So much for Putin’s hope of dividing Europe.

Another failed plan

So much for Putin’s hope of dividing Europe.

Another failed plan

Putin still has Orban in Hungary, and armies of anti-west keyboard warriors. Plus I imagine Putin still has hopes Trump will be elected and join other US Republicans that want to live in a world with no allies, Europe or anywhere else. Plus Putin also has China, Iran, North Korea and who knows which other autocracies he. can call friends, and maybe give him enough money to start rebuilding his gas station.

They will all freeze and have power cuts this winter. Great leaders.

Did you notice Putin starts getting pushed back really hard and Trump all of a sudden says he'll go and arrange a peace deal?

Winter is coming and Putin is trying to be the Night King. Let’s hope the Europeans have the strength to maintain their unity throughout the upcoming winter.

The European are reaping what they sowed with Putin,they have nobody else to blame,but themselves, nobody in the world feel sorry for them,it survival of the fittest now

UK and EU citizens are starting to protest because of the effects of unprecedented sanctions. French and UK leaders are preparing their citizens for blackouts in the coming months. Germany says use a cloth a brown of hot water to shower. This is reality from the leaders.

European leaders show unity in face of Russia's war in Ukraine:

The world must have seen enough loathed for such unity.

China would not want to be reminded of the forceful & cruel intrusion of Europe's combined troops of 8-nations in 1900.

They just looted and killed wildly..

@venze

you do know we’re living in the 21st century right ?

maybe China would not want to be reminded of the forceful & cruel dictatorship of Mao Zedong.

He killed wildly - 45 million to be exact

The Minsk-2 agreement

https://www.chathamhouse.org/2020/05/minsk-conundrum-western-policy-and-russias-war-eastern-ukraine-0/minsk-2-agreement

Please scroll down to Introduction: the ‘Minsk conundrum’

This one paragraph is significant.

Attempts at implementation have foundered because they are mistakenly predicated on compromise. Compromise is not, however, an option. The Minsk agreements rest on an unresolvable contradiction – what could be called the ‘Minsk conundrum’: is Ukraine sovereign, as Ukrainians insist, or should its sovereignty be limited, as Russia’s leaders demand?

No amount of European unity can escape this conundrum.

Also, to add President Putin government has Europe economies, its energy markets in a vice.

The cracks within the EU are beginning to show, there is no unified strategy on military support for Ukraine.

There must be total political honesty.

"We displayed the unity of 44 European countries which as 44 very clearly expressed their condemnation of Russia's war and their support for Ukraine," French President Emmanuel Macron said.

I believe that French President Emmanuel Macron efforts to be genuine, however Putin does not play by the rules, Putin is ruthless, Joe Biden over the last 48 hours stated…….

This "European Political Community" must stop talking and as prove that this is not another photo opportunity.

True. They seduced Ukraine into thinking that democracy and being aligned with Europe was a good thing. The catch is that having a democracy right next to Russia is bad for Putin's autocracy. Bad Ukraine. Stop thinking of freedom.

The European are reaping what they sowed with Putin,

yes, how dare Europe try & stop Putin invading his neighbouring countries

they have nobody else to blame,but themselves,

except maybe Putin, who did the invading

@yrral,

for someone who allegedly doesn’t care either way, you seem to be doing a lot bashing of Ukraine & the west
