been going on for decades.

If you are a migrant enter legally, etc I did it in 2 countries.

Neither migrants or refugees will get the easy option of a job and apartment provided for FREE. Granted refugees get more assistance.

When your economy is shrinking 4% annualized, it's good to have a sense of humor at other people's expense. Keeps your mind off all the economic failures you've committed.

All of those interviewed in the article are from Syria yet Syrians make up only about 1/4 of the invaders in Greece. The rest are from various other dumps around the world trying their luck.

What annoys me is all the UN and charity types who claim that under "international law" the invaders have a right to travel wherever they like, unimpeded. They do not.

Refugees, really????? Instead of moving to another country just because they receive money, they should fight the oppressor as many did in Europe during the Second World War (there are enough weapons around they can use). To me they are just cowards and parasites. And for those who will disagree with me, I don't talk about the woman and children...

Spanki, they could have closed the borders ages ago. Merkle, whom I dearly respected up until this, gave the green light and chaos ensued. Yes, issues before her comments (France/English issues for years) but she really encouraged more to come.

Another problem is that some (not all) refugees have absolutely abhorrent behavior. Those few "bad apples" are enough to spoil the bunch.

For example, a newsreel from a citizen's point of view in France shows the refugees there are essentially destroying the town. It is certainly in part out of desperation, but France has no business taking in refugees if it can't take care of them...it's simply asking for trouble.

May they unanimously agree a hike in their tax free salaries in celebration.

Legal immigration is a process not a right. Illegal immigration is breaking the law. Here in USA we must not call them illegal immigrants the want us to call them undocumented citizens.

This illegal had illegally obtained a firearm and used it illegally for whatever reason against people. If the enforcement agencies did there job it may have never happened. If a secure border was in place it would not have happened.

If those who side with illegal immigration, I ask why have borders? Should we all be able to reside wherever we please?

I see a massive turmoil happening in Europe and other parts of the world. When people reach a level of desperation, a lot can happen like civil unrest. Lately we've been seeing increasing evidence of social instability and violence.

On the other news, Lately the elites from around the world have been buying properties in the Southern hemisphere and deep underground bunkers. What do they know that we don't? You would swear that they're preparing to "bug out" when the time comes.

Only time will tell!

This grotesque deal between Turkey and the EU bureaucrats is impossible to implement. It makes a bad situation even worse.
